From the road is it hard to tell this place exists. It is connect to Quality Poultry and Seafood. They have two different entrances however once inside you can walk between the meat market and the diner without having to go outside. Walking into the cafe you are greeted immediately. There were about five people ahead of me in line however I placed my order very quickly. I looked on the sign displaying the specials for the day and opted to take the suggestion. It was Friday so the special was the seafood platter. The platter including fried fish, shrimp, oysters, fries, a crab ball, hushpuppies, a cup of gumbo, a brownie and they offer free drinks for military so I got a bottled sweet tea. The entire meal cost $12.99. I was beyond shocked. Due to Covid I took my order to go. Once I started to eat I noticed the actual platter was perfect. It was hot, crispy and I had plenty of food. The hushpuppies and the crab balls alone are enough to make me go back. The hushpuppies have jalapeños in them. They were. It spicy but present an wonderful flavor. They were nice and crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The gumbo on the other hand was a bit slimy. It was my first time having gumbo so I do not know if that is a preference for some people, I was a bit turned off. The brownie was a brownie nothing gourmet but a nice sweet finish to a very savory meal. Customer service? Amazing. Everyone was super polite, they seem to work well as a team. Also, anytime part of the staff felt like someone was waiting longer than usual they would personally go and check and give updates on their meals. All the customers seem to be regulars/familiar faces. Next time I go I will order the oysters, crab ball and hushpuppies, those were my favorite items. read more

Once again- gotta have a fried fish lunch! Nice surprise- they now have a 'budget menu: lunches $8 with $10 salad. I opted for the Fish Boat: "three pieces of farm-raised Swai fried to perfection" with fries. Another nice surprise- the $8 is tax included. Ordered 'To-Go', after I asked the smiling cashier what 'Swai' was, and was told it was like catfish. That'll do- within minutes, I had my piping hot meal boxed, bagged and ready to go. I had forgotten the fries are the seasoned, battered kind (should read my own reviews-lol). The fish filets were a good size, right out of the fryer so were still hot after driving home. The meat texture was moist, maybe even a little mushy, but tasted clean, in a crisp, lightly seasoned batter. Reasonably generous portion (I didn't finish the fries, but not my favorite method.). Seating is available inside the small cafe area, or on the edge of the parking lot. If you are located in a seafood market in a town on the gulf why would you have a fried fish special featuring farm raised Vietnamese fish? I opted for shrimp which were breaded and fried. Good portion and potato salad and Cole slaw were house made and tasty. Breading was salty and hush Puppies were overdone. Bathroom facilities were industrial being located up the stairs in market. If you like seafood freshly cooked, look no further than Rosetti's Cafe in Biloxi. Rosetta's is located inside of a large seafood market where you can select from a large assortment of fresh fish. They have fish from various parts of the world on ice so you can select your own piece. The local specialties are redfish, red snapper, speckled trout and more. On the shell fish side they have an assortment of frozen crab and fresh local blue crab along with Gulf shrimp in various sizes. The idea is to select your fish have them filet it, pay and take it to the counter inside the cafe. Tell them how to cook your fish and if you wish order sides. Their typical deal is that they will cook the fish and provide two sides for about $10. I have had redfish, red snapper and the local favorite speckled trout, all were cooked to perfection. The sides vary depending upon the day but are generally local favorites e.g. red beans and rice etc. Rosetta's has daily specials as well and the locals seem to favor these specials which are budget priced. You need not buy fish at the market i the building as they have a full menu of fish, po boys and other fare. Inside seating is first come first served with long picnic type tables that you share with others. There is outside seating but due to the construction outside seems to be out of favor at present. Rosetti's is very close to casinos. If you are visiting and want to taste very fresh seafood try Rosetti's. read more

We ate at Rossetti's today. My niece wanted her mama, daddy and myself to try it. She's been going there on Mondays and wanted us to try the red beans special. My niece and I ordered, my sister and her husband got us a table. I ordered first and paid for mine and my sister. My niece ordered after me and she paid for her dad and hers. They gave us our cups and we all got our drinks. It was so busy, so we had a little wait. They came through and called my name and my sister and I got our food. My niece and her dad didn't get their food. When we asked, they ask my niece her name. They came back and said they couldn't find her ticket. I said well my niece did pay. Now everybody's food came in a plastic basket with a piece of paper with the food in a paper boat, pork chop on the side, cornbread on top of the beans, with the dessert in a styrofoam container with a lid. Now this is what everybody's in the entire place came in, even the ones they took outside to the patio. The guy brings my niece and her dad's food on a white styrofoam plate. Half the beans my sister and I got. A small end piece of cornbread. He plopped it on the table. My sister ask why they gave them less then we got. He said it was the same amount. But any body could see it was not. I said I feel like he thinks they didn't pay. So I got up and went to the counter and ask for the manager. Turns out the manager was the guy who brought our food. I ask him to check and find the ticket. He said he didn't have time to look up the ticket. I ask why their food was brought out on a different kind of plate. He said because he was in a hurry and just grabbed them. But if you're serving everyone in the place, food in plastic baskets with paper. You know the baskets are stacked up in the