We ordered the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. There were a little heavy with the breading but I'd still rate them a 8/10. For our entrees we ordered the bayou nachos and shrimp and grits. My husband said his nachos were a 10/10. I tried them and also found them really good. The shrimp and grits were also good. A 7.8/10. I found the hot sauce a little overwhelming for the shrimp and Gouda grits but overall a very tasty meal. I will be back to try other dishes. Our waitress, Robyn, was very sweet. The music inside was great. Not too loud and it was very clean. Such a beautiful restaurant. We will be back
The food was tasty overall, but a few dishes had their quirks. My steak sandwich was on the salty side, and the cheese, grilled onions, and toasted bread seemed to outshine the meat itself. My husband ordered the red beans and rice -- he said they were decent, but not quite up to homemade standards (though I think he was just trying to flatter me!). He did reach for the hot sauce to give them a little kick. I snuck a bite of the cornbread, which was lightly sweetened -- really enjoyed it. The chicken breast was flavorful, extra crispy, and crunchy, but the crust was a bit too hard to chew comfortably. My husband may have tried a bite as well, and we both noticed the meat itself could have used a little more seasoning. Despite the small critiques, we always enjoy our visits to Patio 44. We sat outside on the patio after 9 p.m. -- a great atmosphere for a night out. The wait staff was wonderfully attentive; three of them rushed over as soon as we arrived. The bar was fully stocked, though we skipped cocktails this time. It's also a quick, pleasant walk from our hotel -- perfect for a night stroll. We'll definitely be back and plan to try something different next visit!
Wonderful food and wonderful service! My partner and I came here for brunch. We were roughly 12 minutes late and when we were on our way, the restaurant called me to confirm if I was still making it. They were very friendly the entire time and the lady at the front desk definitely displayed genuine southern hospitality. That was already a big plus for our experience. I ordered the gulf crab cake benedicts, and they were legit the best egg benedicts that I have ever had. There wasn't an overwhelming amount of hollandaise sauce, which was amazing because too often egg benedicts would have too much of it to define the flavor. Instead, the crab cakes were very well-seasoned by themselves already, containing a good spice level. Once I broke open the poached egg, the yolk elevated the entire dish's taste. The side gouda grits also had the perfect balance of creaminess and grainy-ness, while seasoned very well. My partner and I also enjoyed the Bayou Crawfish Nachos, which had a ridiculous amount. There was definitely a generous amount of crawfish meat and andouille sausage. There was also a lot of spicy cheese sauce, but because everything else was so abundant, the sauce was able to ensure every tortilla chip is coated with it. It was very delicious! Individually, my partner had the beignets and they overall liked it, mentioning that they weren't able to find good beignets in the north (we're located in Minnesota) and that what they had here was more than satisfactory. They also ordered the biscuit and gravy with white gravy, and specifically said that when they took the first bite, it was like the moment in the animation Ratatouille when Anton Ego had his first bite of Remy's ratatouille dish: in other words, the dish brought them back to when their grandmother made biscuits and gravy, in the most positive way. It was that good. If you have read up until this point already, then I think you know that this place is a solid 5 star in my book. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Biloxi, or just any of the three places in Misssissippi that has this restaurant. Last but not least, a special shoutout to our server Miles K, who mentioned that he was still a student and working at the restaurant during break. He was very hospitable and courteous, helping us every step of the way. If management reads this, please know that I would advocate for his retention!
The restaurant ambiance was very warm and welcoming. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The prices were good and the food was hot and cooked to perfection I would certainly recommend this place to anyone! I had filet and Brussel sprouts ! Will be back again
I visited Patio 44 recently. We were seated quickly, but the service was a letdown. I asked for my salad to come before the main course, but it never arrived. We ordered a 12-ounce steak (which had at least 20% fat), catfish and grits, a kids' Alfredo, and a kids' brunch. The kids' brunch was supposed to come with grits, eggs, and bacon, but I asked to swap the bacon for tomatoes since we avoid pork. When the meal came out, it still had bacon, even though the waitress acknowledged the mistake. Then, when I mentioned we didn't get grits, she insisted it didn't come with them. I showed her the menu, which clearly listed grits. After confirming with the manager, she said it was supposed to come with potatoes, but those were swapped with the tomatoes--when the tomatoes were supposed to replace the bacon. Ultimately, we never got the meal we ordered. The food was just okay, and despite the 15% military discount, the confusion made it a disappointing experience. I won't be returning or recommending this spot.

The cherry limeade had vodka but I was able to swap the vodka to tequila with no issues. The waitress was very nice and checked on us the right amount of times. I didn't have to ask for refills. Would return to explore the menu more.
Stopped by Patio 44 in Biloxi and was blown away by both the food and the service. Our server Miles was exceptional, welcoming, knowledgeable, and on top of everything. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish.
Perfectly cooked red fish in a lightly spiced creole sauce with a few crawfish sprinkle in. I chose roasted broccoli instead of their Gouda grits. The red fish was perfectly cooked. The crawfish were perfectly cooked. I've never had crawfish unless it taste like rubber! The roasted broccoli was perfectly cooked. My waitress accommodating without hovering. Perfect experience!
Listen... I'm from Louisiana and I'm here for work. I was sleep on Mississippi food! Everything was 10/10! Drinks, 10/10. Service 10/10 through and through. As a former server that means a lot for me. That catfish and grits!? Way more than I was expecting and everything about it was the delicious. Even the field peas (black eyed peas) surprised me. My friend had the crab cake sandwich and she gives it a 8.5/10. & The fountain on the patio is a perfect touch to the whole experience. Give them a try!
Great service food came out very quick. I got the crawfish étouffée and it had a strong tomato base with a perfect amount of spice. It was a nice portion and I finished it all and also had a side of the crab dip as an appetizer, which was super cheesy. The restaurant was very clean, but the music was a tad bit loud, but I was the only one in there so that could've been it.
The service was great, Mike went above and beyond! We were served quickly. The food was good, the mimosas were great. Love the atmosphere. The steak and eggs hit the spot.

