Really love this place! Their Ramens and Popcorn Chicken are delicious! Boba is really tasty as well and nicely packaged. Wasn't too found of their chow mein though. It wasn't horrible, it just needed to be more flavorful and the beef needed to be more tender. Overall this is one of my favorite spots to go in Pittsburg. It's very clean, and the family that owns the restaraunt are very nice people. I love supporting local family run businesses. Hope to see them succeed, because it's a really great place to bring your family for lunch or dinner. Looking forward to trying their other dishes!

I came here to eat by myself, it was a nice peaceful dining experience. The food was good. I got extra green onion and extra egg. I only wish it was a tiny bit more flavorful, but besides that everything was great! The lady who served me was very nice and she checked on me multiple times throughout!

I came around 1:30 on a Friday, and there were a couple of customers but it wasn't bustling so I immediately got a table. The place is pretty quiet but it's nice. There's a great mural on the wall. As for the chicken ramen: it is fantastic. The noodles, chicken and egg make it a real hearty meal. The waiter came by and checked in, and I told her the food is great.

Ambiance - 4/5 The place is clean and appealing. Service - 5/5 The young girl server (only server) is very attentive, accommodating and pleasant and offered Ice water right away. Food - 2/5 Takoyaki - 1/5 not even close to a real takoyaki. Super bland. It is like eating a fried flour Shrimp Tempura - 1/5 battered so thick and bland. They came put hot which is good but really bland. The sauce is good Beef Teriyaki - 2/5 beef is tender which has a lot of onions. Teriyaki sauce and veggies are cold when they served it. Rice is ok Tonkatsu Ramen - 3/5 Pork is very tender noodles is firm egg is overcooked however the broth itself is lacking depth. Not rich enough and lacks of flavor, it is on a bland side as well, the garlic spicy sauce on the side is a good condiment to add it up. I am very disappointed to give this low score but I have to share my experience truthfully! The server is a gem to this place and how warmth the service was!

The food here is delicious, I'm not a ramen fan, but this one is delicious, it's not salty , which often a turn off for me ( salty ramen ) , popcorn chicken is great . Love it !! The place is ok, however the owner is so nice , and it's the food that counts!

WOW AMAZING!! I can't believe I've missed this place after living here for so long, but I'm glad I gave it a try! This place is a thousand times more better than most Ramen places I've tried, including locations in Walnut Creek. I love the freshness, the large portions they serve you, and the cleanliness of this place. Also the food is delicious! Can't wait to come back. Happy customer here

I am a regular here so I am surprised I haven't reviewed this place yet. This resrestaurant is located in pittsburg ca next to lutong bahay and another local Chinese restaurant. All of them are family owned. The kids hangout at each of the three restaurants. As a pittsburg local, this is one of my favorite places to eat in our small town. The ramen is alot better than ramen 101. The pork in the tokontsu is very soft. There is only 1 person who takes the orders every time I am here. She has amazing customer service. She remembers all my past orders. She packed my leftovers once when I was one phone with someone the food always comes out fast. They have good fruit tea as well. I love taking friends to this hidden gem in pittsburg. I hope more people visit.

Caught up with a friend here yesterday for an early dinner. There was plenty of parking outside. We felt so welcomed coming in and there was quite a bit of space inside. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen whilst my friend ordered the BBQ Pork Belly Fried Rice. Well portioned. We both enjoyed the meal & our server was very attentive & kind. The Tonkotsu broth was so rich and the pork was cooked nicely. The broth did need a touch more flavor but it was something I could ignore. Overall I thought it was delicious! I was able to try some of the fried rice and I had no issues with it. I liked the slight crisp of the pork belly. I also ordered a strawberry smoothie with coconut jelly after the meal and it was a bit too sweet for my liking, next time I would probably lower the sweetness to 50%. Other than that, I like how fresh strawberries were used. 7.5/10

I was recommended to try this place from one of my supervisors. I called to order a Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen for pick up but when I got there I received the Chili Beef Ramen. I tried calling so i would be able to use the Yelp 15% discount for checking in, however I was informed they didn't honor that and they had no idea why it was posted. The directions lead you to this back parking lot that looks like it's the wrong place. There's a sign that leads you to a hallway door, where you can see an open door shortly after entering. The open door to the restaurant is blocked by a table with a sign about picking up orders, so I assume this place is only a to- go spot. You have to ask for utensils and napkins The food is pretty good; they separate the noodles/toppings from the broth. The noodles are nothing special but the broth is rich and adequately spicy (and I like spicy foods). The egg is eh, it doesn't look super appetizing and it's slightly overcooked for my liking.

A quiet little spot on Railroad Avenue that isn't busy at 5:00PM on a Monday. The service was great! The pork broth was flavorful and made me want to finish every drop. The chashu (pork) and egg was super tasty. The price is on par for what ramen of this quality should be.

Come here every time just to get their Tonkotsu Ramen. It's my favorite! I always order extra egg as it pairs so well with the slices of pork. The service is also great. Very friendly. They always make sure we are happy with our food.

But this place right here is on point! I've tried their food a couple times and it was really delicious. So I decided to come visit in person. Their Soups/Ramens are super flavorful and delicious. Fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked veggies & noodles. I was really craving a good green tea because it was cold. They had a really good Jasmine Tea that was so robust in flavor. The steamed dumplings are really good too! There was nobody inside sitting at tables, which made me a little nervous at first. But I noticed they were getting a lot of DoorDash Orders and Phone Orders. The restaraunt itself is really beautiful inside and very clean. I know some yelpers have complained about parking. But it's really not that bad. Even if you did had to park down the street, this place is worth it. Bathrooms are clean as well. Service was slightly slow, but we didn't mind at all. Because we could tell it was a family run business, with very few people working in back. Ming was a really nice gentleman. He was handling a lot of things at once. But he was on top of everything and super friendly. 15% gratuity was automatically added to our bill. But I didn't mind because the prices were fairly reasonable for the quantity & quality of food. I ended up paying an extra tip because they were so amazing. This place gives you a feeling of comfort food. Great ambiance and great milk teas as well. I really hope this place gets a lot of business because it is definitely a hidden gem. I will be back more frequently. Hopefully with a lot more of my family members. The parking spots near this restaurant are usually half empty and there's typically at least one suspicious car sitting there with some odd-looking activity going on. Not the fault of "Tokyo Ramen & BBQ". I walked in, even though from the outside it looked closed. A woman followed me in (she seemed possibly homeless. Not judging, just painting a picture). When I walked in, none of the tables had ANYTHING on them. And it looked kind of like they were out of business. I saw no employees. I waited. Then, I saw a man appear from behind the counter (he had been bent over doing something and I didn't see him at first). I wanted to try the food, because the reviews seemed pretty good, but I was sensing that I might regret it if I got locked in to this situation... The lady asked, "Are you open?" And the man said, "Yes". I walked straight out and went to a different ramen place for lunch. So, I can't speak to the food quality. But the ambiance was dismal. And, though it's not their fault, the whole scenario of that side shopping center made me think that they won't be around long. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see myself going back...

I also chose pork belly as my choice of protein, and I thought the pork belly slices (chashu) was pretty good. Price was pretty standard for nowadays. The ambience of the restaurant was not the best. Don't get me wrong, the restaurant was nice and clean, but there was a lot of restaurant-unrelated items that they attempted to hide but they ended up being not quite well hidden, so they were kind of distracting.
