10/10 Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance I have been here twice and both experiences have been amazing so far! It's a mixture of Asian cuisines meets the beach. They have an indoor and outdoor area with plenty of shading. I can't wait to return. read more

I was so conflicted with this review. I love the vibe and the aesthetics of this place but the service is sooooo bad! Granted we were there on New Years Eve BUT it was at 7p and there were only a few occupied tables. We had a reservation and were seated quickly but it took 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us and take our drink orders. When the server finally greeted us he just said "sorry for the wait I've been cleaning tables and just noticed you." Then we ordered an appetizer and 25 min later it still hadn't arrived so I asked about it and the waiter checked and said "oh it's done someone will probably have it right out." Ten minutes later and my entree arrived but still no appetizer. I asked the the food runner to hold my entree until my husband's food came out and she just set down the plate and said "sorry I can't hold it but hopefully it stays warm until his comes." Another 8+ minutes passed before his entree came out and it arrived at the same as the appetizer that we ordered 20 min before our entrees. We had to wave passing hostesses / waiters for water and drink refills and were only checked on once by the server and that was well after we had finished eating. Then for the bill we waited another 15 min to find our server to pay. By that time it was much busier so I give the server a bit of grace but from start to finish it was such a bad service experience. We did move to the bar after dinner and drink service was much more efficient once we got there. In regards to food it was just ok. My husband had the shrimp tacos and I had the Korean Fried Chicken Bowl. Mine was bland and super cold at that point but otherwise ok and my husband said his tacos were "aight". The best part of dinner were the specialty drinks the mocha kiss and my husband's slush that was basically like a blended old fashion. Our appetizer was great also the habanero yellowtail sushi roll. I would return but just for a good drink and ambiance but I will never be back for dinner service. read more

Quick stop in for a cocktail on a Friday night. Packed! There was a small wait to get in, but the line moved fast. We opted for the Mai Tai. They are a bit sweet for my taste, but other very good. They come served in Chinese Food To Go Containers. A really good touch. N*joy! read more

Palma an outdoor oasis. I loved all the fire pits and the outdoor seating. Although it was difficult to sit and eat at, this place is magical, especially with all of the palm trees lit up for holiday. Love the inside bar area, Santa and all the Christmas trees also really enjoyed the other themed clubs that this is attached to, Sadie was her waitress super fun. Food was great no complaints there, but it really did take a long time to get our last roll, we paid for it, but we had no time to wait, girl, you can't be going so slow come on so we had to leave it behind to be eaten by our friends that stayed there. I WOULD RECOMMEND #palmaphx #tikibars read more

Super good! Came here for happy hour with some friends and love their choices during HH. It wasn't too busy as it was a weekday and before a concert we were attending that day! Love the closeness to downtown and the other options nearby too. It has a super cute aesthetic vibe! read more

Full transparency: I'm too old to be in this restaurant. That being said, the ambiance is very cool. Ate outside in December and it was nice. Loved the table, the bar, the plants. The food was good. I had the "KFC" chicken sandwich and I liked it. Perfect portion. However, we ordered the shareable chips and Guac and it wasn't shareable size. About 10 chips and a large ice cream scoop sized guacamole. It was good, just not what we considered shareable. The service was sub-par. Nice guy but I asked for a refill for my drink and didn't see him again until he brought our check. I mean I didn't even see him to wave him down. And the sandwich had a nice tanginess to it so I was really needing something to drink. Price was fair. read more

My friends and I love a good brunch spot with delicious drinks and great food... we also love great service and a cute / unique ambiance. We try a new spot every other weekend and came across this spot and we were not disappointed. Our reservations were for Saturday and we were seated right away. The spot next door had a drag brunch which was perfect to attend after we were done our meal This place is absolutely adorable and transports you to a very Palm Springs vacation vibe. The conch drink was a hit to be able to share and the presentations was fun. The food was absolutely delicious which is awesome as most places either have good food OR good drinks. This place has both and our service was super attentive. If you love those instagram moments, this is a spot to visit. I haven't been for dinner but will make it a point to do so in the near future! read more

great drinks, great sushi! and honestly really great prices considering atmosphere and quality!

