She only picks up a shift here and there these days, and tonight she wasn't working at all. She was sitting at the table having dinner with my wife and me. That tells you what kind of place this is. You don't become part of a restaurant's family by accident. I had the ribeye. Perfect. We grabbed a bottle of chardonnay from next door, which is one of the great small pleasures in life. The giant portions kind of made up for the prices. The Cesar salad and ribeye were good. But again, the fact that they were served in to-go containers and with no table service made the prices feel like a bit much. The outdoor ambience was pretty nice until- the wasps! There were SO MANY WASPS. We moved tables literally three times and could not get away from them so we eventually to pack up our food and leave. I know there's not much they can do about the wasps but they should at least let people eat inside if the problem is that bad. Overall kinda bummed. Been waiting to go for years and it's like they're doing what they can to charge the most for doing the bare minimum. Wish I could say I'll come back some time when their indoor seating is open, but I really don't think the food is worth the price.

They should be really glad to have her as the first person guests meet because she sets such a great tone for the entire experience. They didn't have a good drink selection at all. It was fancy juices and a small glass bottle of Diet Coke. I would've preferred a big glass of ice water or a fountain Coke Zero. Let's talk about the seating and order pickup. We had to sit inside in an alcove. We had a big group of 6 people, and it was right next to the kitchen. There wasn't much room there. On each table is a QR code to either order or just to claim your table for your order. It's not obvious how to do this. If you forget to connect your table to your order, you will miss your order, and it happened to one of us. Food was good, and people enjoyed it. There is just too much tech to have lunch.
