I can always count on this place to be open on Xmas day. They opened at 11am and I was able to place my order by phone and pick it up very quickly. I was able to deliver food to a family and I'm so thankful that place does not disappoint.

I've been wanting to try Phil's for a while and I am sure glad I finally made it there…read more I met a friend for dinner early - like 3:30 early. The restaurant is quaint with outside seating and a cool saloon type atmosphere in the bar. The menu offers a variety of apps, salads, main entrees and flavors. My friend and I ordered the meat loaf. Upon arrival the slab was a healthy size, sitting on a bed of mashed potatoes and topped with curly onion rings. It did not disappoint. We followed our dinner with their combo cobbler. Yum. Here's the thing, our visit began at 3:30 and I believe we left at 7:30! Phil and staff came by appropriately to check on refills, etc but never "encouraged" us to be on our way. If you haven't tried Phil's you should do so. Food choices and food itself were excellent. Prices are reasonable (there's a cash price vs credit price) and you'll feel like you're part of their family.

We came on Wednesday, May 6 during their happy hour when hardly anyone was in there. Phil was our bartender and he's great! It was now 5pm and another bartender was clocking in. We asked to close out. Our tab was around $50. When I got the check back to sign it was $61. We had been charged $9 for someone else's glass of wine. Ok fine not a big deal we caught it and Phil refunded us $9 cash right then and there. I handed Phil a $20 bill for tip to say thank you (on a $50 tab) and he put it in the staff tip jar. We signed our receipt saying $61 (put "cash" in the tip line) and left. Now here's my issue, when my credit card statement posted it now says $71. So someone took an extra $10! I have worked in the restaurant industry over 13 years and tip fraud is not ok. I tipped you guys in cash and someone took more! I called on 5/8 and left a voicemail. And then called on 5/13 and actually spoke to someone quickly and they said they would call me back, but no one called me back! It's a small business and I know Phil is working hard to make his place great so I know it's not Phil. But hey Phil, check your employees. This isn't cool and the only reason for this review is because I tried twice to solve this issue over the phone. For future patrons, please double check your receipts as well as your credit card statements!!!

However, we were surprised by the pricing for what is essentially a takeout operation: $28 for a steak sandwich, $24 for a chicken sandwich, $24 for a breakfast burrito, $17 for bread and butter, and $9 for a cookie--all with a required 18% gratuity. We hoped the quality of the food would justify the cost, but unfortunately, it did not. After waiting a long time for our order, we finally sat down to eat, only to be very disappointed. * The Fries: These were thick, over-seasoned, and over-fried potato wedges. * The Steak Sandwich: Consisting only of steak and onion, it was incredibly dry and unappealing. * The Burrito: Entirely bland and lacked flavor with eggs and over fried bacon bits and potatoes * The Coffee: Even the iced lattes at the coffee shack were bad - tasted very milky with very little espresso and warm. Our mocha latte was horrible as the chocolate powder was not mixed well, clumpy on the bottom of the cup The meal felt greasy and unhealthy, and despite being hungry, we couldn't even finish half of it. The food was absolutely disgusting. We threw everything in the trash bin. I wouldn't recommend this spot and certainly won't be returning. It felt very much like a one time money grab as no one in our family will be revisiting this place. Even Jack in the Box would be better.

We ordered the MEGAFEAST, which feeds 12, but since we were having 15 guests, we added a bit more to the order. It truly was a feast, and everything was delicious !! The order also included their breadsticks, lemon garlic chicken, BBQ tri-trip, tri-tip with pepper gorgonzola sauce, baby back ribs, rigatoni with pesto sauce, mashed potatoes with garlic pieces and cheese, as well as mac 'n cheese. We also added 2 cheese pizzas, and for dessert, we added Stonefire's carrot cake and cheesecake. (Neither the pizza nor desserts were part of the initial order.) All the guests loved the food, and there was enough left over to send "doggie bags" home with everyone. We paid enough to qualify for Stonefire to deliver AND set up the food, which was fabulous. They showed up exactly when we asked. They brought plates, utensils, and LOADS of serving pieces. We wanted for nothing !! I'm not going to lie... it was costly, BUT it was worth it. I had out-of-town family visiting, but thanks to Stonefire, I didn't have to lift a finger or be removed from any festivities because they did it all for us. It was worth EVERY dollar we paid. I'd surely do it again !

Olives were hand stuffed not out of a jar and a bottle of Caymus conundrum and a Coors light draft. Now to the food. We started with the crispy calamari and rustic cheddar biscuits. The calamari were indeed crispy and well-seasoned with salt and pepper and served with a good cocktail sauce and a spicy aioli. The cheddar biscuits were elevated with a great honey thyme butter. The Inside Out Quesadilla was next level. Crispy, loaded, and packed with flavor in every bite. It's not your typical quesadilla--it's elevated comfort food done right, with the perfect texture and just the right amount of richness. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps were fresh, clean, and incredibly well-balanced. Great crunch, flavorful chicken, and that satisfying mix of savory and slightly sweet that keeps you going back for another wrap. And the Honey Feta Dip... easily a standout. That sweet-and-salty combo was addictive. Creamy, rich, and perfectly paired with what they serve alongside it--honestly one of those dishes you end up talking about after you leave. But what really took this visit over the top was the service. Our server, Chris, was outstanding--attentive without hovering, genuinely friendly, and clearly knew the menu inside and out. You can tell when someone actually cares about your experience, and Chris absolutely did. On top of that, the manager David came by and made a point to check-in since he heard it was our first time, which says a lot about how the place is run.
