The servers answered each question about food on the menu spectacularly, going into detail about each dish and letting us know their personal favorite dishes as well. Food came out quick, and every dish we tried was so flavorful! We got the pad thai, drunken noodles, panang curry, and pho! Everything was delicious. Ordered takeout here and got their lunch special hot and spicy basil chicken and an order of their shrimp pad see ew. The hot and spicy chicken basil was so good with the rice and their sauce drenched in it. It wasn't as spicy as I had anticipated but overall very flavorful. The pad see ew was good. I like how it was a bit charred and the noodles were overall very tasty. I ordered by phone and it was made quickly. There is a small parking lot as well. Food: All the dishes taste great! We got all our orders with medium spicy, but for me personally who eats spicy food, you don't really feel it and it gives you a slight sting on the tongue and great to stimulate your appetite. One of the customer even recommended all the food to us and she comes here all the time! Service: the staff is really warm as we walked in when they're about to close, but we were able to order in time and enjoy a great meal. Lately I've been visiting Lompoc fairly often and being big food lovers, my boyfriend and I have been trying out new places every time. This little place is in a very application.... They do the best with that by advertising on the main road, and we were lucky enough to see that. Please do yourself a favor and don't miss this little hole in the wall. It's fantastic! We are both Thai food lovers and pretty critical... especially of tom kha soup but nothing to complain about here! It was delicious. Perfectly blended and actually tasted buttery smooth. Great bite to it, we ordered spicy. Shrimp was cooked to perfection. We shared pineapple fried rice and drunken noodles both medium spice... next time we'll order spicy. We did get some chili on the side to give it a little more kick. But the flavors were all perfect. Vegetables were fresh. You could tell the tomatoes were just cut, and the noodles were cooked to perfection as well as the rice. Our server was quick and very helpful. The owner, I assume... came around a couple times to check in everyone and was great. I told him the food was fantastic and he responded "thank you, I'll tell the chef" .... May sound silly, but I worked in restaurants most of my life and an owner responding. This way, instead of taking credit is refreshing and, in my opinion, a great business owner. I want to point out whenever I look for a new place. I always look at the reviews on yelp and sort by the worst first. I want to see what kind of bad reviews so I can make my own call. On that note, I will advise anyone reading this review to please take all of the bad reviews with the grain of salt ... or rice as the case may be There was a bad review in here from someone who was mad just because he drove there and they were closed when he got there.... Never even had the food. Another bad review from a couple who showed up as they were closing, and you guessed it never even had the food. Someone complaining because they think the owners were racist.... Let me point out that while I am Caucasian my boyfriend is Mexican. There was also two other tables, both Mexican couples, and we all were treated fantastically. Prompt service, friendly, and not any different than anyone else. Yelp is a funny beast.... People like to come on here and take their aggression out for whatever reason. We will be back to this place often. So make sure you find this little hole in the wall you won't regret it! read more

I was really really craving Larb since coming back from Thailand and thought I'd give this place a try. So I ordered off of DoorDash. I got the chicken larb. larb has lemon grass in it , which I know but was chopped was mixed in with the rest of the items making it unpleasant to eat because it's hard and fibrous so I had to pick all the pieces out. Gross waitstaff that are rude to anyone they deem an immigrant. But they fawn and praise anyone that's a white American while tolerating any other non-white American. They're happy to argue with any person that has a non-American accent though. I heard the waitress arguing with some customers and gossiping after said people with non-American accents left the restaurant. Trashy behavior. The food was average. The xenophobia/racism grossed me out though. Especially when this place was a Thai restaurant. Glad to see first-hand how people in rural area treat those they deem outsiders like. This place needs an overhaul. Greeted by a dirty front door, which should have encouraged our immediate departure. We both ordered drunken noodles; one with vegetables and one with chicken. I ordered the vegetable only and requested it to be made Thai Spicy. It was straight inferno but without any signs of Thai chilies, which I found curious. Both dishes contained dry noodles that presented old or less than freshly made to order. This was my second time trying this restaurant and suffice it to say, I will not be returning. Sadly was left underwhelmed by flavor and texture of most items eaten. Orange chicken was mushy and lacked any orange flavor/sauce. Chicken satay was OK, but the peanut sauce was watery and weak. I was excited to find that this restaurant serves drunken noodles, which were good. The white and fried rices however, were way overcooked and mushy, and the fried rice tasted nothing like other Thai fried rices I've had, and I've had lots! Too much sauce of some sort, mushy and had a bit of a fishy tase, like it had been fried in a pan that previously had fish. The restaurant smelled really, really badly, and the service was mediocre. As vegetarians, it's very difficult to find good veggie or vegan food in the central coast. We've been looking for a good Thai restaurant for many years and finally we found one! When you look at the menu, it doesn't mention it, but you can actually swap out most meats with tofu, and if you ask them to omit the fish sauce you'll get a vegan version of the dish. It takes a little time to be delivered to the table, so be aware of that, but it's well worth the wait. we saw several people coming to pick up takeout, so this is a very popular place for local folks, and I don't blame them! read more

