Really like this place. Ok.. it's small, but family friendly, down to earth owners, food portions very generous and tasted great. Looking forward to them having more hours as they're currently only open a few hours at night

My wife and I drive past this place everyday but we've never really had a chance to drop by. We finally did it and we were impressed with the service and the food. We ordered Tofu Phad Thai, crispy Pork Belly with Chinese Broccoli, Egg Fried Rice and Steamed Gyoza. We've tried 3 Thai restaurants here in the area and Pan Tang has the best food and service. Very friendly staff. You can't really tell from the outside but the ambiance inside is very nice. You should stop by. We highly recommend them. The best Thai Food place in the Foothills

A plus home style food. Been here a few times and it never fails. Top shelf service. Great guys! As always thank you!

We recently moved into the area and we were looking to lock into a reliable and excellent Thai…read morespot. ALAS! This place is fantastic. Superb food, a quirky, delightfully friendly staff and you can't go wrong whether you are eating in the restaurant or ordering for delivery or pick up. Consistent, delicious, and there is care and attention put into every dish. They definitely go the extra mile too. On a busy night, close to closing, we ordered a good round of food for pickup. One dish was missed. (They made it, but just didn't put it in our bag.) She hopped in her car and DROVE it to us. Brilliant. They are so sweet at this place and again, the food is just SUPER. There is a lot of love and care in this spot. You can see it on the walls of the restaurant and in the food. If you are in the Sunland-Tujunga area and are in the mood for some fantastic Thai food - GO GO GO!

The dining area looked haphazard and thrown together, but I've been to plenty of mom & pop places like that that served great food. I waited for a bit to finally be greeted by the "mom" part of the equation when she came out from the kitchen and whose shrug invited me to pick my table. Still ok. I ordered Thai Iced Tea and Pad Thai with shrimp for which there was a dollar up charge. I was nicely warned that the tea was sweet and made with milk in case I was allergic. There was a lot of attention paid to the salad that was pleasing to the eyes and palate. The dressing was light and the salad dressed well. Then the Pad Thai came out as a pile of congealed noodles and 3 shrimp. The shrimp tasted fine, but the noodles had no taste. I was really hoping for Thai flavors, but left still wanting Thai food.

Solid 3.5 (A-Ok)…read more This is a cute restaurant on Foothill, super close to Descanso Gardens. PARKING. There is a huge lot out back. A few spots on the street too. SEATING super comfy space inside with great views of the surrounding mountains. There are plenty of tables for bigger parties to push together. FOOD Lots of options for the vegetarians in your party. You can omit egg for some to be vegan. Adding Gluten to your dish will cost more than meat option? (-1 Star). Tasty dishes. Spice level is very good. Spicy = spicy. The recipes are a little on the sweeter side here. Overall nice flavors and well cooked greens. Blistered cherry tomatoes in Pad Kee Mao were excellent. PORTIONS are pretty small. **This was not a "lunch special". I finished the Thai iced tea in one long sip. (Small glass, filled with ice when tea was done) SERVICE Fantastic. Both servers that came to the table were super friendly and attentive. ** We were the only people in there until we got the check. One other patron was picking up an order to go. PRICE Perfect "date lunch" prices for the portions. The restaurant atmosphere and convenience close to Descanso Gardens makes it a great choice.

We wound up ordering salt and pepper popcorn chicken and some pork and cabbage dumplings and it was super tasty. The guy helping us was also super nice and made sure we got enough to fill our bellies. For all the food we ordered and it still only being 40ish bucks I felt that I got my money's worth here too. Overall, with how great the food was here, Burbank has another gem I would love to visit more often. Cheers!

Ok-- let me preface by saying that I rarely give 1 star to establishments. The reason for my rating…read moreis that I can, in no way, justify the price for the quality of the product. WAGYU FRIED NOODLES 5/10: These wagyu fried noodles were not bad. The noodle has a decent amount of flavor, the steak has a bit of a smokey flavor and it does add to the noodle dish. However, I would think that calling the steak "Wagyu" is a bit misleading. I would by no means call this Wagyu and the dish, in its entirety, is a bit underwhelming. BEEF DUMPLINGS 3/10: I have been to multiple Japanese restaurants that have served dumplings. I do have to say that these dumplings fall short in both texture and taste. The filling lacked seasoning and was a chewy meat ball inside a wrapper. The wrapper itself was a bit thick and was not soft. It was not the worst but I was extremely disappointed in the quality especially considering that they are roughly 16 dollars. WONTON IN CHICKEN SOUP 0/10: This was inedible. As someone who is a huge fan of wontons in chicken soup, or wonton soup, this was perhaps the worst soup I have tried, unfortunately. When I initially ordered it, I had hopes of it being a nice, warm, hearty soup to have after me and my partner ate the rest of the food. The broth was straight up sodium and left an unpleasant aftertaste that grabbed my tongue. The broth tasted artificial. When I told my partner that I couldn't eat it because it would irritate my tongue, he told me that he'd eat it instead and not to worry--he couldn't even eat it. He said that the wontons had a funky taste to them. Really disappointed. MUSHROOM DUMPLINGS? 2/10: These were meant to be chicken dumplings but they got our order wrong. I admit, I do not like mushrooms, so that is where most of my rating came from. However, the flavor of the dumplings was slightly unpleasant and my partner who does eat mushrooms agreed as well. SERVICE --/10: We got this through Postmates so this rating is strictly based on the food itself. I'd also like to note that they did not provide us with any dipping sauces for the dumplings. For 70 dollars, we were extremely disappointed.
