Ordered for a quick pick up while visiting dad who lives close by. Quick 15 minutes and was ready right on time. Orange chicken, just the right crispness and orange sauce. I don't like when food is drowned with sauce. Asked for Tofu and veggies - this was perfect. Had carrots, water chestnuts, mushrooms, bok choy. Hot and sour soup. Dad said wasn't spicy enough. It had ok taste to me. My sis enjoyed it. Bamboo shoots, egg and shrimp in a brown rich broth. Combination fried rice with good amounts of beef meat and vegetables. Overall enjoyed all the entrees.

I paid $37 for these lunch plates and the portions were very disappointing!!! I could have went to Jade House in Pittsburg and spent $24 and gotten a tastefully bigger plate! Plus the fried rice looks and tastes like steamed rice...

I've grown up eating Chinese food in SF Chinatown through the 70's and 80's in the Bay Area. In a lot of ways it's become comfort food for me therefore I've been on a lifelong search for good Chinese food. The proximity to where I work did play a factor on choosing a new lunch spot. Also the fact that they been in business for a longtime and is an iconic local restaurant were the other factors. The service has always been prompt every time I've ordered either over the phone or in person. It has a pleasant ambiance and the interior is nicely done. Now that I've had the opportunity to try several different dishes over the past couple of months, I can say that this is the best Chinese food spot in Antioch. Not just good but consistently good.

Yelp's Double Dragon main picture of their Salt and Pepper Pork Chop gravitated my to visit them during for lunch. It became all to familiar as I parked beside the restaurant: Double Dragon has been here for many years. I remember see this restaurant as I traverse James Donlon via Somersville to skip the traffic going to Brentwood. Yup, Hwy 4 bypass was not yet created. We ordered the Salt & Pepper pork chop, along with Beef Chow Mein, Walnut Prawns, their special Double Dragon Beef, along with Chicken Corn soup. We also had Cream Cheese Rangoon for appetizer. The rangoon was just okay with a slightly different presentation. But the mouthwatering picture of the pork chop does due justice. Thinly sliced, it was delicious, crunchy, and properly seasoned. The Walnut Prawns were delicious as well, with a good amount of crunch and a distinct taste difference from your typical honey walnut prawns that make it more interesting. Beef Chow Mein was distinctly OG Chinese resto flavor. Double Dragon beef was very crunchy but was alright, so was the Chicken corn soup. Its amazing how Double Dragon has been open though the decades. Now I know why and will visit once in a while to mix up my Chinese food inkling.

Please be cautious when dining at this restaurant; it is advisable to carefully review your receipts to ensure accuracy. They may be adding gratuity without your consent. Therefore, please retain your receipts. The owners are sneaky. I will never go back to this restaurant.

Tiny Portions!

Zero stars. yes, the waaayyyyyy overpriced food is good, but they are too cheap to offer Chow Mein for their "lunch specials". The lunch special portions are pathetically small for paying 18 bucks for lunch (?!?!?!?!). The "fried rice" was just some yellow rice crap with zero veggies. The lunch container has three compartments and they filled one with one cheap fried wonton. the hot and sour soup container was barely half full. What a complete ripoff. I'm never going there again and I will tell everybody to avoid that place. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!!

Everything we got was delicious and fresh. The bbq pork fried rice had great flavor. 10/10 The sweet and sour pork was crispy and had more meat than breading which is what I like. I would definitely order that again. The chow mein was also full of flavor and had nice big shrimp. The Szechuan eggplant & tofu was another favorite. The sauce is soo good. The honey walnut prawns were HUGE. Probably the largest prawns I've seen used in this dish. They were delicious. The princess chicken was really good the sauce has a little kick. This was my first time trying it and I would get it again. Once again, they have a perfect meat to breading ratio that I appreciate. Over all, my experience here was great and the food is delicious. I will be returning again. 5 stars

This restaurant has been going viral recently, which encouraged my cousin and I to check it out…read more First things first, when you first pull up, just know it is currently in a heavy traffic area. For some reason, there were so many people pulling in and out of 7-Eleven. It is sketchy, since there are people hanging out outside, so I actually was keeping an eye on my car tbh. But don't let that deter you because the restaurant inside transports you into a well-kept restaurant. When entering the restaurant, it seems there is only one person taking care of the front of house, which is a woman who is taking both phone orders & dine-in orders. She was very friendly! As for the food, We ordered several items to try and were pretty impressed because the meal was great quality & not greasy! Our top favorite was their honey walnut prawns, the prawns are a great size, they fry it in a nice light batter, then dress it with the honey walnut sauce. We REALLT liked that they fry it in a nice light batter and that the sauce wasn't too mayo-ey. Everything else we ordered was great & truly fried to perfection. No regrets on a single item we ordered. However, we do regret missing out on their salt & pepper chicken. So we'll have to come back! I hope this restaurant continues to bring in more customers! Seems like a gem in a rough area.

First and foremost, I'd like to give a huge thank you to Jeanette for being such a wonderful host…read moreand treating us like family. She is a key reason as to why we want to keep coming back; her attitude and enthusiasm is fantastic. Me and my family enjoyed our dinner and loved every dish we ordered. Their wonton soup is an excellent choice for a starter and can be shared up to at least 3 people. The wontons are fresh and tasty, the mushrooms are chunky and complement well with the bakchoy. There's even thinly sliced red pork which adds some taste and texture to the soup. We thoroughly enjoyed their spicy Mongolian chow fun. This had some sweetness to it but also some heat which was just right. The beef was super tender! It melts in your mouth. My wife ordered the Sun Kitchen sushi special which was delicious and had big pieces. The quality of sushi here is great! My son enjoyed his bento box which consisted of teriyaki grilled chicken, salad with creamy sesame dressing and then large pieces of vegetable tempura. This is an excellent deal with a good amount of choices to choose from. Jeanette and Tony frequently stopped by to check on us and made sure our meals were good and our drinks were refilled. They are so accommodating and inviting. The music they were playing in the background was on point! They were playing smooth R&B in which me and my wife were dancing. It's spacious inside the restaurant and can hold a good amount of guests. I will say, I wish the temperature was cooler inside; it was a bit warm but didn't really bother us. We can't wait to come back! We love this place!
