You know when you cant stop talking about how great the food is the place has to be good. And sure enough while staying in Santa Maria for a week I searched up best Thai Restaurants in the area. This restaurant was in the top ten so my mom and I decided to try it. When we arrived the door had a sign that said cash/venmo only accepted. So make sure you have either or as forms of payment. It will be worth it trust me. We were greeted by Jay Nipomo and seated promptly. Impeccable customer service. Met all are needs. Water was filtered, not tap. Always had extra napkins. Ordered the Pad See u with beef, yum salad Ribeye, tom yum soup with chicken, lettuce wrap name sod & crispy rice, chamomile citron tea. Everything is an must try. Served fresh all veggies and meats. I've been to quite a few Thai restaurants and hands down this one is the best that I have tried. You can tell the cook puts their heart and soul in every dish. Delicious! Will definitely return when I visit again. At the completion of our dinner Mr. Jay packed our left overs. He took his time to find out where we were coming from made us feel at home. Thank you so much its rare to have such great service as this.

A Plant-Based Paradise with Soulful Thai Flavors If you're vegan, vegetarian, or simply plant-curious and craving something nourishing and full of flavor, this Thai restaurant is a must-visit. I ordered the sautéed vegetables and vegetable fried rice, and both dishes were absolute perfection--fresh, vibrant, and cooked with care. The veggies were crisp and colorful, sautéed just right to preserve all their natural antioxidant goodness. The fried rice was comforting and satisfying without feeling heavy, a perfect balance of flavor and wholesomeness. This spot is more than just a meal--it's fuel for the body and soul. Every bite feels heart-healthy and made with intention. Whether you live plant-based or are just looking for a cleaner, conscious meal, this is the kind of place that makes you feel good inside and out. Highly recommend for anyone seeking soulful, veggie-forward Thai food in a warm, welcoming setting. Service was fast and lovely as well will be back!

What an amazing place! This is the best Thai food place I've need too. We had a party of 6 during dinner and the service was amazing! Super friends staff and the food....OMG the food!!! Everyone at the table raved about their food!!! The table ordered one of every category. Started with Pot Stickers and edamame! Mmm mmm good. We're here on a Wednesday night so it wasn't too busy or loud. I will definitely be back!!

Always a pleasure to dine at Thai Villa. This authentic Thai restaurant is locally owned. 100% fresh ingredients. You'll meet the owners and the chef every time you dine here. Portions are large, great local wine, selection, craft beers with a fun, lively, casual atmosphere.

My New Year's goal is eat healthier so I ordered take -out. An order of fresh veggie spring rolls for dinner tonight. They were fantastic and the sauce was delicious. Everything I have ordered from Thai Villa has been very good. I like dining there because the dining area is so nice and elegant, Service is great. I was greeted with kindness and my order was ready when I arrived. FYI, They only accept cash or Venmo.

Chris and the staff and the food and the ambience is phenomenal. The drunken noodles and chicken pad Thai and the bbq chicken, outstanding! Delicious and flavorful and authentic, Highly recommend this hidden gem in Nipomo and come get your food groove on. 10 out of 10!!!

The food was the best Thais I've had on the central coast - and the service was some of the best service I've had in my life. The personal recommendations of the special pork knuckle, and genuine care for the experience of the customers was heartwarming. Just as they care for the food of their patrons, they care for the cleanliness and ambiance of their restaurant. It's the cleanest, nicest restaurant in Nipomo- for sure. She asked me if I thought there was a market for all-you-can-eat crab.

It wasn't too filling to where we lost our appetite for the main entrees. We got the grilled teriyaki salmon, fried rice, and the Mongolian plate. The fried rice came with crispy chicken and it was so good! The salmon had a little bit of crispiness to it which is good. The Mongolian plate wasn't too spicy but we were able to add some chili oil to make it a little more spicy. The food we ordered was really good. They have a good variety of options which made me want to try more but I will just have to come back another time to try more. The service was good... the server was kind and tentative. At first, i was confused if someone was going to take our order but i soon realized that there were only two servers that day.

It was the end of a long, windy, and rainy drive all the way from 17-Mile Drive after heading down from San Jose. By the time I reached Morro Bay around 8:00 PM, my GPS and phone signal finally started to return. I then drove from west to east and reached San Luis Obispo, which I had visited the day before and which had left me with a very good impression. A kind police officer had even left a citation on my windshield with a $0 fine after I mistakenly parked my car in a commercial loading zone in Chinatown during a restricted time I hadn't realized was in effect. That Chinatown was small--perhaps the smallest I have ever seen--though I once thought the one in Singapore was the smallest, but then again, isn't all of Singapore essentially a Chinatown? I drove back into the heart of San Luis Obispo that evening, and instead of just finding a Domino's pizza, I decided to have a proper sit-down dinner. I searched for restaurants near me, and Thai Delight Cuisine popped up with a high score on Google Maps, only a few minutes away. I arrived around 8:20 PM, parked by the road, and paid the parking fee through a kiosk. The machine was as kind as the policeman and only charged me until 9:00 PM, after which parking was free. Once I entered the restaurant, every table was occupied except for one that hadn't even been cleaned yet. I was seated after being greeted kindly by three different waitresses. I was cold and sweaty from the drive, but I still ordered a glass of Thai tea for the caffeine, knowing I still had almost four hours of driving ahead of me. Unfortunately, the tea was too sweet and lacked the strong, aromatic flavor that a normal Thai tea should have; it felt more like a glass of sugar water. The atmosphere was very pleasant, though it was interesting to note that in the entire restaurant, only two of us were Asian, and we were the only two using chopsticks. Being in wine country, the restaurant had a large storage area with various wines that looked excellent, but I was in a hurry and not in the mood for a tasting. The Tom Yum seafood was served quickly, just a few minutes after I placed my order. It arrived in an aluminum pot that lacked the traditional middle chimney but was still good-looking. I took several pictures of the dish and then used my right hand to take the spoon to pour the soup, but I was "bitten" by the spoon--a very strong pain in my finger. I was confused and tried to take the spoon a second time, but I dropped it again. I realized the tip of the spoon had been resting directly over the fire underneath the pot and had become extremely hot. I had to grab some ice from my water to try and cool down my finger. The Tom Yum soup was neither spicy nor sour--perhaps just a hint of sourness, but far too little. It wasn't spicy at all, and the waitress didn't even ask for a spice level when I ordered. I wouldn't give this Tom Yum top marks if I were in Bangkok, as it was well below average, but honestly, it didn't taste bad on a cold night after a long drive. The seafood in the pot was very fresh, which I didn't expect to find in the middle of the mainland. The shrimp were big and tender, the crab was fresh, and the scallops and fish were all high quality; they used good sea fish rather than cheap basa. The only pity was that the soup was too sweet without that strong sour attack, which is the spirit of Tom Yum itself. I waited quite a while for the fried rice to arrive, only to find it contained the exact same ingredients: squid rolls, mussels, shrimp, crab legs, scallops, fish, and even tomatoes. It was identical to the Tom Yum, just in a different form. I wish they had told me the ingredients were the same when I ordered! The taste wasn't bad, even though the tomatoes and eggs were slightly burnt with dark marks and the rice was a bit too moist. Again, it was just way too sweet. So, in the end, I had a glass of sugar water, a pot of sugar soup, and a plate of sugar rice, and I got my finger burnt in the process--but I would still give it 4 stars. The seafood was incredibly fresh, the environment was very warming, and overall, I think I had a very good trip.
