I've been going to Adventures for years every time I am at the Coast to watch football, drink beer and eat oysters. Last night I was on the Coast for the Candlebox concert at 8. We arrived at 6:30. Got seated really quick and ordered drinks and the Chargrill Trio. Oysters came out in about 10 minutes. They were great. As soon as they hit the table the lady I was with ordered chicken wings and I ordered an oyster Poboy. Her wings came out in about 10 minutes. After 45 minutes I still had not received my Poboy. I told the waitress to take it off the bill cause we had to go to the Hard Rock and my companion was done. She said they don't do that and told me she would check with Manager. She came back and told me they were almost done with it and would box it up to go. I told her I didn't want it because it would be sitting in my vehicle until probably 2 in the morning. She told me she wasn't taking it off the bill and got smart with me. I proceeded to tell her to just go get the F-ing bill. Next thing I know security is over at my table. He told me they gave my Poboy to someone else and was making me another. I told him I didn't want it. Anyway, I left Poboy on the table and paid my $90 bill. I can promise you I will never be back and will not be recommending this place to anyone else ever again. They really should fire our waitress! She has a smart mouth, never came to table to ask if we wanted refills nor did she care that I didn't get to eat with my friend and lied about why I had not gotten my Poboy yet. Just wow! We lived in ocean Springs and had been to Adventures 4 times. Moved to Fairhope but came back to the area staying at the Hard Rock so Adventures was a great place for us to meet up. There were 5 of us and sadly everyone said their food wasn't just bad but it sucked. My husband and I had the grilled oyster trio and the shrimp and fried green tomatoes. Just flipping awful. The oysters were overcooked and some were covered in a huge gloppy mess of cheese. Not good. The shrimp were like rocks and the fried green tomatoes were mediocre at best. This was the 4th time eating at this establishment. One through 3 were fantastic. This was so awful I'd never come back. And our friends that live in the area agreed. This was recommended to us by a local. It was AMAZING! We had a dozen raw oysters that were shucked perfectly. We then shared an Ultimate oyster po-boy and a pound of the "deep water" royal red shrimp. I feel strongly that it was more than a pound. We wandered into this pub a few weeks ago and honestly I'm still thinking about it. I loved the bar! Incredibly quick service, friendly staff, and the drinks kept on coming! I ended up ordering the seafood boil (it's called something else but the name escapes me) and the Cuban sandwich because I was feeling extremely hungry. The Cuban was good, I would say nothing special as far as Cubans go but the boil was great. I got a bit lost in the sauce while eating it so I no doubt embarrassed myself as I completely escaped reality while eating it. We went earlier in the day so the bar wasn't too social but anywhere you sit in the pub is comfortable. We were on vacation and staying in Biloxi and decided we wanted to eat somewhere other than a casino. We were walking by and came across Adventures Pub & Spirits and decided to stop in, and boy were we happy to. It gives the vibe of a local bar and you could tell there were plenty of locals in attendance. Everyone was super nice and friendly and our bartender gave us amazing service. We asked the bartender for food suggestions and he said that the Steak Wrap and the Cajun Shrimp Wrap were some of his favs. So we ordered both and he wasn't kidding, both wraps were overflowing with meat and the flavoring was top notch. The food came out hot and super fast. Me and my husband probably could have shared only one of the wraps and still be stuffed. Menu prices were average and beer was cold. We had such a wonderful experience at Adventures Pub and Spirits in Biloxi! My sister, mother-in-law, and I visited today for my birthday lunch, and everything made the day feel special. The food arrived fresh, hot, and in very generous portions. We started with the charbroiled oysters, which were honestly some of the best we've had anywhere on the Gulf Coast -- absolutely delicious! The crab fingers were on the smaller side, but there was an abundant amount, and the fried green tomatoes were excellent. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, which was flavorful and filling; next time I'll ask for the dressing on the side since it was a bit heavy, but overall it was still very good. It's not a fancy spot, but the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Parking is a bit limited, so arriving early is helpful. A fun little bar/restaurant. It seemed to have a good mix of locals and tourists. With close proximity to Hard Rock and Beau, this is a good option within easy walking distance. Been coming here for years; love the service on day shift, it's always been a fun time and super friendly staff as well as great food, however in the past year or so they've added a bartender, Annalisa, who brings the good feelings of the establishment down significantly. She refuses to serve me, even though I come in often and none of the other workers seem to have a problem. I would write a review on their food, if I had been able to try it. Instead I'll write a review on their service. Walked in on a date and awkwardly stood in the front for several minutes not knowing whether it was self seating or not, was told by another customer I needed to grab my own menu from on top of their stack of cleaning supplies (where menus should be kept) and proceeded to wait 20 minutes for someone to come offer a drink or something. Did not speak to a server for the entire half hour that I was here.
