Chopt is a nice salad and soup restaurant. There's several toppings to choose from. The store is clean, the bathroom was clean as well. The restaurant was very modern with a nice vibe. The staff was friendly. I got a tortilla soup. I asked for a few toppings thinking they were included, but to my surprise your going to pay for each topping, nothing was included. They charged an additional $4 which I thought was crazy, considering it was almost more than the soup. Lesson learned. I wish the employee would have told me before he fixed it. The manager was a little agitated, because I had him put everything in one bowl, so he had to throw it away. Other than that, the soup was flavorful and I enjoyed it. I'd get it again. First of all... this place got 5 stars based on the customer service alone... Edwin was absolutely 10/10! I had never been here so it was new and he was SO PATIENT!!! And so so kind!!! I asked questions and he answered with a smile! I created my own salad and wow! That was literally the best salad I've ever had! Everything tasted really fresh and delicious! I got I think it was the air fried chicken for my protein and they have such a variety of toppings. The roasted broccoli was SO GOOD!! I wish i could remember the dressing he recommended but it was some cilantro something and I mixed it with the ranch... MANNNN 100000/10!!!! It is a little pricy for a salad. I think i paid about $18 but so what.... If it was closer to home, i would be paying that every week. The place is really cute. Without hesitation, I will be back! YUMMMM!!! read more

Seems like this place is relatively new - very bright with well lit interiors, floor to ceiling windows all around and clean! There are informational displays about what they offer, sourcing of their ingredients. Their signature bowls are great selection of fresh cold or warm bowls. I ordered the miso ginger bowl which has fresh ingredients of brown grain rice, diced sweet potatoes, kale pieces, shallots, radish topped with fried onions (not French canned!) and miso sauce. You can have a slice of their sourdough bread which was freshly baked, soft. Service was quick and efficient and friendly. Overall highly recommended for healthy quick lunch. The Short Pump restaurant had the the most incompetent service I have ever experienced. There was no one inside yet it took 30 minutes to make 2 bowls. The workers were chatting the whole time and mixed up the online orders and in person. The worker tried handing me an online at the counter and when I told them it was a mistake they all freaked out and were completely lost on what to do. The newest entry into the salad franchise foothold attempts in the Short Pump area comes soon after the ill-fated SaladWorks closing very near to this store. So maybe there is a gap to fill here and Chopt does a good job filling that gap with lots of healthy options and some fairly wide ranging choices between cold salads and hot rice or grain based bowls. We especially like the new cauliflower rice base as an option but it will cost a bit more. Speaking of cost, the only thing keeping this from being a more sought after option is the price, which even in a time where everything costs more, the salads and bowls are slightly less of a value (and are a bit smaller) than a comparable meal at a do it yourself like a Mezeh or Cava. A few extras can set you back $15 or even closer to $20 if your splurging. I recommend keeping to their promoted feature items to keep the cost down and then tweak them slightly. Otherwise Chopt is a good healthy option when looking for a break from the normal burger or sandwich fast food fare. read more

Fast service! This place has a cool idea, they actually chop abd mix your bowl before serving. There are lots of bowl places but sometimes it's hard to balance your bites. Chopt puts it all together then mixes it for you before serving. And it is quick! Had a very friendly and helpful mixer that talked about their dressings. They are stellar. The quality of these salads is everything. The ingredients are fresh, dressings are really good, employees are nice, curbside pickup is fast, and the fact that everything is chopped so small makes these salads so enjoyable to eat. I go to my local Chopt all the time. This is my first time at this location while visiting the area. They did not have bacon for the Classic Cobb salad that day. It wasn't because they ran out because I arrived at 11:30 that morning, they simply didn't have bacon. I was told to just pick any other item, so I tried the falafel for the first time. I substituted the blue cheese with cojita and replaced the ranch dressing with balsamic vinagrette. I think after all these substitutions, can I really call this a cobb salad? I actually enjoyed the falafel in my bowl. Perhaps that can be an option next time. It's nice to be able to try something new and I think I created a new bowl this time around. read more

I love this salad place. They have several salads to choose from already but you can create your own too. The shop is new so it is very clean and spacious. I had a nice conversation with the girl behind the counter and she was very helpful and willing to answer my questions. I decided on a create your own salad and I put romaine lettuce, cranberries, corn, chick peas, and cheese in it with a lemontini dressing. This salad was so good I had to have it a 2nd time two days later. They are a little pricey, but the salad you get is in a huge bowl and worth the money. read more

I ordered the grains option (other is cauliflower rice) with sesame ginger dressing, roasted chicken, carrots, broccoli, wontons, cabbage, and picked onion. It was so amazing. The chicken was so fresh, cooked perfectly, it was great. It was a very large portion too for the price. I ordered take out but the restaurant looked very nice/clean. I will definitely be back. My bowl was good tonight. It was made very small though. $13 bowl & i was hungry again an hour later. I didn't get any sides or a drink that would make it a $20 small meal. My salad was more the size of a side salad. It was tasty, the dressing was delicious but the value for what amount of food you get isn't comparable to cava or Mezeh. I love the bowl concepts. I did a make your own bowl at another chopt location it added up to a $22 bowl so this time i stuck to their menu choices & didn't customize. It is good but it could be a lot better. I've ordered the Chicken Tinga bowl the last three times. First time they forgot the chicken. The last two times they haven't put in any avocado. If I could give them six stars, I would. They are, hands down, fabulous. and their salads are HUGE! Easily feeds two (or one if you are super hungry). I have several food allergies and even more food sensitivities. They are super focused on customer safety and satisfaction. As soon as I mentioned it, they immediately took off their gloves, washed their hands and put on new gloves. It's a small thing, I know, but for people like me it makes a world of difference! Adding to this, their food is all very fresh, with a wide variety of options (proteins, veggies, fruit, beans, cheeses, crunchies..you name it!)- both cold and hot - and the entire place is spotless. I always do a 'create your own' salad but friends of mine have done The Orchard, several of their warm bowls, and their Southwest and have been thrilled as well.
