If you're gonna do an online order for lunch , I strongly don't recommend not doing it and going in person . The reason for this is because this incident didn't happen just once but several other times too . I placed an online order @ 10:40-45am on a Wednesday and have it ready by 11:30 and I did an online order so I can just go in wait for 2-3 minutes and go out right away to have time to eat during my 30min lunch . I came at 11:40 and I saw a bunch of other customers waiting for their online pick up order. This just tells me this is gonna be a long wait again like the other incidents . I waited until 12:00pm for my order to be ready and that just gives me 10 mins to drive back to my job and eat . I don't know who manages this store but it's better for them to put the online orders a priority , especially for those who ordered way ahead of the time . Maybe a suggestion is to do two people in line and then fulfill the online order . I think the managing the staff definitely needs some work according from other reviews I'm reading. I'm definitely not gonna be ordering online from them again cause it's just a waste of your time. What's the point if I have to walk in and wait another 20-30 mins for my food to be ready while the people in line get theirs before mine . I went here today and it was absolutely ridiculous. I know it's hard right now with the virus and all but they are completely unorganized and incompetent. The line was from the door to out in the parking lot, no instructions from employees to line up on the sidewalk. They had no separate lines for order and pickup so that was a shitshow in itself. No one could hear any of the employees when they're calling out orders. Finally we order and they don't have what we want, then we waited for our food for 30 mins. The guy handing out food had zero sense of urgency for the big crowd waiting, twiddling his thumbs and checking out his nails, and kept calling the name Jacob. After everyone got their food and we were still waiting, we went up to the window and asked where our food was, and the girl asks the guy if there's an order for Dylan, and he says "nope just jacob." So the girl looks at the receipt and says "this says dylan" and they just went oopsie and shrugged and gave us our order. No apology whatsoever. I don't know how in the world you can get Jacob from of Dylan. And of course when we got home (which isn't far) the food was stone cold and no sauce for our rangoons or egg rolls. Idk what's up with management there but they need to step it up or close the shop. Soooooo. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands before I started to eat. To my dismay there was not any soap. then it got worse. One of the employees can out of the bathroom stall and rinsed her hands off. She didn't even reach for the soap, which leads me to believe she knew there wasn't any and gave zero fu$ks. She then exited the bathroom wiped down the tables, mopped a wet spot on the floor, and took out the utensils and placed them in their respective places. And if I remember correctly there wasn't a sign in the bathroom to remind the employee to wash their hands. I lost my appetite and threw my food away as soon as I got home. It's disgusting. Not very happy with my experience at this location, the line was not very long at around 4:30 on a Sunday and they had 3 girls grabbing the orders and three cooks in the back and the manager of course and it felt like it took forever to get my food and I only ordered two bigger plates. I was trained at the pleasant hill location so I know how the service should be I just want to say & usually at every other Panda Express I go to the service is great but I just don't know what was going on this day the girl who initially welcomes you that you start your order off to was coming off snobbish towards all of the people in front of me (her name was Sara) and I didn't really want to deal with it so I was making sure to come off nice because I didn't know what her issue was but she hardly smiled unless she was talking to one of her coworkers having whispering conversations, it feels like she rushes people to order, her tone of voice did not seem very nice. Also when I ordered the wok fire steak and shrimp she hardly gave me a good mix in my portion she gave me 6 pieces of shrimp and I had nothing else but the bell peppers and the shrimp and I had hardly any rice for my side. I just felt like I got skimped. I'll probably never come back to this location I only went there because I was at target and going home and wanted to pick up something quick. I'll probably stick to the Balfour location now. The Brentwood location is closer for me, but this one is in Slatten Ranch. So while shopping in this center, the Panda is super convienient. It's not really any different that any other location in terms of the layout, the size, the people, the food. They follow the Panda template to a T. It's always the same. We used to love Panda Express....After last night dinner that seems to have changed. My daughter and I always order the same items: Orange Chicken, Bejing Beef, Chow Main & Fried Rice. As my daughter started eating her rice she says it tastes weird....I tasted and realized it was made with brown rice, which I like, but it is a taste you get used to...She was grossed out. I did go up and read the "new" sign but for customers to be forced to eat brown rice is not fair =( Why not have