Wow their famous mudfish stew was very good. I didn't taste or smell any fishy taste and it was very hearty and tasty. Oh I was skeptical at first because I'm not used to eating foods that are "exotic" but after I tasted the mudfish stew I have to say that their food is very good. Their side dishes were also very good. Additionally, I tried their goat stew and it was very good as well. It did have a gamy taste to it so I don't think I would order it myself but I would recommend it for others. They serve alcohol like soju and beer. I would recommend going here. All of my family members and even my cousins who are in the younger generation really loved the stews as well.

It is an authentic Korean food place with daily break time between 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm. They close once they run out of ingredients daily.

Every time I eat the side dishes of this house, I think of the delicious meal that my mother carefully prepared for me.

Hangyang has been one of the must visit places ever since I found it about 15 years ago when I…read morevisited Anaheim for blizzcon. The place only serves a limited staple of Korean food but what they serve they do them so well that it's worth going just for that small menu. Over the years they expanded their menu but their staple imo is the galbi tang or beef bone soup. It comes with 2 pieces of large beef bones. The soup is delicious and is paired perfect with the mustard sauce. There are other delicious offering such as the thistle rice bowl. I'd say because of the limited menu everything is great. The parking lot can be packed especially in the weekend as all the church goes come by. Most of the clienteles are usually middle aged or older so you know they know what authentic Korean food is. The service is extremely efficient and very friendly. The place is clean just like most Korean restaurants. Nothing to complain about. Order the galbi tang and you'll be coming back.

The service was excellent and everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. I also appreciated that they provided disposable bibs to keep your clothes clean. My favorite dish was definitely the beef bibimbap. It was flavorful and delicious. I would absolutely come back if I'm in the area again for a satisfying meal :).

Mhat Korean is a casual low key authentic Korean restaurant in the area…read more I came with one other person on a Saturday and there was no wait and only one lady working. There was one other party in there with us. The service started off a little slow but it was well worth it. The menu includes casserole soups, stir fries, noodle dishes, and other house entrees. If you like seafood, Mhat is known for their mackerel and cod dishes. We wanted to try everything but ended up sharing their Bul Nak Jun Gol which was a bulgogi and octopus casserole soup. It came out in a hot pot with flames. It included marinated meats, udon noodles, veggies, in a sweet and savory soup base. It was served with banchan and rice. The dish listed that it was for 2 people but it can honestly feed up to 4. We had plenty of left overs. The flavors were complicated and delicious. It was perfect for that cold day. The lady working was really nice and helpful. She made sure to check on us and even helped us enjoy our food by cutting out the flame and making sure we were mixing it right. The pricing is super affordable. It was a great first time experience and I can't wait to come back and try their other dishes.

The bulgogi & octopus casserole soup was flavorful and hearty--perfect comfort food--and the gun man du were crispy and delicious. Portions were generous and the meal came out nice and hot. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the service felt a little on the serious side. The woman working there wasn't unfriendly, but definitely more no-nonsense. I also paid my bill with a credit card and left a cash tip on the table, but she didn't see it and came back to ask if I intended to leave a tip--which caught me off guard a bit. It wasn't a huge deal, but just something to note. Overall, I'd come back for the food--it's solid Korean comfort fare. Just be prepared for a more straightforward dining experience.
