Neighborly is such a great concept. I love that you can have multiple chef-driven food options in one location, making it easy for everyone to find something they love. I had the miso salmon bowl from Social Monk, and it was so yummy. What stood out to me was how layered the flavors were -- every part of the bowl came together so well. I didn't get the name of the female staff member who greets you when you walk in, but she is always so friendly, positive, and welcoming. They should be really glad to have her as the first person guests meet because she sets such a great tone for the entire experience. What a strange concept of a place, but the food was good. I hate all kiosk ordering if there are too many steps because it takes FOREVER to browse a menu AND order. There was no lobby to really just browse the menu before diving in. The front is trying to sell you things, and there was a greeter pushing menus at us. It was very overwhelming. I ordered a BBQ chicken burger, and that was really tasty. I've never had a chicken patty like this before, and it wasn't dry like I thought it might be. They didn't have a good drink selection at all. It was fancy juices and a small glass bottle of Diet Coke. I would've preferred a big glass of ice water or a fountain Coke Zero. Let's talk about the seating and order pickup. We had to sit inside in an alcove. We had a big group of 6 people, and it was right next to the kitchen. There wasn't much room there. On each table is a QR code to either order or just to claim your table for your order. It's not obvious how to do this. If you forget to connect your table to your order, you will miss your order, and it happened to one of us. Food was good, and people enjoyed it. There is just too much tech to have lunch. Came with the kids and my parents who wanted to take us out for our recent anniversary. We ordered at the kiosk. My $5 off welcome coupon didn't work even though it was entered twice. A manager said he would take our order on his register and manually apply the coupon. We ordered kids pepperoni pizza (requested half cheese/half pepp), 2 Chinese chicken salads with dressing on the side (one sub lettuce for arugula), mezze bowl with chicken thigh, and orange chicken (no green onions) with small rice. Orders were brought out 15-20 minutes later. Orange chicken came out with green onions so the offered to remake it and let us keep the one brought out. Everything came out hot! My kids devoured the orange chicken so it was great that they let us keep the first one bc they were starving and picked out the ones that didn't have green onions. We sat outside in the patio. It was a hot day but the weather was mild under the umbrellas. Servers were attentive and responded to requests like extra napkins and plates as well as extras carrots and salad crunchiest. Single bathrooms are plentiful too. Bonus: We got to see/talk with former manager Mike who was visiting, and Kelly who is a trainer. Such a cute and aesthetic spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's an aesthetic food hall with a variety of restaurants to choose from. Ordered through the self-kiosk and got the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, Gaby's Caesar Avocado Wrap, and House Meatballs. Unfortunately, they were out of the meatballs by 2:30 PM, but they offered us the Chicken Parm instead. Everything we tried was delicious and flavorful, but the Chicken Parm was definitely our favorite. It was juicy, filling, and the perfect breading-to-chicken ratio. Portions were also generous. Over two days, we tried the salmon, chicken wrap, spicy wonton, steamed broccoli, Ceasar salad, and pepperoni pizza with arugula with pesto and pepperoni ranch dipping sauces. My friend gave me a few meals from this spot and they were delicious. They were Asian meals. I tried a salmon teriyaki dish with broccoli, which was perfection. It was definitely my favorite. I love that every visit to Neighborly gives you the chance to try something different since there are four different restaurants all in one place. One thing I really appreciated was how welcoming the experience was from the moment we walked in. They have menus available near the entrance, and the host asked if it was our first time or if we had visited before. I thought that was a great touch because it helps first-time guests feel more comfortable. After that, you order at a kiosk, which I actually enjoyed. It gives you time to look through the menu and decide without feeling rushed while someone is waiting to take your order. The seating options are great. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor patio is especially beautiful with lots of greenery, making it a relaxing place to enjoy your meal. The indoor dining area can get a little loud, but that's to be expected in a busy restaurant. During our visit, Mo was checking on guests, and he was incredibly kind. Even though you don't have one dedicated server, he stopped by to clear our plates and asked how everything was. I had decided to try something new, and while it just wasn't my personal preference, I really appreciated that he took the time to check in. As a thoughtful gesture, they even gave me a voucher to use on my next visit. I really appreciated Mo's attentiveness and outstanding customer service. That level of hospitality definitely makes me want to come back. One thing to keep in mind is that parking can be a little limited during