No idea why this place wasn't packed on a Saturday night! People should not be sleeping on this restaurant. We are from out of town, came in for an event and randomly picked Skyview Noodle. We had the regular (not spicy) beef noodle soup, Zha jiang men, crab rangoons, pork and Chinese chive dumplings and the wontons in red oil. I wish I had also gotten a spicy beef noodle soup to go and another order of the wontons in red oil - I'm going to be regretting that for a while. Food was great, service was friendly, I love that they brought each dish out as it was finished so it didn't sit around. I might get take out to bring home with me tomorrow. 17/10 don't sleep on this place!

First time trying their food, the service is definitely a 5, our waiter was very attentive, caring and nice. We got there when they first opened, our rolls took a while to be prepared and came out like 8-10 minutes apart. They were ok. The restaurant it's cute , and clean , there's street parking on the side. I took some food to go it was also ok. The prices were good :) and can't beat the good service.

The inside of the restaurant was very nice and we came around the evening on a weekday so not too crowded. The atmosphere is very calm and refreshing. We got the Spicy beef noodle w/ vegetables and the pancake beef rollup. Both were decent in flavor but quite expensive for the quality and portions. The beef noodle soup had small chunks of beef and not too much veggies either. I felt the meal was not very filling for $13 items. I will say I did enjoy my dining experience nonetheless, the inside was very well kept, and the food was prepared in a timely matter with friendly staff. I would say this restaurant is definitely worth a try!

The place is hard to find. The signage is small and the resturant is in the corner of a street in an old brick building. I knew it was right because there was a boba sign in front. There is a parking lot but I decided to use street parking ( which is easy to find in downtown Pittsburg) I came in by myself at 6 pm on a Friday night. There was only one person working at the time. It was starting to get busy with in person orders and online orders. The person was super busy.i decided to seat myself with an open table and menu available. I have been a longtime pittsburg resident. I thought it was interesting how I was the only Asian customer at the time ( everyone was either white or Hispanic) it made me skeptical how good the food would be. I got the spicy beef soup with noodles. This was a really good meal for a cold day. Perfectly spicy noodles for my taste. ( it is actually spicy unlike other places) the Chinese noodles were authentic. I could finish the whole meal comfortably in one sitting. For 14 dollars, it's more affordable than oakland chinatown or the noodle place in concord. I only give a four star because there was only one person working on a Friday and busy night. The person did a good job balancing all of it with ease. Since there was only one person working and multiple items unavailable, the service was slow and customers took a while what to pick if items are not available. Overall, it is a nice place to visit if you want to try authentic Asian spots in downtown Pittsburg

Fried Sesame Balls with red bean

I've been looking for sesame balls around the area and found Skyview through Yelp. I was so surprised to find beef pancake rolls (one of my favorite Taiwanese snacks) so of course I had to order that too. The sesame balls have a different outer texture than what I'm used to and the red bean looks a little different inside, but it's still tasty. If it weren't for the sesame balls, I probably wouldn't have found the pancake beef roll. Not knowing how the rolls would taste here, I'm so glad I ordered 2 because it ended up being really good! The pancake is nice and crispy on the outside, and the beef is tender and so flavorful. Will definitely order these again. The only thing I'm disappointed in are the fried spring rolls. For some reason, I thought it would be more like eggrolls with meat inside but it's just veggies. It's crispy on the outside and has a nice crunch but the inside is mushy so I wouldn't order this again and don't recommend ordering the fried spring rolls.

This was my second time here because I wanted to give it a second try since the first time was a bit unusual. The staff is nice and attentive and I love that it's in an old hotel. The food was underwhelming, we started off with some potstickers but it has a very familiar store bought taste. We tried their garlic noodles which were very salty and not very much garlic. We ordered the spring rolls, and I think that was my favorite from the experience came out very hot and paired very nicely with their sauce. We had an order of the combo chow mein and again very salty and was missing flavor. To drink I had the strawberry green tea iced very refreshing. Their portions are reasonable as well as the price but I was a bit disappointed during my visit.

    Zha Jiang Mian Noodle (4.5/5)
    Keara C.

