Best pizza in the area in my opinion, and we've tried pretty much all of them. The crust is as devour-able as the rest. It tastes like a freshly baked crusty bread with flavor and not doughy tasting as others can be. Many combinations and they'll make whatever you want. I really enjoyed it. I gotta say, the prior pictures, descriptions, and accounts don't give them enough credit. The cheese slice was plenty crispy and had a pretty good flavor. Nothing special but nothing wrong with it at all. The Sicilian was also nice and crispy on the bottom and lots of cheese. If I had one complaint it is that the Sicilian only had stripes of sauce on the top (none below the cheese) and, as you can see in the photo, those stripes were pretty thin so could have used much, much more sauce on that. What little sauce there was tasted pretty good. Again, maybe they are benefitting from lower expectations on old reviews but I found it pretty good for getting a slice locally. read more

Got the whole cheesesteak with onions,pepper, mushrooms. Order of fries. And a slice of pepperoni pizza. Cheesesteak was huge but incredibly under seasoned. Very bland. I def do not recommend this sandwich from here. Couldn't finish it. Fries were also very bland. Hot but you could taste the older oil. I came by at around 11am. The pepperoni pizza however was good. Crispy and decently flavorful. Crust was on the thinner side which I personally prefer. Well balanced between the sauce and cheese. This pizza was absolutely scrumptious!! I only intended to go in to get a drink, but the array of pizza slices was calling my name and I couldn't refuse. Everyday is a good day for pizza. I saw one that looked like penne vodka pizza, but it was ziti pizza...I had to try it. The staff was very nice and I just took the slice to go. It was delicious. Great blend of flavors. I remember going there when I was much younger. It's been decades but still serves decent pizza. They have one of the best pizza from memory and again confirmed. I was traveling this area around dinner time hungry in the middle of snowstorm driving on RT78 back from PA. I was hoping for this place to opened, recalled from the memory of the past that this place exists, and I was happy to see this place still here. They had all kinds of pizza on the counter as well as a long list of menu items on the board. We decided to order tons of individual slices(it probably costed more, but each of us got to choose what each wanted to eat). Then we got fountain drinks. It's my first time here and the last time. I ordered chicken Marsala with angel hair and it comes with salad, which the salad was brown to begin with, they got me a new one after I mentioned it. The chicken was probably precooked and has a taste of egg washed. Utensils were wrap with napkins but the forks and knives was dirty. My bf had a meatball Sandwich, meatball was frozen and sauce is not fresh at all. Two sodas along with this meal and it was $38, which I don't think it worthy at all. Despite being chosen because of its convenient location right off of the 78, this place was absolutely what I needed after a long flight. The place had a few customers but was generally quiet and there was a Christmas movie (The Santa Clause!) playing on the tv. Pizza was available by the slice - I ordered at the counter and they heated up the slices and brought them out to a table. I got the cheese pizza (I'm vegetarian) and it was delicious! This review is more on the delivery than the Pizza shop itself. I ordered on the Slice app as I just moved to Annandale and wanted to try my local pizza places. The order came within 30 minutes. I ordered a large pepperoni pie. The delivery was supposed to be touchless so the delivery person just dropped my pizza box on the floor in front on my door and not on the mat that I specifically requested they do. I open the box and all the cheese and pepperoni were all in one corner of the box from being dropped on the ground. See photo! I was very disappointed at the carelessness of the delivery person. If you take Covid precautions seriously and want to avoid the anti-masker crowd, you may want to skip Dominick's. I've been a customer for years, and appreciated how the staff at Dominick's consistently wore masks during 2020, but the vibe has shifted noticeably in recent months. On my last few trips to pick up takeout, all staff and dining patrons were unmasked. As the only masked person in the establishment, I was surprised to notice unfriendly looks, whispering and stares. There are several other pizza places in town that may have a mix of masked/unmasked clientele, but don't have the same unwelcoming atmosphere. My Mom has been going here her whole life. She orders a mushroom pizza with extra sauce and sometimes a plain too every single week - sometimes pick up sometimes delivery. The pizza is always great. The calzones and strombolis are good too. Delivery has always been within the timeframe they've stated. I'm sure it can be difficult on a busy Friday night at dinner time. Good pizza. I had two slices -- one margherita and one pesto & tomato. The margherita was exactly right -- nice sauce, not too much fresh mozzarella, and plenty of fresh basil. The pesto slice was a little too cheesy and the tomatoes were a little underripe, but it still delicious. Hello, called ahead to Dominick's pizza tonight to order a plain large cheese pie. When I got there, they pulled a pie from under the counter. I mentioned to the girl that I wanted a fresh made pie. She said that it was. But that turned out to be a absolute total lie. The old pizza was re-heated and served to me: visibly old, warm, and completely awful. Diarrhea ensued after eating just one slice of Dominick's trash. My son's friend said that they have rats in the basement. I had previously dismissed that as teen talk...but now, I'm thinking they probably do. The worker there asked how the pizza was and I told it it wasn't good.
