They even got cheap with the lettuce!

Used to be my goto spot for sandwiches but they have really gone downhill recently. Look at the pics... does that look like a good sandwich to you? Sad!

Smh so good I was half done before taking a picture lol. I got the buffalo chicken slice of pizza, my guy got the veggie and hamburger slice of pizza and it was good. It was thin crust pizza and not burnt which is rare. The customer service was amazing and a nice and clean sit down area for more than 30 people. Great location coming from spruce run Park. Will come again. Specialty slice was I think $4.25 .. menu prices was good too.

I remember going there when I was much younger. It's been decades but still serves decent pizza. They have one of the best pizza from memory and again confirmed. I was traveling this area around dinner time hungry in the middle of snowstorm driving on RT78 back from PA. I was hoping for this place to opened, recalled from the memory of the past that this place exists, and I was happy to see this place still here. They had all kinds of pizza on the counter as well as a long list of menu items on the board. We decided to order tons of individual slices(it probably costed more, but each of us got to choose what each wanted to eat). Then we got fountain drinks. It was nice to be there and recalling old times.

Dropped pepperoni large pizza. Careless delivery driver even with tip! Sad.

Stopped here before the Clinton Christmas parade. Very nice, good food and the staff was busy but polite. I will definitely return!

Order pizza delivery. This is legitimate good pizzeria style pizza. I would order from here a lot if I was closer.

What a wonderful surprise! My husband and I stopped in for…read morelunch and immediately knew we had found a hidden gem. The moment you walk in, you are welcomed by a warm and intimate atmosphere that feels genuinely Italian, more like being invited into someone's home than visiting a restaurant. The food is exceptional, fresh, full of flavor, and made to order with obvious care. The husband and wife team prepares everything with such personal attention, and her homemade desserts are truly something special. Do not leave without trying one. This charming little spot has definitely earned a place on our list of places to return to. If you are looking for delicious Italian food served with heart, this is absolutely the place to go.

Food took an hour to be served. Only 1 person cooking and 1 person serving and handling all the take out orders. Everything was served in plastic takeout containers and cheap paper plates. Our bill was around $240 plus tip for 4 people for appetizers and dinner. It's BYOB. For this price point we should not be eating on plastic and buying bottled water. Arancini balls were good. Herb crusted salmon was plain in a pool of something. Pizza was not good. They really need to have china and glasses and more help on service. Service was disorganized and food was disappointing.

It is a fairly large space with plenty of seating and a bar and felt spacious and clean. Our server Fernanda was very friendly and checked in with us regularly to see how we were enjoying the food as it came out. I started with the duck salad and had the sauerbraten for my entree. The duck salad was tasty with a nice dressing, my only complaint is that it came with 4 thin slices of duck (maybe a bite each). It definitely could have benefited from more duck, especially for a $23 salad. That said, I liked the blue cheese, apples, and cranberries that went with it. My entree was definitely the largest of the group and came with two huge thick potato pancakes, a hefty serving of red cabbage and a good portion of beef. I really enjoyed the dish and was pretty full afterwards. I would absolutely recommend this dish and eat it again. For dessert we tried their special, a mango cake which was very light and pleasant albeit a bit sweet. I would suggest checking/asking about portion sizes before you order as some dishes are smaller than others (the grilled shrimp appetizer is only 4 shrimp, the clams casino is 5 small/medium clams and the crab cake entree is two small to medium sized crab cakes with no sides). So I can see how some people are frustrated with the portions based on the prices. That being said, I would absolutely recommend both the duck salad and sauerbraten.

Not terrible, but not great. We moved to Hunterdon county about a year ago and are finally getting…read moreout to explore the food scene. We live in Clinton Twp and The Clinton House was top of the list to visit. Appetizers: crab cake and portobello fries. Crab cake was excellent, all crab, no filler, loved the sauce. Portobello fries were fine, a little dry, but good sauce. Entrees: My husband got the French dip sandwich which I tried..it was okay. Definitely not bad but nothing special. Where the food really fell short was my entree. I got the shrimp and scallop risotto special. It came with two shrimp and "four" scallops, which was two scallops cut horizontally prior to cooking and seared. Scallops were complete rubber and tasted like ammonia, and the shrimp were extremely overcooked. The risotto itself was tasty and I would have it again, but for $40 it was not an acceptable dish. Our waitress was not rude, but not particularly friendly. We loved the vibe and decor of the restaurant, and other staff we interacted with were pleasant. I would not return here based on food quality and price point. I think the establishment is historic and beautiful, but could be improved greatly.
