I discovered this cute little shop during the pandemic; there are many other shops that sell plants and nurseries along Solano of course, but if plants are your jam you really need to come visit this place. Not only are the plants super healthy and varied (you can tell Dom, the owner, puts all her care and effort into them) they also feature small batches of products like skincare, jewelry, etc from local artisans. Great place if you're looking to simply do some browsing, looking for a new houseplant or a small gift. Dom is super friendly and knowledgeable on all the plants and their specific care. They also offer repotting/drainage hole services which is pretty cool, and you can sign up for events and classes. I really enjoy looking at all the different types of plants and trying to decide which one to take home haha. I hope this shop sticks around for a long time yet. read more

I happened to take a walk in the area and stopped by the Pamana Plantas. I absolutely adore this store. It's a small space but beautifully decorated with all the plants, which I find so beautiful! I own a lot of plants myself, but I got excited to see a variety of plants at a reasonable price. I also saw some photos hung on the store, which looked like the owner's family, which later I later learned about. I've reviewed this place before, but it's just so great. The selection is incredible and it's incredibly obvious the love they have for their plants and the business. Everything is incredibly well taken care of, prices are pretty good, and there's always a wide variety and rotating stock so you'll always find something new you like. There are events here pretty often and it just goes to show how a part of the community this place is, even if it is relatively new. The owner is incredibly nice and very helpful and as soon as you walk in you feel the sense of family and acceptance from her general attitude and photos of relatives scattered around the store.
