There was also crab roe on all of them which is a good sign. Each crab head had enough sauce and the crab bodies were definitely infused with flavor. There's a parking lot in the back that's pretty small, but there's never been an issue for us and it's conveniently by the back entrance of the restaurant. The workers are very sweet and attentive. This place is literally a hole in the wall place that you would never even think about coming to try. It's in a very ghetto building next to a liquor store with a dirty run down parking lot. Delicious Table however is a hidden gem within the million Korean food choices in the Buena Park area. You know the place is legit when literally 90% of the patrons are senior Korean auntie/uncles. What do you come here for? Quite literally for the Korean raw crab! This is one of the few places that specialize in this dish and it is super fresh and tasty here! You are given plastic gloves, a metal bowl for your scraps along with all your banchans. The crab is slightly sweet and savory and most are filled with crab roe/eggs that you pair with spoon fulls of rice. OMG the best bite if you love seafood! Yes you do have a risk of food poisoning as the HUGE sign warns you, EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK. But we've visited a handful of times and never had any issues. The other delicious items here are the BBQ soy marinated pork ribs either spicy or non-spicy. The meat is like super tender galbi-tang style pork ribs that is perfectly seasoned without being overly salty. Yes they are catering to the elder crowd so most of the food is more blank and less salty. They literally give you a salt/pepper shaker to season yourself. The ox beef soup with mixed meat is also a great choice for a filler item. It comes with a variety of sliced beef and tendon, and vermicelli. The broth itself is literally straight bone broth with no seasoning. You again need to add your own salt as the auntie will remind you. They do offer a variety of banchan and side items togo on the table/fridges in the back too. The service is great here as this place is a family owned business. They literally have the whole family working in the front and back. The auntie will come help serve your soups for large parties or cut the meat or explain how to eat if you don't know how. So happy to have found a place with authentic ganjang gejang (Korean soy marinated raw crab) in OC. The size of the crab is a little smaller compared to what you get in Ktown but the price here is only 1/3 of LA prices! The crabs are packed with flavor. It's a little fishy and definitely an acquired taste. In my fiancé's words: "it tastes like sea water". But that's the essence of ganjang gejang! For the perfect bite, I squeeze out the meat onto the rice and scoop up more marinade. You can also directly suck out the meat from the crab. My favorite part is when you mix rice into the roe-filled shells (second picture). We also got the spicy cold noodles (bibim naengmyun). This was SUPER flavorful. Stopped in here on a rainy night and ordered bossam and dweji galbi. I've had these items here before but maybe it was just and off night? It made me sad more than angry that I wasted almost more than half the food. The bossam was old at least the days before. Resteamed or boiled (reheated) to make it look fresh. Cracks in the lean part of the meat due to the dryness. Had a hologram effect to the meat like day old meats reheated do. Trust me I do t usually shy away from the glamour but the taste and smell was porky. The dweji galbi almost tasted like it was steamed too. No char to the meat no caramelization to the sugars. Weekday - Dinner Party of 4 Had a casual dinner with my family here and it was great. The restaurant seems a little short staffed for when there are a lot of customers, so show them a little patience if they seem busy. But the place feels cozy, typical ma's and pa's Korean restaurant kinda vibe. We had a few different entrées but the star of the show was Soy Sauce Marinated Raw Crab aka 간장게장. Many people seem to be coming here for that too. I had nothing to complain, the crabs tasted fresh and had plenty of meat inside. It was well marinated and the sauce wasn't too salty either. I think there's been a bit of a fad over these on the social media, my sister wanted to try it and she liked it very much. If you've never had it, I'd say the texture is a bit similar to "spicy tuna" you get at sushi or poke places, or sweet shrimp/amaebi but a bit more mushier, if you've tried those. If you want to "do it right", then you gotta take the upper shell of the crab, scoop some rice and the (soy) sauce into it, and mix it around like Bibimbap. I've also come here another time with a couple of my non-Korean friends, and they absolutely loved the food here. One of my all time favorite Korean food is 알탕(Fish Roe Soup/Stew). It has chunks of cooked Fish Roe and seafood and such. It's not fishy at all and if you like spicy soups, you'll love it. Maybe come here with a few people and order a few entrées and share it with everyone family style. FYI, anything that's like $30 something or $40 something is meant to be shared with the whole table. It's not an entrée for a single person. Traditionally Koreans eat a bowl of rice along with a bowl of soup and a ton of side dishes(aka Banchaan) and an entrée like that is something the whole table shares, so don't feel bad ordering one of those with maybe 1 or 2 more people and sharing it; think of it like ordering pizza for the whole table, but. you also got rolls(bread) as well. And if I'm correct, I don't think they charge for bowls of rice, so if you need more rice after finishing a bowl, try asking! Traditional Korean restaurants don't charge for rice; that'd be like charging people for rolls/bread at an American restaurant. read more

