    66. Garlic Noodles w/ Shaking Beef / Mi Toi Bo Lúc Låe so gooooood!!
    Sarah M.

CreAsian had me PLEASANTLY surprised! First off, the employees are all very kind, attentive, and willing to answer any questions or make accommodations. Some of the people I was with had some dietary restrictions and the female employee who I think runs this place was sooo helpful in advising and recommending, as well as sharing where she could make accommodations or adjustments. The food itself was really, really good. I had low expectations honestly but my meal was top notch. The place itself looks nice on the inside and has a nice aesthetic but the customers can get a little rowdy sometimes. All in all, it was a very solid experience.

My sister and I stopped her for dinner. I never been to CreAsian bistro before and we decided we wanted to try it out. Walked in and we immediately greeted Asher how many and were told we could sit anywhere we want. The restaurant in a pretty good size fit dining in and ample seating. The restroom are very clean as well. The inside is clean no decorations or anything, but in a great location in Downtown Pittsburg. My sister ended up ordering the chicken and shrimp noodles $16 I ordered salt and pepper chicken wings $12 garlic noodles $10 and fresh spring rolls with shrimp and pork $9. Our food came out pretty quick. The first that came out were my sister's chicken and shrimp noodles and my fresh spring rolls. I felt my sister noodles were an okay portion, however they only put 1 shrimp in here entire dish they were very stingy and should call it a chicken and shrimp dish very insulting and misleading. My fresh spring rolls were very flavorful and delicious, however the portion size is very small for the price. Our Salt and pepper wing came out with a side of salt and pepper sauce and sweet and sour sauce. We got 6 ting dinky wings for $12 definitely not at all worth the price and they sure didn't list how many we receive that's definitely my fault for not asking. I when I received my garlic noodles I was really bummed out on the amount I receive. It was on a small plate and the presentation was blah. It was good, but I would have never paid for what I received if u knew what I would have got. My sisters food portion was a little bigger than mine and I didn't even have meat in my dish. Overall, I wasn't impressed with that portions the prices are too high for what you get. I probably won't come back unless they fix the portion sizes for what they charge.

This location used to be great. But today I am officially done with all CreAsian locations near me. The Lone Tree location was good, but really fell off during the shutdown and apparently relocated to Discovery Bay. The one at the Streets of Brentwood was never good, totally flavorless and dumbed down. So I was very disappointed to get the same tasteless food from the Pittsburg location. I know how to make lemongrass chicken and this is NOT it. Apparently, 3 slices of jalapeño meet their definition of spicy. And, yes, I asked for spicy. I don't see a drop of fish sauce on this dry chicken or anything resembling lemongrass. They are clearly catering to people with no taste buds and not authentic. To be fair, the spring rolls were decent, but not enough to go back.

It's on the secret menu. So just ask for the "Pipsta" Short Ribs over curry rice and vegetables. You can taste it just by looking at it!

First of all, let me start by saying. The staff I encountered were legit I can tell you that everyone has their own opinions as food is and will always be a preference. Well, I'll let the picture I post tell it all. Basically food and service 5 star for me. If you read my other reviews, I never normally leave good reviews. But when I recognize a place that needs recognition. Then well...yea this one is definitely it. I mean just look at my picture! The environment is cool, chill. Sports on the TV above the bar. Even the customers were super chill. If you like a laid back place and you want to just be in the moment and eat. This place is that place.

The overall experience after some miscommunication ordering was very pleasant. The beef Banh Mi and the sweet and sour chicken are both very good. I believe the chicken is pulled with a very nice light crust and sauce.

I usually love this place but I ordered Pan Fried Noodles and there is nothing fried about these noodles!! I thought I was being punked!

I used to love this place , you can see my previous review, but unfortunately this place is no longer what it used to be. I went last weekend and the food was tasteless , no longer good quality or good flavor. It breaks my heart to write this review, because I truly loved this place . I stopped coming because during the pandemic everything changed and they were closed without any notice on and off. I was craving their delicious garlic noodles but no they were not good! The pho was tasteless. Customer service it's average. The restaurant it's clean, spacious , there's parking outside, and they still have that good ice-cream sandwiches on macaroons. The spring rolls were good, and my pork sandwich was t good till I got to a rubbery meat...

Ask the Community - CreAsian Bistro

    Is there dine in yet?

Yes! we do dine in BUT we are close for lunch from 2pm - 3pm for lunch :)

Are they open during the pandemic?

Takeout only, thw kitchen closes from 2-3, but can take orders then I think.

Is there a good seafood selection?

They have quite a few dishes with seafood in them and it is always good quality. I really like the food here and the service has never been terrible, like this other person is saying.

Their posted hours on the door as well as on Yelp say that they are open until 9 PM. When I walked in, there was no worker to be found. A young man emerged, and he looked confused. I asked what time they were open until. He said 9 PM. It seemed like he finally realized that I wanted to eat, and he tried to take my order to go, although he didn't give me a menu. I asked if I could be seated and get a menu. He awkwardly said OK. After I sat down, he came over and said that the cook might leave early, and that I might want to hurry up and order. I politely excused myself and said that I would come back another time. I then drove to another nearby restaurant that also is open till 9 PM. I didn't get there until 9:35 PM, but they served me and were very pleasant, and I had a great dinner. I don't understand why a business would post their hours and then not abide by them.

There is a lot of parking since it is in the Safeway shopping center in Downton PH. We were sat right away and looking at the menu, a lot of the dishes felt more modern than traditional (when I compare it to other Vietnamese restaurants I go to). Decided to go with my comfort dish, which is Grilled Pork Rice Plate. Grilled Pork Rice Plate: I opted for brown rice for a healthier approach. The pork was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. It was also not dry and had a good amount of flavor to it. It sat on a bed of lettuce, which gave it a nice presentation. Overall, a simple dish which I thoroughly enjoyed and had leftovers after. I had a great time eating lunch with my parents and my partner. I look forward to coming here again.

For appetizers, we tried their crispy rolls. The husband couldn't eat these because they had some shrimp in them, but more for the kids and me. Came with a side of fish sauce, and overall was pretty tasty. My son isn't too big on pho, so he tried a pork chop plate and the garlic noodles. He said both were good. He ate it all, so actions match his words there. My daughter mentioned the chicken pho she had contained a lot of chicken and she likes it that way. She also noticed the better quality of meat and bigger portions. Their special pho is an XL size and comes with the shortrib on the bone. I need to come back here very hungry to devour that or at least split that and other stuff with a friend. I've had their other beef pho, and they were good. Def good quality beef. There was a time where I wanted a certain combo without the meatballs and requested they added more of their tendon and tripe instead, but it seems they just took out the meatballs since there were just a couple pieces of tendon in there. The noodles really cooked within the broth. It was interesting since the broth didn't feel too hot as I was able to eat / drink it right away, but the noodles ended up much softer than I'd like. Casual setting here with the tables, cashier, some TV on the walls, etc.

The steamed dumplings are really good too! There was nobody inside sitting at tables, which made me a little nervous at first. But I noticed they were getting a lot of DoorDash Orders and Phone Orders. The restaraunt itself is really beautiful inside and very clean. I know some yelpers have complained about parking. But it's really not that bad. Even if you did had to park down the street, this place is worth it. Bathrooms are clean as well. Service was slightly slow, but we didn't mind at all.
