Cute little restaurant. Parking can be a bit difficult. The restaurant itself was very open and I was greeted immediately upon walking in the door. The server was friendly and walked me through some menu items to make a choice from. Order was taken quickly and was made within about 10 minutes. The wraps were hearty and had a great taste. Very filling. I got the Cali Club & Chicken Salad for my son for takeout. Wraps were so heart we were able to spit them and have half of each. I also ordered the Hawaiian Breeze. Well I did not like that at all. It tasted as if all of the fruit used wasn't ripe. I won't order that again. All in all the wraps are good enough to return to try others.

Went here because I am recently vegetarian. They were one of the first places to pop up as a vegetarian restaurant. By NO means are they Vegetarian only, but the veggie options were wide to choose from and tasted AMAZING. The servers were really nice, and they had live music. We learned they have live music every Saturday, and sometimes it's one of their old servers ! The crowd was lovely and very warming.

Summary: all good, not incredible, but great spot to bring your dog, sit outside, and walk around a cute neighborhood. Pretty good! They can make things vegan / have vegan options but nothing too unique or impressive. I liked my food a lot but the Richmond area has so many vegan options it's hard to settle for more basic options. Dogs are allowed on the porch which made it an awesome option for us and it's in such a cute area to walk around! If you're stopping for a bite with your dog and want a stroll through a nice quaint town, it's a good choice.

Excellent lunch spot in the Libbie Grove Area. Menu has excellent vegetarian and meat options - wraps, salads, and sides. My Shenandoah was culinary genius - chicken, Gouda, sweet potato, apples, and spinach . I wished for chips (side options were rice, black beans, seasoned potatoes). The service set up was a bit unclear but we eventually figured it out - order at the bar, pick up at the bar and pay at the bar - sit where you want. If you are looking for a laid-back spot to grab some lunch and chill, this is for you !

The hummus tabouli wrap was delicious. Crunchy ( from veg) but moist and savory at the same time. Also had the side of black beans, which were not plain, but had seasonings on them.

This is the Cesar wrap which also has rice in it.

This a cool lil spot off libbie! Right across from the libbie market. It wasn't busy in there at all. It actually was dead in there for it to be a Saturday mid day. I ordered a Caesar wrap which good but had rice which was interesting! Pretty average wrap. They don't have fries or anything just chips. But it's always good to try local places which Richmond is full of. The service is good which is the main thing for me.. lol. And then the food.. although the tap water is definitely that. Not good filtration system at all. Even after adding lemon.. not sure yet if I'd go back to try something else as I can't remember if they have many vegetarian/vegan options.

I have been coming here since my days as a UR Spider (more than 15 years so we won't get into specifics). During those 4 years it was a great place to pick up a quick and healthy dinner. I live in MD but am in RIC 2-3 times a month. I make sure that at least once a month I come in and get a bowl of tomato Parmesan soup and a palani club. A staple that I am happy to say tastes just as good as it did when I was at University. In a world where restaurants come and go - it is comforting that a place like this can remain and still make consistently good food. This is a great place if you are in search of healthier options, vegetarian or vegan options. Back in the day it was one of the few restaurants that could accommodate all different palates.

I had an egg and soy-sauge sandwich. I intended to order vegan but didn't realize the egg was real egg, I assumed it was vegan because my sausage was. I ate it anyway because I didn't want to waste it but next time will read the menu more carefully. Needless to say my egg and soy-sauge on an everything bagel was delicious with a side of fries potatoes and lemonade. I prefer OJ but they don't sell OJ. that was odd to me but the food was great so I went with it. I for sure will go back again. Tulsi feels extravagant and upscale from the moment you enter. The lighting was lovely, each of the different lamps exquisitely lining the walls provided a golden hue throughout the space. We were seated immediately with no reservations. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, great for couples to catch up and talk about their days or get to know one another. Our server was attentive and polite. He gave us time to peruse the menu at our leisure, while he brought out the gratis before-the-meal appetizer. It was like a crispy naan with three distinctly different sauces. It really was quite delicious. I ordered the Chicken Konkani and my partner had the Chicken Curry. As connoisseurs of a great many Indian restaurants, we quite enjoyed the entrees at Tulsi. I savored the coconut creaminess of the Konkani. I also tried my partner's curry, and it had a rich aromatic flavor as well. We didn't try dessert because we were simply too stuffed by the end. The choices were almost tempting enough to persuade me, but we refrained. Tulsi is for lovers, just like Virginia, so we were in great company. I wholeheartedly recommend giving this spot a chance. We will definitely be back to partake in the fine dining experience on offer here.
