Once he found out it was our first time there and that they were close to closing, he went above and beyond and accommodated us with not one, but TWO chicken sandwiches on the house for us to try. That level of kindness and hospitality honestly made our night. We ended up getting an amazing combo with shrimp, chicken, macaroni salad, two Spam musubi, two chicken sandwiches, and two drinks -- all for only $22!!! Such a great value for the amount and quality of food we received. Danny's energy alone made us want to come back. Great customer service goes a long way, and this place definitely left a positive impression on us!

We've been here a lot over the years since they opened, and we've never had an issue getting a lemonade refill with other employees. Never once. Maybe they were nice. Today, however, the employee at the front, Shien, told us they don't offer refills. She was in the back chatting away with another employee so maybe it was inconvenient for her to offer the refill as she would have to walk back to the front area, whatever might be. What made the experience especially frustrating for me was that I was using the opportunity to teach my son how to politely approach restaurant staff and ask for a refill himself. After being told no, he was embarrassed, and it turned what was supposed to be a positive learning experience into a disappointing one. As I walked over to ask for clarification, I noticed Shien and another employee looking in my direction, whispering, and laughing. I don't know if it was about me, but the timing and appearance didn't leave a good impression. If the restaurant has a new policy of not offering lemonade refills, that's completely their choice. I just think it should be communicated clearly at the time of purchase or posted on a sign, especially since their other drinks are refillable. Every other employee I've interacted with over the years has always been friendly and accommodating, which is one of the reasons we kept coming back. There are plenty of other dining options in the area, so unfortunately I don't plan on returning because of today's experience and a bad impression with the Shien girl. If my kids really wanted to eat here again and I saw the same employee working, I would definitely turn around and choose another place to eat.

The chicken in it was soooo tender. It almost felt like it melted in my mouth. The Thai fried rice was yummy as well. The chicken in the fried rice was a little dry but the flavors compensated. The pad Thai was delicious and I'm usually very picky with my pad Thais. The noodles were super soft and it had a solid tangy flavor to them. We arrived at 4:30pm when they just opened but they seemed to get the dishes out super fast. The service was super nice and attentive as well. A garlic pork dish which was tough and dry and a panang beef curry. The Ong Choi was tasty with what looked like peanuts or maybe beans as toppings. The Pad Su was a touch on the sweet side, but the curry on the panang beef is something I would put on top of white rice to add extra oomph. The service was quick and besides a little mistake in the ordering (no biggie) everything was fine.