I've had lunch here several times over the last few years, usually with my work buddies. And we were all here again recently to celebrate the retirement of a colleague. They have a back room that is quiet and can accommodate about 15 or 20 people, which we used. I ordered the "beef salad" and it was great. Food is unexpectedly good for a back street place in Lompoc. Definitely the best in a wide area around this part of the central coast. I drive 30 minutes get here and it's always worth it. They have all my favorites and the spice level is just right for most people but you can request hotter if that's how you like it. Service is a little slow. My husband and I took a little vacation here in Lompoc. We like to support the locally owned businesses. I saw this restaurant when we were driving on N. H St. We decided to check it out. We're outside viewing the menu they had posted on the window. We decided what we wanted and were getting ready to head in. A customer was coming out with her to go order. We waited for her to come out. The minute she walked out an employee was right behind her locking the door on us! Turned off the open light immediately after locking the door on us. We were clearly standing there going over the menu. Several customers went in to pickup their to go orders. We could see the employees inside. Therefore, they could obviously see us looking at the menu. When we get back in the truck because this business must have more than enough customers that they didn't need our business, it wasn't even 8:00. They had about 10 minutes left before they were SUPPOSED to close. read more

Don't let the strip mall exterior fool you, this place is a staple Thai restaurant that has been in the same location for several decades. The inside is quaint, minimally decorated , and clean. Often times a flow of customers arrive one after another to pick up take out while you sit at your table. (They also deliver) The menu is large with all of the 'normal' Thai staples. The curries are delicious. Very smooth with deep flavors. My favorite dish overall is the Pad See Ew Noodles. Always cooked perfectly with crunchy vegetables and tender meat. Single-handedly the best pad Thai within 50 miles (maybe more)! And on top of that, the staff are kind and so welcoming! The location itself is a little hidden and not many tables, but it's efficient on to-go orders and they don't skimp on the proteins in their dishes. If you're dining-in, they also do not pressure you to hurry up and leave like staff *elsewhere* might. Wonderful flavors and just overall a rich meal that is still cost effective for a family or even a date night. The lunch menu is spectacular, varied, AND has great prices. I've lived off and on in Lompoc and I've always heard about the little Thai place hiding in an industrial building. Well we finally checked it out and we were pleasantly surprised! Thai Cusine is a quaint family owned business. The eating area is small, but cozy. A great place for a dinner date or lunch with a friend. I've not eaten much Thai food before and it was delicious. We started with cream cheese wontons. I ordered the Pad See Ew with tofu. My husband had orange chicken and rice. I also had Thai tea with boba and it was sweet and refreshing. Surprising cafe in an industrial area. Have to say if your a ambience snob, this is not your place but BOY WILL YOU MISS OUT! Seven tables in front and a larger area in back make this very intimate. We came in around 2, no wait, nice. Prices great, lunch specials perfect for those on a budget. The food was terrific! I had ginger beef, loved it! Right Brain had Boxing Chicken, an interesting baked marinated chicken. The spices are wonderful! Both salads were good. The dressings delicious. This place has good quality Asian food, opens relatively late at 9pm on Saturday and packs food nicely. But a few things to note - 1. Food containers, for to-go, are small. There is also not a lot of beef or chicken in the food 2. Drunken noodle is not the real thick rice noodle, instead you get the thin soup rice noodle, so this dish is not satisfying 3.
