The optics of this experience were quite negative. I appreciate that this gentleman would've been seated before me if in theory he was placing an order before me, and that would've been fair. However, in this situation, staff allowed him to go straight to a table to claim it, without him actually ordering, and because I had stayed at the order kiosk as asked by the posted directions I was subsequently told to go elsewhere for a meal. It's a shame this place prioritizes pushiness over politeness.