Not gonna lie - we were influenced by Chef David Changs recent reel on this place. Have been looking for a place outside of Koreantown (Crab House) to get this dish and jumped on the chance to try it in Buena Park. The place has an olde crowd and the owner ahjumma was super nice and cute. She mentioned that David Chang had recently visited and everyone has come in to order the crab the last few days. The red flag however in my mind was that the older crowd at the restaurant was all having stews and noodles. Nonetheless we came for crab so we ordered it! For 42.99, this is a steal of a deal. Huge plate with 4 crabs (more than enough for 2-3 people). The banchan was plentiful too. The marinade was not too salty and was delicious with the rice. The crabs are American Blue Crab (not the Korean ones imported which you'd get at Crab House in LA). There wasn't too much roe but it was still delicious - think quantity versus quality I guess. All in all, this is a great place in OC to get your craving in for marinated raw crab however if you can drive to LA (it's still worth it for the Korean one). But being that this is local, parking is easy, the ahjummas were super nice and attentive, this is still a great place. I'm looking forward to coming back to try some of their other dishes and will update our review then! read more

We ordered the bulgogi (marinated beef), galbi tang (short rib soup), mando guk (dumpling rice cake soup), naengmyeon (cold noodles), and haemul pajeon (seafood pancake). I especially enjoyed the seafood pancake and the cold noodles. The beef short rib in the galbi tang was not very soft, quite chewy, but had good flavor. The bulgogi here is a must order for those who hesitate with Korean food. The mando guk was subtle and filling. The kimchi is mild, not super sour or fermented, very fresh. The other banchan was great-- seaweed, cabbage kimchi, green onion kimchi, tofu, a salty spicy thick sauce, curry potatos, and fried zucchini. I just came back from spending two months in Seoul, so this took me right back. I would order the cold noodles and seafood pancake again. Not sure why this place doesn't have a higher rating. Sure, they aren't waiting on your hand and feet, but they are quick to respond and get you what you need. That is Korean culture. Celebrated a birthday recently. The marinated soy crab was good, the rest of the food was satisfactory. A bit overpriced. Service was decent, felt a little rushed at some points and out of place being the only foreign customers at the time. We also bought an extra to-go order which added ~$30 towards the bill. Table made a bit of a mess, and I understandably helped organize plates afterward to assist the servers. It was then when the lady ran outside to tell us that the tip was low, which I believed was fair with several underlying factors included and experience being a server. Not only did it seem disrespectful, but it also made it awkward. I don't know if she expected us to hand her more money or if it felt good to her to tell us that, but it was jarring to say the least. As a server, I would never in my mind do that to a customer, and I have been tipped less for more service than they provided. If it weren't for the confrontation, we might've returned in the future. This tiny shop serves a really great soy marinated raw crab! The crab was very fresh and the marinade was perfect. Not too salty. The set comes with rice, a side of soup, and side dishes. All the sides were tasty (except the broccoli) I did not like how messy it was. Even with gloves, the crab is messy and hard to handle. The crab smell lingers on your fingers so make sure to thoroughly wash your hands! I would suggest bringing better gloves, hand sanitizer, and breath mints. I wish the service was more attentive, but it's typical for older Korean restaurants to make you flag people down for service. The pricing is fair for what we received. This place is a hole in the wall (irl is on the side of the street) mom and pop restaurant. English isn't the best, but food is great! Prices went up from last time I went. It's now 4 crabs for $38 and feeds 2 people. What you get is deliciously marinated crabs with a lot of sides. The food comes packed with a bag of ice so it's stays fresh. Crab.. soo good! They're soy saucy with a slight citrus tingle (best I can describe). There's a lot of eggs in each piece, so each Bite is satisfying. Tips for takeout* - feel free to reuse the sauce and marinate some hard boiled eggs!! They'll come out soy saucy/seafoody. - use scissors! For the most part, the pieces are biteable with teeth. But for enamel protection, definitely have some scissors on hand for tougher shell bits. read more

Obviously, it's from the bottom of the pot ( at 11:20 am) or from the day before. I called the restaurant, and the lady sounded so unbothered and mechanical that it made me mad. She just said, "yees" and hung up on me. Anotjer time I ate a chicken stew and got major diarrhea. I also noticed several times that when I ordered galbitang, the waitress took a take out container oit from the fridge in the hall where they store pre-made foods for sale, reheats, and serves it. I didn't believe it at first, but the exact same thing happened next 2 times I ordered galbitang. After going to Crab House, I needed to find a place to satisfy my raw crab cravings as locally as possible. Delicious Table is located on a quiet street in Buena Park with ample parking. You can definitely tell even before walking in that this is place is older and authentic feeling. The ahjummas don't need to waste time with fluffy servicing, they ask you what you want and they give it to you just as quickly. I came on a Monday night with a friend just for the raw crab. It wasn't busy at all. We were immediately served with hot barley tea and banchan. The banchan wasn't to my personal taste but solid either way. We ordered the raw crab and it was $40 for a whole large plate. For the price, you really can't beat that. There wasn't too much roe and the crab is not as meaty as others I've had but the quantity surely made up for it. Taste wise, I still really enjoyed it and definitely had some great bites mixing it with rice and sauce. Overall, it was a comforting meal and you get everything you need out of it.