Great atmosphere and decor. Reminds me of being in a resort kind of with all the palm trees and things. The menu is asian fusion and seems like the items are the same as ChamPang Lanes with the popcorn chicken and such. We ordered two sushi rolls which were yummy and shared the garlic noodles. The garlic noodles were very salty but had all the right ingredients. The sushi rolls were better. It was more chill on a Sunday night which we enjoyed. Def would come back here again next time we visit Phoenix. read more

Palma was great. The wait was quicker than the time we were quoted, we were able to grab quick drinks at the bar that we all enjoyed. I ordered the Cheech and Chong, perfect amount of spice. The outside are is so chill. Get a table at one of the fire pits! Service was quick and friendly even though they were busy. We shared the Spicy Tuna Maki, Sake Maki, Macha Maki and the spicy garlic charred edamame. All were fresh and had great flavor! We will definitely be back! read more

Came here with our daughter for Sunday brunch on her birthday. She lives in Phoenix and wanted to try it. We got there at about 10:15. Parking is metered, but it was easy to find a spot close by. The host greeted us with a smile and was very nice. We were sat right away. No one had gotten there yet. We sat outside by a fountain. An outdoor bar was next to our table. Our young female server was very nice. Our daughter had a Mimosa, I had coffee and my wife had OJ. My coffee was pretty good. They had a standard breakfast of eggs, potatoes, and bacon. I had the fried chicken breakfast burrito, which I found very tasty. The staff were pushing back to outdoor bar cover, which was noisy and disruptive, but not for very long. By the time we were ready to leave, the place had filled up somewhat. It was nice to try this place, but I doubt we'll be back. Our daughter is moving out of Phoenix soon, so we will have no reason to visit. read more

What's up everyone!! Yesterday I swung by Palma to celebrate my daughter's bday, aside from the good drinks they ordered, we also dabbled in some good food too. Definitely an Asian style cuisine. Overall we had a good time, vibe was dope, service was great and the music was in point. I'll shut it, here's what we had. Roja Maki - My favorite roll of the night, this was laced up with Tuna, Yellowtail, Avocado, Cucumber, Cilantro, wrapped in a pink Soy Paper then topped with Sriracha. Fire!! Lion King Maki - Spicy Crab, Cucumber, Avocado, and Spicy Salmon, topped with Negi (Green Onion), Sweet Soy and a Chili Aioli. Honestly, I didn't care for this roll. But to each their own. Popcorn Chicken - You have a choice of 3 different seasoning, I went with the Honey Butter and 5 Spice, and yo, this was one of my favorite apps of the night. Bulgogi Beef Nachos - This was my favorite dish, fluffy/airy Nacho Chips topped with Short Ribs, Mashed Black Beans, Jack Cheese, Kimchi, Gochu Crema, Cilantro and Avocado. This dish had mad flavor, must try for me. Thai Curry Fries - These fries were solid for real, and the Chili Mayo that was served with it, some of the best fries I've had no lie. Just a different flavor but super good. Mai Thai - Came in this cool little Chinese food take out box haha, was a solid drink though. Give it a try. Overall, we had a blast, nothing better than spending time with family over good food and drinks. Enjoy my friends. I've been to Palma a few times and each and every time it delivers! I'm not sure why this place doesn't have five stars but it truly needs it. Came for brunch, keep in mind coming here there is no on-site parking. Super cute vibey brunch spot. I have came here many times although this time wasn't my favorite. My boyfriend and I ordered the Blood Orange frozen Marg. Although they kept giving us the original frozen marg and everyone around us got their Blood Orange Marg, maybe the music was just too loud for the bartenders to hear us. The standard was $15 came with two eggs cooked to your preference, bacon that was so oily, sourdough bread which was very stale. Breakfast potatoes that were so dry and flavorless. My boyfriend ordered the Fried chicken burrito which was better than mine but still not for the price point of $15. When I come here I usually order the Pork wraps for two but I guess it's not a "Brunch" item. Our food arrived to us, no silverware for 5 minutes. I asked for water twice and didn't get water till our food came out. I will still come back here just eat my own breakfast before coming in. All the workers are friendly! Little things were missed that could've made the brunch 100% better. read more

Second time in for the win. Palma has my tummy sold. I recently dined here outside in the lounge area with a group of friends. The Phoenix temps did not get to us since the shade a misters made us comfortable. The server was quick with it in getting drinks and food out in a timely manner. My second time was inside at a booth. Ordered a variety of different platters which were all very flavorful and tasty. The service once again was great. I'm hip to the vibe and atmosphere here. Music playing, great service and Vegas beach Vibe. The drinks are creative and a variety to choose from. The food is unique to all taste buds and dietary restrictions. read more

Before writing this review I forced myself to come back in order to possibly redeem the unflattering experience I had upon my first visit. Redemption did not happen. The vibes of Palma are very particular, definitely not for everyone and that includes myself and my friends. Staff was not welcoming at the entrance, and even though it is fine to enter without a reservation, they act like you're committing a crime by walking in to merely sit at the bar instead of at a reserved table. Maybe that was just the experience with me and my friends, but it happened multiple times. So, please make a reservation if you want the staff at the front to treat you well. Now, I do have nice things to say too! Their popcorn chicken is delicious and probably the best shareable on the menu... I did find out that another establishment *nearby* also sells the chicken so I will be going there instead. I did enjoy the Shiso Mojito, definitely try to go during happy hour so you can get the discount on drinks and popcorn chicken. The staff inside such as bartenders and servers are also very considerate and do their best to serve you quickly, so thank you for that. Overall, not my cup of tea but enter if you dare! read more

