This was my 1st time at a casino buffet and it was a great experience. I love that they section the buffet by FLAME - grill everything like steaks, prime rib, zucchini & yellow squash, baked potatoes and pulled pork. COMFORT - which is anything fried like chicken, they also had buffalo wings & side like mashed potatoes. WOK - is the Asian grill go stir fry. FLAME Prime rib is delicious, if you get a piece that's too red you can ask him to put it on the grill real quick. Rib eyes were delicious, baked sweet potatoes were good and they had toppings to load your baked potatoes up. COMFORT Fried chicken wings & mashed potatoes and gravy were good as well. SEAFOOD Fried catfish was phenomenal, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Tartar sauce was good as well. I was going to try the crab tots but they smelled funny and the shrimp cocktail still had poop in them so I refused to eat it. WOK They have pre made beef and broccoli done but you can also design your own plate & pick all the toppings you want. I did beef, broccoli, bell peppers & onions and it was good. They also have a dessert & salad bar that has an array of options plus soup and pies and ice cream with warm chocolate & Carmel sauce. Place was also clean, service was nice and organized and the casino is smoke free. Parking is free as well. I tried out the Palace Buffet during my stay in Biloxi and really enjoyed it. It's one of the better casino buffets I've tried on the Gulf Coast. The selection is solid -- plenty of fresh chicken including baked, grilled and fried every day, a good carving station, and a Mongolian grill where you can build your own stir-fry. The comfort food sides like mac and cheese and fried chicken were tasty, and the desserts were a nice finish (especially the hot pecan praline sauce). Everything was kept fresh and the stations were clean. Service was friendly and efficient -- drinks stayed refilled and plates were cleared quickly. For the price at $20 a person, it's good value, especially if you like seafood. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in town. read more

This buffet is huge, if you start at the right end there are steak,prime rib,ribs, baked potatoes etc. All the way across the back are different stations like fried class, fish shrimp, raw shrimp, I won't tell you everything there but there is alot of different food, all excellent. The people here all have great personalities, most of them are humble and all about the customers. I talked to Lloyd in the seafood area, him and another said they are the best buffet in Biloxi. I went to the lunch buffet during the weekday. Stars of the buffet were the garlic Parmesan chicken tenders, the corn on the cob, chicken gizzards, mashed potatoes, green beans, and the entire dessert bar - especially the bread pudding and peach cobbler! Why I wouldn't return - everything seafood was a flop, every assortment of shrimp was mushy and inedible. A lot of items were either overcooked or really tough to eat like the fried chicken. For $20 it's not a bad deal during lunch but the atmosphere was loud so I'm glad I brought my headphones because I was by myself. Glad I tried it but probably won't go back. read more

The food was over cooked and beef was boiled. For a dog! When we sat down nobody took our drink orders and the whole grill staff walked out on "break" with no pre sliced meats. I won't take my family here ever again. My 70 year old mother waited in a Disney line for the workers to come back and serve trash! We visited The Palace Buffet in September as a party of five. Since we didn't have a player's card, the price was a bit higher at around $31 per person. After paying, things were a little unclear as to where we should stand, and the hostess got our attention by shouting rudely and pointing, saying, "You wait here!" Since it was our first time there, we had no idea. There were no signs guiding us where to go. Our server, who brought our drinks, was very friendly. I didn't realize tipping was done at the time of payment. This might explain the hostess's attitude. I gave our server her tip in cash directly since she was so kind. As for the food, it was okay but could use a bit more flavor. The dim lighting throughout the buffet area didn't make the food look very appetizing. The prime rib, however, was excellent. Personally, I think the Beau Rivage has a better buffet and much nicer staff. read more

The casino offers deals like BOGO or half off (if you're dinning alone or in odd numbered groups); which can bring the price down to around $10. Can't beat it. The fried shrimp was perfection. It was perfectly cooked and very fresh. Everything else that I got off the buffet to eat was not even what I could say was warm. So none of it tasted good plus it worries me to eat food that's been sitting and not up to a safe temperature. The service was fine but the ambiance was not good. Lunch service 7/2/2024. My husband read that this was the best buffet in Biloxi. As we've had high end to low end buffets, and everything in between, we thought we would give it a try. The line to the cashier and to be seated wasn't that long wait. Good start. Food = Mostly unhealthy. Large majority was fried. Surprising no hamburgers or hot dogs 4th of July week. They did have traditional buffet quality pizza. As I was really looking for a good salad bar, it was underwhelming. Four soups offered plus an egg drop soup located in Asian station. At the Asian station you can pick from premade entrees or choose ingredients to make your own noodle dishes, stir fry, or riced rice. (Pretty cool) Large seafood station. Mostly fried except for the shrimp cocktail. Then two stations of all the regular buffet items. It was just average for buffet standards. However, whenever I see employees eating and chewing at their station, I question food safety and behaviors. I quickly become grossed out. This is when my experience quickly starts to shut down. Service = Our waiter did great job with beverage service, and even assisted the busier. He brought hot coffee, soda, iced tea and water refills numerous times. We tipped him well. (Once with cashier before we were seated, and another 5 spot after we ate.) He was always moving with purpose. Never felt like he was MIA. He was always making eye contact looking if we need anything. (Always honor good wait staff with a nice tip especially at buffets. They rarely get tips or appropriate tips for their service. Especially at a state travel destination.) Ambiance = The room was large. Two story floor to ceiling windows on our side of the dining room. Nice and bright. Plenty of room to navigate through the sea of tables, and for roll-a-tors and wheelchairs to get through with ease. Value = $17 each with player card. $18 each without out. The Palace Buffet is one of the BEST dining options in Biloxi! I am stating this as someone who has always had a low opinion of buffets and usually avoids them, but I was greatly impressed. On our visit we found parking easy, the buffet was just a quick walk through the casino floor and they seated us pretty fast. Side note we paid before seating which was not an issue. Now where can I start, when I dived into this buffet I ate small portions of many items so as to get a taste of many of the offerings. Shrimp was boiled with a mild spiciness this is great for visitors to the coast, but lacking if you are used to a hot & spicy boil that makes you cry. Tilapia was baked to near perfection melting in your mouth with catfish and fried shrimp prepared the normal southern way. The Smoked turkey was delightful and I was surprised to find such comfort foods like jambalaya, seafood gumbo and chicken livers. I can't comment much on the desserts but the offerings looked plentiful with many selections of pie. So on my next visit to Biloxi I plan to drop into the Palace Buffet again. read more