We found this place while celebrating my nephews 2nd birthday Service off the back was a 10/10. We had a big table and they handled us with care and we had a great time with them. They knew the menu and helped us with choices we were stuck on but we also felt like home despite us visiting for the first time. We had 2 servers Myles and unfortunately i cannot remember our other server but she was just as great. The interior was so spacious and easily accommodated our party of 20. The fooood omg the food was so good and honestly i was impressed with how many different entrees we ordered that was still high quality Will definitely visit again read more
Great spot with plenty of conveniences. They have their own parking lot, which makes visiting easy. I recommend entering through the front entrance where the host stand is located. Inside, there's a large bar with ample seating, along with plenty of tables on the main floor. The food was very good. I would love to see a few more menu options, but everything they currently offer is well prepared and flavorful. My top recommendation is the Patio 44 Redfish. It was easily one of the best blackened fish dishes I've had in a long time. The black eyed peas were delicious and paired perfectly with the Gouda grits. Overall, great atmosphere, plenty of seating, and excellent food. Top notch service. Definitely worth a visit! read more

Patio 44 in Biloxi is a great spot for a relaxed yet polished dining experience. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the meal. I love this place. Just a hop, skip and jump from the casinos on the gulf. I love the chicken and waffles but my favorite is the red fish on the half shell. Sounds like an oyster dish, but has nothing to do with shellfish. It's blackened red fish with a crawfish cream sauce. I've ordered this same dish the six times we've gone. This dish is served with Gouda cheese grits. If you go, give this dish a try. read more

Service was absolutely awful, terrible and horrible. We never got greeted at the host stand and eventually just walked over to the bar after realizing nobody was gonna come greet us. As someone from Kansas City I have experienced bad service, but this was just below par. I'm sure it's great during the day but at night it just seem like a dumpster fire. Once we get to the bar the bartender proceeded to visibly express to us via conversation about our drink and food order how beyond anger she is that she is busy and people are there an hour before they close . Regardless the food was absolutely delicious although the pasta was really bland and didn't have much of a flavor to it but my nachos were delicious and very fulfilling. Definitely a one and done type of ordeal wouldn't go back definitely due to customer service. read more
We had a lovely meal with my husband, my sister and her husband. I had a wedge salad to start, it was delicious. My sisters husband got pimento fritters, it was good but too rich for me. For dinner I had the butcher cut angus beef steak and it was perfect, it came with grilled asparagus and that was very tasty but it was al dente which I didn't care for, | like my veggies cooked. My husband had the pasta jambalaya and it was a lot of food. He enjoyed it. My sister had a special they had that evening and it was a filet with a glass of red and a side, she loved it. Wayne had chicken and waffles, what a presentation! There was a lot of food for that entree. The server was fantastic, he took very good care of us and was quite knowledgeable. I wish I could remember his name. This meal was a special one for me as I had a sister I just started talking to for maybe 3 years and we had never met. We told our server and he made it special for us, giving us some bread pudding at the end of our meal, it was such a nice touch!! This location is always accommodating on this particular day we had a party 20 for a going away luncheon. The service was rock solid as ever the server took all orders masterfully and I say this because everybody at the table deviated from the item with some type of special request. I had my usual Salmon and it had the right amount of sear and the temperature was on point, all of our food came out at the same time in a wave. Another great time at Patio 44 I would write more, but once the wine started flowing everything got blurry. read more
This is a wonderful restaurant if you are in the downtown Biloxi area! They offer other great locations in Gulfport and new location in Hattiesburg also. Please refer to the website for more information. We stopped in for a bit since we were in the area. Definitely recommend getting a reservation for large parties and so they can anticipate your arrival. (Staff). We lucked out. Since we had a large party with us. It was raining that day so it benefited us. Michael was our server! If get this gentleman. You are sure to be in wonderful hands. We got nothing but the best. A world class experience. The food was excellent too! The seating is a bit of a mix bag. It is no couch. We sat in the middle row. We had table and chairs. The chairs were comfortable and padded bottom. The chairs seem to have more padding than the bench seats. However, both have a hardwood backing. The outside tables have combination of chairs and bench seating. Don't recommend sitting for multiple hours tho. They offer high chairs for the little children if they are with you. We skip out on the appetizer and went straight for the lunch offerings. However, they brought out some delicious and fresh baked rolls and with a side of butter. A few of the dishes we ordered were the chicken gumbo and Cesar salad (choice of soup and salad). The gumbo is excellent with a bit of a kick (spicy). Shrimp poboy with fries. Of course, wash it down with sweat tea. Definitely recommend it if you are in the area. Hard to describe the atmosphere of the restaurant since the rain discouraged many of the customers at the time. I will tell you tho. It is always packed when I drive by their locations. They offer a military discount and have free Wi-Fi. No mask required. read more
The service was great, and our waiter was attentive. She helped to provide a mocktail that was delicious. The pasta was good amount of meat provided was great. The steak however was good but it wasn't the best, he thought it was mediocre. The atmosphere I was expecting more on the inside, at one point you at a bunch of waitresses and guys just standing around in the middle of people like guest were not eating. The floor was really sticky for some reason my slippers were sticking to it. read more