peak hours since the lot is shared with other businesses. We love this place! One of our go-to lunch places. We put the order in online and do counter pick up. The staff are so nice and the service is excellent. For how much food you get, the prices are also very reasonable. And the quality of the food is excellent. Our favorite plates are chicken pesto sandwich, waffle fries, drunken noodles, and any salad. Every dish is delicious. We have yet to have anything we don't enjoy! Today, we picked up our order and when we got home realized we didn't have the waffle fries. Today my mom and I went to the Neighborly in Westlake Village. The outside patio is lovely and we enjoyed sitting under an umbrella in the shade on this warm, sunny day. I wish I had discovered this spot sooner! After a gym session, I was trying to decide what to eat and stumbled across Neighborly and I'm so glad I did! Walking in, I honestly felt like a little kid in awe, just taking everything in. There's so much going on, yet it all feels so organized and intentional. The atmosphere alone makes you want to stay a while. The staff truly define great customer service. They were all super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I was so excited looking at the menu, I genuinely wanted to try everything. For this visit, I went with Gaby's caesar avocado wrap and a side of waffle fries to go. While I was waiting for my order, the girl at the counter went out of her way to offer us water and brought it over herself, which was such a thoughtful touch. My friend and I went to Neighborly and loved it! It's an elevated food hall or ghost kitchen, whatever you want to call this foodie wonderland in Woodland HIlls. Each restaurant that lives within Neighborly actually handles their own cooking but is one kitchen, so it doesn't neatly fit under either more common label, especially as the food is made to order. It's more Virtual Food Hall. It's a really nice space that not only has all those delicious made-to-order options, but a marketplace, as well. Found at the Promenade at Westlake Village, there is a nice big parking lot. Plus they have a bunch of beautiful patio seating that turns magical at night thanks to evening lights strewn about. There are a few tables inside with the aforementioned mini-market, as well. You'll not just find fancy food items pre-made & refrigerated, drinks & dry goods, but some cookbooks, seasonal gifts like ghost candles at halloween, even a Neighborly branded hat. You order at the kiosks then need to hang around for them to call your name. For some reason they thought they bring things to the tables, so don't miss your name being called & your food sitting like we did. Such a pretty space, inside and out! Neighborly has been on my list of places to try and it did not disappoint! This little food hall is a great way to bring some of the tastes of LA to the Conejo Valley. It's got a fun vibe inside. You order from electronic kiosks. Limited indoor seating but there are a few tables. Outdoor seating does have heat lamps. Once you order and find a seat, you scan the code on your table and put in your receipt number so they know where to bring it. My husband and I tried Mini Kabob. We had always wanted to go to the original Glendale location and it's great we have this closeby. We tried few options... the original MK wrap with beef and pork ($15.50) the classic cheeseburger wrap ($15.50) and dip duo ($6.50). All of them delicious but the star was definitely the dip duo. Their hummus was amazing! I love all the chips and lavash it came with too. The MK wrap had good flavor. The cheeseburger wrap is more of a simple less spicy taste but I enjoyed it too. I also thought the price point was good for the amount of food you got too. Overall I really enjoyed our meal here. Looking forward to trying more options! read more

Chicken thigh kebob plate was great too, nothing missed. Ordering is at a kiosk which is easy. However if you're dining in, make sure to scan the QR code on your table after you sit down or they won't know to bring your food out. Good food, nice outdoor dining. On November 10th, I took my mom, daughter, cousin and grandma to Neighborly in Westlake Village where my brother Henry Urías was a chef. We were waiting for him to come to work because he was going to cook for us. Sadly he had a motorcycle accident on the 23 fwy and never made it to work that day. I made this post to thank Neighborly - Curated Food Hall for the incredible kindness you showed us recently. Not only did this restaurant make a custom chef coat for his open viewing but they closed their restaurant early to hold a reception for my family, covered our bill, and shared beautiful stories and pictures with us. This restaurant went above and beyond what most employers would do for the passing of a loved one. They wrote my mother and I handmade letters and donated to us for funeral costs. The love this restaurant has poured over us since his passing is overwhelming and I've cried tears of joy because of all the beautiful people that work there and all they've done from owners to cooks. In a time of such profound sadness, your thoughtful gesture provided immense comfort and showed such beautiful humanity. It made a difficult day so much easier and created a cherished memory of the love and support that surrounds us. Thank you for going above and beyond; your compassion truly made a difference. On Wednesday, December 