You get huge portions and the food tastes ok. The interior of this business is in dire need of a complete cleaning. Chairs and tables are sticky and you can see dirt on the chairs where customers have touched them. My shirt kept getting caught on the sticky stuff on the underside of the table. Just had the BBQ pork with veggies, steam rice, and fried rice. Way better then what panda express has to offer. It had been a good min. since I was last here being that I'm limited to what I can eat now a days, but I'll be stopping here more often now. This is a 5 star compare to any other fast food Chinese place I've been too. After reading all the reviews, I was excited to come here for lunch today. Once I entered the place, it started to slip. I asked the girl behind the counter the procedure. One item plus rice/chow main, or two items plus rice/chow main. 4 bucks and 5 bucks. Cheap. I ordered the two items plus rice. She scooped enough rice into the container to feed a small country, and then she piled up spicy chicken and teryaki chicken into the container. I think I got a whole chicken between the items. My food was ready in moments, I had a ton of food, and it cost me $6.24. So far so good. I was doin A-OK. I then sat to eat. After a little while, I was finished. It was just within the barest parameters of "okay." After I decided I was done eating, I think the chicken re-assembled itself and started moving around. If your in that area looking for a meal, I'd honestly suggest you go to the Mongolian BBQ around the corner, or even the Thai Cottage right next door to this place. Ordered from them through Grubhub. One of our orders had the wrong entree. Some type of chicken that came grey with a bad aftertaste. My broccoli beef was inedible. The beef was very tough and bland. The chow mein was overcooked and squishy. Orange chicken tasted like it was cooked hours ago and had been sitting under a heat lamp all day. We will not be ordering from here again. read more

Highly recommend this spot especially if you are craving some Chinese without blowing your wallet open. Think Panda Express upgraded slightly and for a cheaper price. That's Panda bowl, and that's all you really need to know! Generally the same options, plus a few extras. Fast service and just like Panda Express, you run through the line up of hot food and point out what you'd like for your combo. I found the orange chicken to actually taste like orange. The chow mien to have a better texture and consistency than Panda Express, and the pepper chicken green beans to be quite tasty thanks to all that msg. This place is all about fast food Chinese style. Most of their popular dishes are in steam trays that are so hot you can see the steam rise from them on a 90+ degree day = thumbs up! Their seafood dishes, which are posted on the light board, they will cook to order for you. I happened to order shrimp and broccoli with half fried rice and half low mien and I was kind of surprised how good at it was. With their fried rice, they use two different types of rice and not so much oil which gives it a nice texture paired with the freshly woked vegetables. Their shrimp were huge and not overly cooked and they seared some of the low mien noodles giving that dish a unique flavor. The entire meal was juicy and not greasy which I loved. The store was nice and clean even at the lunch rush. The few odd things I noticed about this place are the regular lemonade actually came out as pink lemonade in their fountain drink machine which is fine by me because I actually prefer the pink one, but it's misleading. Also if you want a fortune or almond cookie or a bag of crunchy noodles, it's not included and you must buy them separate from your meal. And they don't automatically give you soy sauce packets with your to-go order either. And no bathrooms. After reading the other reviews I was really excited to try Panda Bowl. I had the orange chicken with fried rice and my mom had broccoli beef and kung pao chicken with the chow mein. Maybe we went there on a bad night, but my orange chicken had no flavor nor did the fried rice: which was basically white rice with a few frozen vegetables thrown in there. I had about 3 bites of my food and I really couldn't eat anymore. My mom liked her food a little more only after adding other seasoning to it; she too only ate a small portion of her food. We ended up throwing the rest of our food away, something I don't normally do. The only reason I gave Panda Bowl 2 stars instead of 1 is because they have cheap prices. I would like to think I went on a bad night but unfortunately for them, I won't be giving them a second chance. read more

We just happened to be in the area and wanted a chinese food. The prices here are inexpensive. We got a two item combo with rice/chow mein for under $6. You can't get that at Panda Express. Portions here are more generous than Panda Express. I got the BBQ pork and the orange chicken. The BBQ pork was real tasty and lean, and I liked it that they sliced the BBQ for me. Panda Express tends to give me big chunky slices with a lot of fat on it. The orange chicken was rather tasty with real orange flavor to it. There are other choices from the hot trays or you can you can have food cooked to order from their menu. This place is a nice change from Panda Express and a lot cheaper! read more

If you want a quick fix for cheap semi good chinese food with a big portion size then this is the place to go too. Sitting at the tables means you're looking at the butts of people in line at the counter, as this location is cramped. This is a typical "A and B Combo" type place, with food pre-made in trays under heat lamps, although you can order items cooked-to-order. This means that quality varies widely; food that sat out for a while won't taste as good as food that's just been stocked. (Dry chicken anyone?) Overall, it's not bad, though; just go during peak hours when they're constantly refreshing the trays.
