Last time I came it was super dry and had no taste basically and today they burned it not once, but twice and we just ended up eating it because we felt bad.. Came in on a week night n ordered the seafood stir fried noodles that had over cooked soggy noodles with shrimp n crab claws that had no solid meat in them so they were not fresh so had to throw it all away! First n last try at this place! The place is so small which had about 10 tables so packed together so there is not even enough space without getting bumped into by the servers while waiting for togo orders! Not sure how they can serve food that are not fresh especially seafood n can stay open??? On top of that they got bad service too! NO stars here for sure but had to rate 1 to post! read more

Spicy noodle soup is really good. Good food, good portion, good prices, good services. I wish they have bigger place so I can bring my whole family. Sweat sour pork was nice too. Trust me! This place is awesome!! Best Chinese Food Ever!!! All the food that my friends and I had were fresh and yummy~!! Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup (JJam Bbong) and Dumplings (Mandoo) are probably the best in California~ lol :) My friends and I stopped by Wok Holic and ordered Black Bean Paste Noodle (JJa Jang Myoen), Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup, Dumplings and Chow Mein. Everything was so good! The portions are amazing! Mr. Kook, the chef is very generous. He gave us Buy One Get One Free coupons since they just opened up the restaurant. I'll post those coupons soon so anyone who wants to try great Chinese food can get extra plate! By the way, I noticed that there was no space for tips on the credit card receipt. They said that they decided not to put it there so that people could just come and enjoy their food without worrying about tips. I thought that was nice of them. My first time here. I just walked in and they asked me how many? I said one and waiteress signals me to sit down as she separated a two part table as I am sitting down, " I said hello how are you?" Waiteress raises her arm and hand up and creates a stop signal with the palm in her hand as if I've gone too far or said too much for her to handle. I got up and turned around and left. This is probably one of my favorite places to eat jajangmyun and jambong. The portions and quality are different from the usual dishes I get. Also, I found the portion of noodles to be enjoyable because there was enough. The sweet and sour pork also had a lot of meat in it. Price is very fair. It's not the same Chinese food restaurant that used to be there before. it's now a cheap Korean owned hole in the wall that has extremely overpriced food. each item is $12.95 and it does not include side orders such as rice or chow mein. Also the Korean owned establishment is also very racist against non-Korean people visiting there considering dining at their restaurant. Also keep that in mind when you visit there pay attention if you feel that you might be getting discriminated against due to your race or ethnicity when you go there. read more

Sooo I went there again to get my family some food after work.. It wasn't as good as it used to be.. I always got the Jajang myun, spicy garlic fried shrimp and fried shrimp rice. This time i also wanted to try their Mongolian beef and I was surprised how bad everything was.. very disappointed in a regular customer. The shrimp was too fried like it's been fried then left out then refried.. the Mongolian beef looked like a pale brown (usually its dark brown due to sauces) with no flavoring and was overmasked by green onion. The fried rice bean sprout was almost spoiled and cooked with the rice T-T the jajang myun was ok. I'm sooo disappointed since I loved the food here but I can see it's starting to crumble... Ty for the complimentary dumplings it was the only good food I received but now I can see why they put it in for free.. sigh.. read more

OK so I never leave a bad review or even update one unless it's just an awful experience. Yes this place has great food. You get two stars for that. The service yet again was so god awful, we asked for a pair of chopsticks, there were 3 of us only two place settings. The lady gave us a death stare and no this wasn't the typical Asian lady death stare but a you're bothering me death stare. The food is pretty good here!!! They give you HUGE portions with delicious food, which makes it worth it. However the space is a little too cramped for comfort (which is understandable) and if you get to go rather than dine in the portion is probably 1/3-1/4 of what it usually is for the same price. The filled with fresh seafood ingredients, chewy delicious noodles, hugmously large portions at a very affordable price. The staff is very unusually friendly for a korean place. Small restaurant but the food is pretty great. The jjajangmyeon was above average and the bokeum jjampong was particularly of note. Would also recommend the yang jang pi and the tangsuyuk. The portions for these dishes are of good size so you don't need to worry about that either. An overall great lunch spot for an understandable price for the quality of food you get. read more

Anyone rating less than five stars for (JJam BBong) and (JJajang Myun) here should not provide inputs to Yelp. You disservice us. Probably one of the best tasting Korean Chinese restaurants in Orange County. Their (Tang Soo Yook), sweet and sour fried pork dish, was also very good and was enough for four people to share, provided that every one is ordering their own noodle dish. I will try other dishes when I visit next time. About the service. They are as good as any Korean Chinese restaurant. It's just cultural differences. Just imagine you are in Korea, you need to behave adequately for their customs and cultures. Those of you who were born here (like my kids) or came here when you are young from another country, you are expecting kiss ass services from servers as in American restaurants, and you are pissed off because you are not getting that. Respect these ladies. Treat them like your mom or your aunt. They are working hard, smart (probably more educated than you), and understand your needs way ahead. They are just not accustomed to ask you what you need. Therefore, you just politely ask for what you need and they will grant your wish.