A delicious and affordable local noodle spot! Plenty of street parking available for this restaurant. We came on a Friday afternoon and walked in with no wait. This is usually the case. It's a larger space, good for both small and large parties. The inside is quiet, with nice calming music. Although it is clean, the interior is not the most welcoming for dine-in guests, as most of their business is take-out so they have their take-out supplies covering some of the tables. We felt very comfortable however. We started with some hot tea and the wontons in red chili oil. The tea was great. The chili wontons (4/5) had great flavor but could be served a bit warmer. If you're expecting spicy, they're not spicy lol Still a favorite for me tho! I then ordered the (A4) Zha Jiang Mian (4.5/5) which I really enjoyed. It's a pork noodle dish without soup. It had really great flavor with plenty of noodles and plenty of meat. I could boost it up to a 5 with some added spice; which I will do next time! Rafael ordered the (A2) beef noodle with vegetables (2/5). He really loved the flavor of the broth (as did I) but he felt the meat did not seem very fresh. This is a dish we're willing to give another shot. The food was good overall, and the prices are super affordable. The service was fantastic as well. Our waitress was super friendly and made us feel like we were dining in her home. Skyview Noodle is a fantastic go-to spot with plenty of options with great flavor; but keep in mind that they are not a very busy dine-in restaurant and this can sometimes affect the food quality. Please give them a try nonetheless!

Hello guys stopped by this place for a quick bite, ordered the combo noodles, garlic cucumbers and B1 Dumplings. They are pretty good, a different Chinese flavor. I recommend checking it out. The decor is a little different bc it used to be some sort od bar possibly? but food is food! Servers are nice!

This is the only place in Pittsburg serving authentic Chinese/Taiwanese cuisine. It's a gem of a mom-and-pop that's located in a historic hotel building, which is really cool. Plenty of street parking since it's in downtown Pittsburg, which is already pretty quiet. It's owned by an older Taiwanese gentleman and his wife, who is from Henan province in western China. Thus, the menu is a mix of Taiwanese specialties (Taiwanese beef noodle soup, Lu Rou Fan, green onion pancake) and some Western Chinese dishes (like Yo Po Mian, etc). Super interesting place! I ended up striking a conversation with the owner in Mandarin. I've come here twice and would recommend: - Braised Pork over Rice 滷肉飯: Wow, eating this took me back to the night markets in Taipei. This is a classic Taiwanese braised pork dish. We only wish that it came with more meat. - Beef Noodle Soup: This is a delicious Taiwanese-style beef noodle soup, flavored with tomatoes, Chinese spices, and chili bean paste. - Pan-fried pork buns 生煎包: The dough was fluffy but it had a crispy bottom. Loved this! - Combo Chow Mien 什錦炒麵(刀削麵): This is a sleeper hit. The noodles were really garlicky, and you have the option of ordering it with knife shaved noodles, which have a nice bounce to them. It's a little too salty though. Given the neighborhood, it's a standout restaurant serving authentic Chinese and Taiwanese food that you can't find anywhere else in Pittsburg. Come and support this immigrant business!

My sister ended up ordering the chicken and shrimp noodles $16 I ordered salt and pepper chicken wings $12 garlic noodles $10 and fresh spring rolls with shrimp and pork $9. Our food came out pretty quick. The first that came out were my sister's chicken and shrimp noodles and my fresh spring rolls. I felt my sister noodles were an okay portion, however they only put 1 shrimp in here entire dish they were very stingy and should call it a chicken and shrimp dish very insulting and misleading. My fresh spring rolls were very flavorful and delicious, however the portion size is very small for the price. Our Salt and pepper wing came out with a side of salt and pepper sauce and sweet and sour sauce. We got 6 ting dinky wings for $12 definitely not at all worth the price and they sure didn't list how many we receive that's definitely my fault for not asking. I when I received my garlic noodles I was really bummed out on the amount I receive. It was on a small plate and the presentation was blah. It was good, but I would have never paid for what I received if u knew what I would have got. My sisters food portion was a little bigger than mine and I didn't even have meat in my dish. Overall, I wasn't impressed with that portions the prices are too high for what you get. I probably won't come back unless they fix the portion sizes for what they charge.

Not the fault of "Tokyo Ramen & BBQ". I walked in, even though from the outside it looked closed. A woman followed me in (she seemed possibly homeless. Not judging, just painting a picture). When I walked in, none of the tables had ANYTHING on them. And it looked kind of like they were out of business. I saw no employees. I waited. Then, I saw a man appear from behind the counter (he had been bent over doing something and I didn't see him at first). I wanted to try the food, because the reviews seemed pretty good, but I was sensing that I might regret it if I got locked in to this situation... The lady asked, "Are you open?"