back with the paper already prepped and ready to go. After our talk he said if you want more beans I'll bring you more beans. He did, but with an attitude. After that he did come to our table with a better attitude and tried to apologize. By that time though it had already ruined the meal and our experience. Which is a shame because the food was very good. I'm old fashion, so I got a recite. My niece did not. My niece will probably go back. I will not. They made me feel awkward and I am going to call tomorrow and ask if they have cameras. I am going to ask them to review them and then apologize for the way we were treated. Once again my wife and I have tried a new place. Rosetti's in Biloxi, MS is a wonderful place to get lunch. It is attached to a fish market so you can literally pick a fish and they will cook it for you as the "catch of the day". They also have smoked pork, ribs, gumbo and other items. I went with the pulled pork plate with fries. It was some of the best I have ever had. The wife had the fried shrimp and it came with Coke slaw and cobbler. She gave it high scores as well. I also had a cup of gumbo that we shared which is worth returning for as well. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The food was brought to the table quicker than I truly expected. They have some tables inside and outside (we sat outside). All in all it was all more than great. We certainly will return here for lunch in the future. Is there a fan website for this place?!? Because since I went three days ago, I've already been back two more times. Literally... 3 times in a week! That's how good the food has been. Daily! I'll break it down so you can follow along with me. Day 1: Being a "sea food" spot I decided to get the fried shrimp plate. Granted, I went on Red Bean and Rice day, so feeling like I was missing out on the "special" of the day I did get a small cup of this as well. The staff was friendly and helpful with the selection, and the food was reasonably priced so I took advantage of the shrimp. :-P It was a great selection. Not so breaded that it took away from the shrimp, and actually seasoned. My sides were simple with fries and coleslaw. Honestly the coleslaw wasn't to my liking (had a vinegar taste to it) but that's my personal taste there. Day 2: Couldn't avoid the special today, it looked good... Hamburger Steak with gravy. I did swap out the mixed vegetables with the baked beans, but that is only because of broccoli. Yep, just like former President George Bush... you can keep that broccoli nonsense. :-P The hamburger steak was REALLY good, and taking a bite along with the accompanied mashed potatoes. Heavenly! All very good though, not just the steak, all of it! Day 3: The staff is starting to order for me... I should be spreading out these visits. Today I arrived fully intent on finally trying their pork ribs, dedicated to this visit. Only to discover they had sold out only 20 mins prior to my arrival. In a panic, and slight disappointment, I just ordered the Pulled Pork with green beans and baked beans... because beans. This ended up being a fantastic selection. The pulled pork was awesome, not at all dried out, and had a great flavor. It was a TAD on the sweet side so I would suggest you eating it on a sandwich instead of straight up, but I liked it straight up too. Depends on your personal taste of course. Three times in a week, and while it may not be that often moving forward (you know... money) I will definitely be coming back for more in the near future. BC is connected to a fresh seafood store and runs the best brisket or fried fish lunch special. The corn fritters are a must and while they only take cash it is a great place to catch lunch. I only gave it three stars because they have limited seating, parking and only take cash. What is going on here? Complacency, arrogance, and bad employees will kill your business. We had not been here for a while and were greeted by a new face. At just before 2 pm we thought we might be late but they said they were open til 230. Great--at first. Ordered our food, got our drink cups. I told her we wanted 2 unsweetened teas. No problem serve ourselves. Ok, go to get it and out of unsweet. Ask her to fill up the dispenser. Then I was told by the hostess that they "can't make anymore tea because they are about to close." I thought she just told me they close in 30 minutes? Yep, but no more tea and no drink refund--take it or leave it. Seriously, you add a bag, and push a button just like at home--it's a big coffee/tea maker ready in 5 minutes. Our crab platter came a few minutes later with the cakes soggy from Prep--a cheap butter flavored oil alternative used by some restaurants instead of butter for sauteing and grilling (kind of like movie popcorn "butter"). When we ordered the cashier had asked if the grill was still on. But apparently the fryer wasn't cause we were missing hush puppies--the ones they are famous for. OK so as she drops off the food and then she starts taking up our condiments from our table and grabs the menus by the register. Geez, feel a little rushed? At 220 another couple came in and wanted a menu. She told them they "could order anything except from the grill." These folks were visiting from out of town for Cruzin' The Coast and took a moment to decide. The girl called across the room literally after about 2 minutes and asked if they knew what they wanted yet. The man asked another question about the offerings and then asked "what time do you close?" after her curt response. She said, "In about 8 minutes we are going to put the chairs on the table and lock the doors." The man gave her a you know what kinda look and he and his wife left the menu on the table. Miss Cheery asked us how everything was for the second time after bouncing around breaking stuff down all around us without missing a beat and we got the message. And that message was that if you pay a place like this $28 for lunch--that's no guarantee you will get your money's worth or good service. Can't make tea, can't give you lemon wedges for crab cakes, can't even leave a condiment on the table. Hey Rosetti's--we can't be bothered with you again. Too much good food on the coast with businesses that appreciate me and you ain't one of them. read more