I enjoyed the experience. The outside is much better than the inside, it's surrounded by tables and there's a full bar. It's really going to be honest. They always have a couple of bartenders there so that's good, so you are not going to wait forever to get your order taken. I've only eaten there, I haven't drank, but we would have talked with the bar say that the drinks are pretty decent. The selling point is probably the ambiance for me for the most part. And it's attached to a bowling alley situation so this is a really good spot to eat and then play. I will definitely suggest it. I had some sushi, popcorn chicken, in the fries. The sushi was pretty good. It was covered in a sweet chili sauce, could have left that off but with the soy sauce I gave it a sweet tangy kind of feel. I had the honey butter popcorn chicken, this was actually kind of too sweet for me. I thought it was going to be a little savory because of the spices, but it was more sweet and honey, but I guess I can't be mad because that's exactly what the name said. Honey chicken is the best way I could describe it. And the fries were good. They came with a mayo with chili oil in it to make it a spicy mayo. I also wanted some ketchup as well, but the fries themselves are basically dusted and chili flakes so they were pretty decent. read more

Imagine if Phoenix met Miami and had a party, this is what Palma is. Highlights were the friendly and attentive service from Shoalay, the relaxing interior, the refreshing Shiso Mojito, and the perfect Thai Curry Fries. visiting from California and absolutely loved the vibe of the place & the food was so yummy. I read a few reviews about the service being bad but our waitress Cheyanne went above and beyond. Security refused service to our group as we were laughing out front. We were a party of 5 ready to spend money (and celebrating 2 birthdays) and were refused entry to both Palma, Ghost Donkey, and champagne lanes. We had 1/2 our group fly in and it was our first stop of the night and we were so excited to be downtown Phoenix. While most of our group lived a sober lifestyle, and the other 2 had one drink 1 hour prior, it was super disappointing to be denied entry. read more

Pro-tip: Make reservations online, they don't take same-day reservations. It's affiliated and physically connected to Ghost Donkey and Cham Pang Lanes, so the food is basically the same for all three restaurants. Don't be fooled by the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner because the price is almost the same if you order the items individually or the Happy Hour for the fried chicken because the pieces you get are different. Highlights: The environment is really hip with a fun and lively ambience. The servers were also super attentive and friendly. The food came out really quick as well. I like how the menu is Asian fusion and the best items were the Chili Garlic Noodles for the flavor, noodle texture and mushroom, and the Beijing Beef Roll for the flavor, texture, and value. Lowlights: I had higher expectations for the food considering the price, but almost every dish fell short. The sushi options weren't very good and the one we ordered was so bland, the bubble waffle wasn't soft or chewy, the fried chicken thighs and popcorn chicken were tiny and 40% of it was breading. I definitely won't be returning. The soft serve machine was broken. read more

I went to Palma with a friend to celebrate a birthday. The decor is super cute, very "instagrammable." The food was fairly good with some items better than others. We liked the fried chicken and really liked the Korean rice cakes. The fries were decent. The Beijing pork roll was not our favorite item and the sushi was also not that exciting. We ended up spending a decent amount of money here, probably more than I would like to spend given what we got. And, of course, they're downtown, so parking is not amazing. Absolutely loved this place! Came in for a small dinner with my wife for our anniversary and thankfully wasn't too full like usual. Our waiter Teagan was very pleasant and the food was on point like always. By the end the manager eddy came by to check on us and offered us some dessert for our anniversary. The whole time we've been here we've never realized that Palma was connected to a bowling alley or a hidden Mezcal bar. Stopped here with a friend downtown on our way to Sazerac. We both ordered the espresso martini and a large pork egg roll. The espresso martinis were great and were an excellent variation. This restaurant left a great impression on me and is a cute chic spot located in downtown Phoenix. Our service was great, everyone there is very friendly from the hostess to our server. I must rave about the Itchy Salmon Nigiri. My boyfriend doesn't do sushi at all and even he loved it. I wish it came with more than 2 pieces, but those were enough. They have music playing which I love but then a live DJ comes around 7:30pm - even better! Great place to watch sports at the bar or take on a cute date. One big thing I love about this spot is the UMBRELLA note of the back of the stalls in the women's restaurant. Once you go, you'll know what I'm talking about. I will definitely be back! read more

I've been waiting to come here for dinner on the patio til it cools off outside but ended up coming here with a large group last night for drinks (Sat). It was really busy but not packed. It was way too hot outside and we didn't feel any fans or misters. I liked their Miami-like vibes and decor. Unfortunately, all the drinks were too sweet for me. The EXSW Margarita, Lychee Lowdown and Rum Old Fashioned were all very sweet. The frozen blood orange margarita was pretty good. Their prosecco was just ok. read more