the option for both?? Their orange chicken pieces are so big now....And really fatty...We used to enjoy when they were smaller, with a bit more crunchyness, not so soggy. I just went into this location, I've been in there before and the food is pretty good if you like fast, decently priced Chinese. I happened to be having a really, really bad day. When I walked in there was a line and it felt like the people in front of me were taking FOREVER, even though it probably wasn't too long, I'm just grouchy from the whole bad day thing. Anyways, when I got to the counter there was this young girl, really short hair, petite, with an amazing smile. She was just doing her job by taking my order and helping me but she was so kind, and genuine. Yesterday, i decided to order lunch to go from Panda Express on Lone Tree in Antioch, CA. I ordered food that was to be ready at 2:30pm. Due to an unexpected delay i was almost 25 minutes late to pick up my food. When i got in the line was really long for orders, but i was able to go to the pickup area without issue. There was a bag with a receipt taped to it, which i assumed was mine. When the employee arrived i told him i was late and i had an order to pickup. I also asked if the order on the take out cart was mine. He said he'd check, came back and said they had not started my order yet. Then about 5 minutes later he grabbed the bag with the receipt on it i'd asked about and said, "oh i guess this is yours"...annoying, but okay. I walked with my bag out to my car, decided given the issues hat i should check and be sure...I opened the bag, and i had ordered 4 egg rolls. I got 1. I wasn't even going to bother with it, but i paid 10 bucks for 4 egg rolls. I went back in, told the employee i was missing 3 egg rolls. He came back with a small bag with 2 egg rolls in it. He wouldn't have said anything if i had not asked where the 4th egg roll was. He then said, well, we can make more but it will be about 10-20 minutes.... I opted not to wait, nor take a spring roll. I went here a couple days ago with my boyfriend about an hour before closing and my experience was subpar at best. The service was terrible; we were waiting by the counter to be served while a group was being served ahead of us. The employees was very talkative and friendly while she was helping the guests in front of us. She was also giving extra food that they didn't pay for and at first, I though she was just being nice and giving extra because they were closing soon. However, when we were finally helped she was being standoffish and giving us smaller portions and no extra unlike the group ahead of us. We couldn't help but notice that the group ahead of us and the employee were all of the same ethnicity and my boyfriend and I were not and it seemed like she was very short with us because of that. I am really upset because we were paying for the same amount of food but I had significantly less than the other group. My boyfriend and I had to go ahead of the group so we could finish and pay and by the time we left, the group was still in there getting things from behind the counter. I only gave 1 star because I had to do at least 1. I ordered food online to be ready asap. Well asap turned into 45 min because, even though the app says go straight to the register for pickup, the cashier chose to ignore my son for 20 min and help other people who walked in. Upon his arrival at home I saw that 1 entire 3 item entree was missing as well as an item on another plate. There were only 4 plates total on the order. I called Panda and the person who answered the phone was quite rude and advised me they would only make the food I was missing. I told her I was coming in and wanted all the food fresh. I arrived at Panda and spoke to Huma, whom proceeded to inspect my bag and said only one 3 item plate was missing and orange chicken missing out of another, and she would give me what I was missing. I refused, since all the food I had was now over an hour old at room temperature. She was literally angry that I wanted all new food and took my receipt with attitude with no apology and handed the receipt off to a coworker and advised an employee to remake the order without giving me another glance and walked into the back. I asked to speak to her again and asked for a complaint number for poor customer service and she handed me a number and still refused to apologize for my inconvenience. I sat there waiting for 30 more minutes as I watched 7 new groups of people get served ,who walked through the door after I made my complaint, as my food kept getting pushed aside. 30 minutes later I asked for Huma again and for my money back. She neglected to come out from the back and relayed to someone the food was almost done and such a big order takes awhile ( it was only 4 entrees). I told said employee he could not refuse me a refund and it had been 2 hours since my order was placed and 2 trips to the restaurant. Huma then resurfaced and advised me since I paid online she couldn't refund me from her register and it would have to be credited tomorrow. I asked, "Am I just supposed to take your word for it that the money will be refunded then?" She told me yes that the manager had to do tomorrow. So I paid over $50 for food I never got and was refused my money back. Huma advised I can call and talk to the manager tomorrow. All this because I was sick and couldn't cook for my family on Christmas!