This buffet has been awarded best Buffet in the Gulfport. The service was fantastic, our plates were removed as needed, and the drinks were refreshed in a timely manner. I overheard a server mention"...that's why I like working here", I thought that was awesome to hear. I love dining in restaurants with happy people, it definitely enhances the ambiance. The variety of food is great for everyone. They have a stir fry, Asian cuisine area, some selections of Mexican food, southern cuisine, creole, seafood, carving station, pasta bar, and salad bar. They also covered the dessert varieties, from peach cobbler, to banana cream pie and everything in between. I tried to take pictures of the stations without people in the pictures, however the popular stations were busy on this Friday afternoon. I created a stir fry that turned out amazing. It had ginger, garlic, green onions, bok choy , cabbage, baby corn, bean sprouts, sugar snap peas, tossed in a sweet chili sauce. Yummy. Really disappointed with the side dishes! Absolutely nasty extremely bland and mushy all the side dishes were overcooked. They kept putting hot fresh food on top of old cold food instead of removing the old food first. I hate lazy preparation I hate lazy cooks. The fried chicken was over battered and fried too hard. The comfort food was the worst . The smoked chicken was dry and hard. The smoked ribs were dry and hard . They were playing around instead of attending to the food. The food is so cheap, desserts taste pathetic, and the wok/pasta bars have workers who look and act miserable. I will never be back here. We came for Christmas Day and had a fantastic experience. After reading some other reviews we were prepared for a long wait. It took an hour and a half for us to get a seat but the line moved steadily and it didn't feel like it took so long. I got us some cocktails from the bar so we had drinks while we were waiting in line. The buffet was busy but the staff did a good job of pacing the customers in/out so it never felt crowded. Tables were nicely spaced apart. There was a wide variety of foods on the buffet - too many to list. Everything I tried was decent. Nothing was over-the-top good but nothing was truly Bad either. The staff were very friendly. Was a nice festive atmosphere since it was Christmas. Highly recommended. The entire casino is smoke free, which seems to improve the overall atmosphere (no pun intended) of the place. read more

The food is typical asian buffet food. It's what you'd find if a school or hospital had a Chinese Buffet. Also, you pay before you eat, and are expected to tip before you're served. I've found the people up front to be short with customers, if not outright rude. The best part? To be a buffet, they do a great job with soul food. I was pleasantly surprised. I just ate here for dinner. It's my 3rd visit so far and it is Consistently good, at a decent price. The deserts aren't as good. Looks amazing but works better as food decor for a commercial or something. I have been to the Palace for many years but we went to the buffet last night and we were VERY disappointed in the quality and the temperature of the food. The fried catfish used to be filets from small catfish, now it is fried scraps that come from the processing company where catfish are cleaned. All the items that are fried are overly breaded. I had the brisket and it was passable but the ribs were large and very fatty. All the food that is normally hot (per health dept) is not even warm and sometimes just room temperature. The boiled shrimp are a joke, some were slimy and all had no cut along the back so they could be peeled easily and once pealed most had so much black excrement they were disgusting. No more frog legs, tasty fish filets and the Asian food is terrible. Charge more and bring back the quality that your customers desire. read more

Ok I have been hearing claim, it's the best on the coast, it's the best in the state of Mississippi (really)? I refuse to believe this for I have had some great food in the south. Especially having been born and raised in New Orleans and getting to know some great places to eat in Louisiana. Mississippi, Alabama. Georgia and Florida. Living in San Francisco, so ending time in Chicago and the East coast. This cannot be the best. Nooooooooo. It's good but not to go two times. Food had its array of the same old dishes many kinds of these places have. Food was ok as to taste. I wouldn't call it 4 stars. The people working there were not what I would call happy or cheerful. Located on the second floor of the Palace Casino, the palace buffet awaits. The casino has ample parking, ground level has free parking. Navigating the casino to find the buffet was very simple, the signage helped. The buffet was $28 for adults and was well worth it. There wasn't any line, upon my arrival and maneuvering around the buffet was simple. The waitress was very prompt with refills and removing used dished. There are multiple sections and had to have at least 60 things to choose from. I enjoyed the boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, and fried catfish. The other areas had comfort food, Asian cuisine, and meatier options (steak, brisket, ribs, and etc). I don't really have the buffet appetite, so I stuck to the lighter options. There were huge dessert and salad areas, with many things to choose from. The restaurant had a peaceful undertone, and I enjoyed my meal, without the rushed feeling some buffets provide. Food experiences are different, outside of Louisiana, for someone from Louisiana and this was a great one. read more
