As the flavor is good this visit ruined my night I was looking for real Chicago style deep dish pizza and saw they offered it here. Decided to give it a go and they only have Chicago pan. Seems like nobody knows the difference. Chicago deep dish pizza is cheese on the bottom layered with sauce on top. Definitely should not be advertised this way as this restaurant does not offer it. They only have Chicago pan which is thick crust and made like a normal slice. Also very limited seating and dirty looking inside.The bathrooms are locked so we couldn't wash our hands either. Nobody said goodbye or have a nice night as we left and I wasn't rude to them at all. read more

While their food is not bad and service is ok, I like the fact they deliver. That said, I don't think I will return. They new policy of add 3.99% (please just call it what is,4%) PER dollar when you don't pay cash. At the high end the fee for credit card transactions is 3.5% plus $0.30 per transaction. The most common fee for business, sometimes less based on number of transactions a month, is 2.5% with $0.30 per transaction. I am tired of businesses profiting on me using my credit card. Oh yea they get to write off a percentage of that as a business expense too. See ya Gabbys I am going somewhere else. read more

Gabby's Pizza is tucked into a busy strip mall that is adjacent to one of Flemington's many circles. The parking situation can be a bit dicey at peak hours. There aren't very many spots. Inside is a bit cramped, but the staff is friendly and service is quick. I decided to go with a plain slice and a margherita slice. The slices were average. The sauce and cheese taste great, but the base of the slices was fairly soft and didn't have great structure. The cheese slid around a lot too when taking a bite. I've tried all the pizza places in Flemington and this is our favorite. And by far the most reasonably priced. As great as the food is, the shining star of Gabbys is the lovely woman that man's the front. She is always there, double check's EVERYTHING and goes above and beyond to provide an exceptional customer experience. The Ingredients are fresh and perfectly prepared. The marinara is the BEST. The portions are generous. Our favs: the Chicago style pizza, vodka sauce, super fresh and flavorful sautéed vegetables, chicken Marsala. I'll be honest, takeout as a busy working mom is my favorite splurge, and with Gabbys we get fresh, flavorful home cooked meals that are worth the very fair price and then some. And did I mention the wonderful woman that answers the phone and does a million other things in the most friendly efficient way possible? What a scammer! you order for delivery - they give you an amount and charge your credit card like $5 more - and unless you notice - they get away with it . You then call and the owner argues around it with a bunch of bullshit reasons....ie oh theres a $1 delivery change (he originally told me there was none). My wife has loved Gabby's for years Mainly due to the fact that they are open until 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday nights, she works nights and often sleeps until 6-7PM on these weekend nights. She always orders a Pizza with Tomatoes and Basil (which I've grown tired of). When you make a special order, you get a freshly made Pizza and she has been satisfied with it. Saturday evening 10/22/22,10:08 PM we ordered a plain pizza (I'm tired of the Tomatoes and Basil) for pickup (restaurant hours were until 11:00 PM). She was supposed to pick up the Pizza and bring it home for us to enjoy; but I felt I should accompany her for the sake of her safety (world has gotten ugly). We arrived by 10;25pm and the restaurant was full of between 5 -10 men (no women) who were not eating; but appeared to be just hanging out. None of them had masks on and we had to squeeze through the Croud to get to the counter. They were speaking to each other in a fairly animated fashion (Saliva Flying About). This situation would have been very uncomfortable for my wife had I asked her to go alone, and it was uncomfortable and unhealthy for us both of us. When we got home it became obvious that the Pizza had been rewarmed and not fresh because it was burnt on the bottom, and it was barely warm (we live less then 10 min. from Gabby's). The pizza was overly salted, dried out and burnt. Besides the poor quality the Pizzaria/Man Cave was completely unacceptable. We will not be using them again. CUSTOMERS BEWARE! read more

If I could leave less than one star I would. I called an order for delivery and was told 30-45 minutes. Over an a half later still no food. When I called to inquire, the staff were so rude that I then proceeded to cancel my order. I explained that if I had known it would be over an hour and thirty minutes wait I wouldn't have ordered. They first refused to cancel the order and then told me they won't take any future orders. The customer service is appalling and they should be embarrassed of the way they handled the situation. Sunday we decided to go to Gabby's and order take out.....We ordered a lasagna dinner and a manicotti dinner. The lasagna had very little beef,,,my manicotti had layers of wide noodles and no ricotta...both entrees were flooded with a cover of mozzarella cheese. I have been ordering delivery from this restaurant several times a month for the past year. Tonight I placed an order and received phone calls that my address did not exist. I explained where I lived and mentioned that I receive deliveries from this establishment several times a month. I then had to argue with the delivery person that I indeed lived where I said and received several delivieries a month.
