Stopped by this pizzeria recently and had a solid experience overall. The food wasn't the best I've ever had, but it definitely wasn't bad by any means. I ordered the eggplant parm sandwich and it was made well. Service was fast about 10 minutes,. I'd heard great things about their Jersey slices, but unfortunately they were sold out by the time I arrived. Still, it seems like a popular spot for a reason, and I'd be open to coming back to try the pizza next time. read more

Have been back to this establishment for many years after a bad experience the owner Joe. I figured enough time passed that I could go back. Well I should have known to trusts my own judgement. Ordered the Brooklyn Pie, which I know takes an hour to make because of the dough. Was told to arrive at 5:30pm. I showed up at 5:30pm (as directed) and the owner Joe said 5 more minutes, okay, not a big deal. Well, 15 minutes went by and Pizza comes out. Incredible food! We recently moved to the area and have been searching for great Italian food. Found it!!! Panatieri's Pizza and Pasta is that place. We were there twice the first week we tried it. We've been back weekly ever since. Tried the pizza with fried eggplant and it was out of this world good! We eventually tried other items like a meatball sub and eggplant rolllatini, and the daily soups. The soup tonight was cream of mushroom and it literally was the best soup I ever ate! I love Panatieri's Pizza in Flemington. The food is tasty and reminds me of the Pizza in Madison where I grew up and a significant part of the population (and population making pizza there) is first, second or third generation Italian. They love their food, love sharing it with others and are very warm and friendly with a ready smile whenever we pick up, have a delivery or sit down. Their menu has quite the variety and everything I have had on it is delicious. The pizza might be fantastic. I'll never know since I refuse to eat slices that are touched by dirty fingers that are also touching money. When I asked for my slices to be put in the oven using tongs or a utensil, I was told "that's just how we do it." That's a nope for me. We love Panatieri's - go there at least once a week for pizza or to order dinners. There specially pizza is amazing, we always love the Buffalo chicken and the chicken bacon ranch. Not only is their pizza good but their service is amazing. It is a true family business and you feel like family when you go there. Was excited to support Panatieri's on the Grand Reopening. Although they remained open during the most difficult of times, they had closed the sit down restaurant part of the business. So, we were so excited for the reopening, thinking it would be a family sit down Pizza and Pasta restaurant, that it once was. Instead, there are a few tables against the wall. Just the right amount of seating, to sit while waiting to take your order to go. Although disappointing, not the end of the world. My one star comes from the pizza itself. The pizza was paper thin (not thin, but paper thin) on one side, and thin on the other. Undercooked, with too much cheese and sauce, that I couldn't hold the slice without all the cheese and sauce sliding into a hot gooey mess on the pizza pan. I wish them well, and commend them for staying open during those difficult times. I am sure that the regulars are happy, as they should be; this just isn't the pizza pie for me. read more

Just had the Brooklyn and Jersey slices and Hot Damn (!) were they good! Brooklyn was savory crunchy heaven...a quintessential celebration of excellent sauce while the Jersey was a little spicy with a bit of sweet added to the amazing deep chunky Brooklyn sauce I hate sugar added to sauce and I usually write off sauce that has any sugar BUT This works and it works amazingly well ! My husband and I stopped in for lunch today and what a lovely update to the interior. My husband had 2 slices and I ordered a salad, please go light on the roasted peppers and grill the shrimp all the way through. My salad was perfect!! I've had pizza here before, and recently decided to sit down for dinner. My recent experience was a very positive one. Right off the bat, everyone who works here are extremely busy on a Friday night trying to fill pizza orders. They do try to be very attentive, friendly and eager to help. You can sit anywhere you want and someone will serve you. After receiving a menu, I got a feeling they focus heavily on lunches, since that is probably their money maker other than just pizza. They do have lunch and dinner options, of which you can order either at anytime. I had ordered the chicken parmesan dinner option and not the sandwich. The server was very friendly, took my drink order, and placed a small basked of rolls and butter(which seems to be their garlic knots, without the buttered garlic). I received my meal within a reasonable time. I didn't have high expectations at first, since I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised the food is actually pretty good. The Italian sauce seems to be homemade and isn't too acidic or spicy. It complimented the penne pasta and chicken parmesan dish I had quite well in fact. In my observations, with all the people working there on a Friday night, you can tell the people who work there are super busy but care very much about the establishment. read more

Panatieri's is a small, New Jersey chain that consistently put out good pizza. I've been to several other locations and have always enjoyed their food. The pizza I tried from this spot was the Margherita and the plain. The Margherita is quite good and features a crisp base and fluffy crust. The sauce was a tad plain, but it didn't take much away from the slice. The plain slice was good as well and had good ratios of sauce to cheese. The slice was a bit greasy, but that didn't bother me much. Overall, Panatieri's is a good option if you're hungry for a quick bite. read more

Panatieri's makes some of the best pizza in my experience. They provide all types of typical Italian restaurant dishes, as well as pizza. They'll also cater a part and deliver it. My favorite is the "Jersey" pizza. It's similar to Brooklyn but with a thinner crust and a spicy sauce. I strongly suggest you try it out. They'd be better served by locating to a more convenient location, but definitely worth the trip! read more

My family orders pizzas, and usually has them delivered. We've tried pizza from several places, but Panatieri's is easily the best in town! Besides the quality of the pizza itself, they also get credit for good delivery times. Whenever I've gone to pick up the pizza myself, the service has always been quick and friendly. I'm not much of a salad person myself, but the person who's big on veggies says their salads are great, too! When we first moved to this area 9 years ago, we asked around for the most recommended pizza places. This continues to be our favorite overall. It was called "Frank's" and we continue to call it so. :-) This Panatieri's is awesome! From their pizzas, pasta dishes, salads, subs, chicken, we've never had a bad meal. I especially love their cheesesteak and meatball parm subs. They've also catered a couple of our parties and did an excellent job. Joe is fabulous as is the rest of his staff. I don't understand how this isn't a 5 star! Their pizza is the best pizza I've found in NJ. I grew up in NJ so I know good pizza. I stop here every time I can when I'm visiting. I highly recommend trying the Brooklyn style. It is more breading and I usually don't like Sicilian or types like that but I'm telling you this is awesome. I think this is the best pizzeria in the flemington area. A plain pie is pretty simple and they got it right. Out of all of their locations, flemington hands down is the best of them all. I have tried some of their dinner dishes which were pretty good for a pizzeria. Overall I do think they are expensive but if I am in the mood for pizza, this is the place I go if I am in flemington. We're lucky locals of Flemington, a town with lots of good pizza and Italian food. Panatieri's is our family's favorite and we've never been disappointed. First, the pizza slice selection is the best in town -- they have many choices and a better variety than most places. My wife considers the salad 'Best in Town' hands down -- piled with a variety of vegetables and their awesome dressing. The kids like the pizza, but love the pasta - the penne vodka especially, which has a great sauce with sundried tomatoes, peas, and onions. For lunch, the strombolis are really good, the grilled veggie focaccia is delicious and the grilled chicken focaccia is the best chicken sandwich in town, IMO.