10th we will be having dinner there at 6pm for his one month anniversary of his passing and supporting this lovely business every 10th of the month from now on. This is my favorite neighborhood restaurant because there are five different restaurants you can choose from and they are all delicious and offer a lot of variety. Some of my favorites are the Bensonhurst Pizza, the Caesar salad ( there are crushed croutons instead of cubed, which are homemade and absolutely delicious ) & the mediterranean plates are top notch. I am not writing this as a dig, we love Neighborly, I just more so wanted the incident to be known because I believe it exceeded past normal cross contamination that's usually expected in restaurants and hope it won't happen again. My partner and I have been on a Neighborly kick lately and it's been so good consistently. However, today at lunch was the dreaded nightmare for vegetarians and vegans (I have been a vegetarian for over 20 years). We ordered just the regular green beans (in which the ingredients are literally only ginger and garlic oil, NO MEAT in sight) from the Social Monk and as we kept eating all these brown pieces started coming up. I thought maybe some mushrooms or something? But there was enough of it emerging to ask about it and It turned out there were chunks and pieces of beef all throughout the green beans under the top layer (where none was visible) that I had just completely consumed. I REALLY hope I didn't consume any, but I was eating multiple green beans at a time with a fork and I hope my fork didn't pick any of it up. I should have taken a picture because it wasn't just like one little piece, there was a lot of pieces of meat hidden in this pure vegetable dish. Those who don't eat meat don't eat it for a number of reasons, varying from religious beliefs, diet, illness, ethics, and more, so it definitely wasn't a nice surprise they made a vegetarian dish with chunks and bits of beef in it. They offered to make us new green beans but we passed. I was super grossed out and we were finished eating at that point anyways. Accidents happen of course, but when it comes to food, this wasn't just a little cross contamination...it became a vegetarian diet violation in a dish you would never expect meat to be in. Sweet staff though! And usually good food! We will be returning. But I just wanted to voice this because it didn't feel resolved. read more

Great place with something for everyone! "You only get once chance to make a first impression" & this place made a lasting impression! Food & service 10 out of 10! This is cute little space with 5 different menus to choose from. I tried Social Monk which is Asian inspired. The space inside was smaller than the patio but still had a good amount of seating options. Patio is dog friendly. Great natural lighting & very clean. You can place your order with a touch screen or a person whatever you prefer. You can grab your drinks from the little self serve market, including caned alcoholic beverages, or water cups are available. -Beef Chow Mein- Good sized portion & well balanced with all the ingredients. The noodles were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of chew to them without feeling like it was over/under cooked. The vegetables were crisp & added a great texture. The sauce had a good consistency & was mildly spicy, that did not overtake take the meal, which added a great flavor to the dish. The beef was cooked perfectly. Soft, tender, & lean so there were no chewy bits of fat to try to avoid. -Service was top notch! Staff was there upon entry to explain what they are about & helped guide us through the ordering process. Staff is constantly present throughout both spaces making sure things are cleaned promptly & made it a point to be vigilant in case a guest needed something. I love that they took the idea of a ghost kitchen but included market items that you can't get at a regular grocery store. It's so fun to just walk through the place and look at everything. I chose to eat here for lunch because they now have Mini Kabob, which is a well-known hole in the wall restaurant run by a small family in Glendale. I didn't get to try their chicken thigh plate so I was happy to be able to try it here in Thousand Oaks and let me tell you, it absolutely blew me away. I was skeptical with the concept of Neighborly especially considering the tucked away location in the WLV Promenade. However, the couple of times I've been here, the food has been fantastic and the customer service is amazing! For those looking for a fast/casual dining experience but still want quality, great tasting meals, Neighborly is the place for you. The variety of menus (and items) should satisfy almost anyone in your group. I've enjoyed the Thai chicken with a side of chow mein which was fresh and flavorful. I've also had the opportunity to have the pizza from the Cheese Shop as well. That pizza is as good as any specialty pizza place like Prince Street. The pepperoni cups were generous to say the least and the pepperoni ranch is a savory delight to dunk into. Even with the praise for the food items, I am thoroughly impressed with the awesome customer service they provide. We are always greeted warmly and everyone is so helpful. I've always found the location very clean to boot. I'm sure the word is out on Neighborly but in case you need more encouragement to give this place a try, here's your nudge. read more
