    Summer drink menu

The food was tasty overall, but a few dishes had their quirks. My steak sandwich was on the salty side, and the cheese, grilled onions, and toasted bread seemed to outshine the meat itself. My husband ordered the red beans and rice -- he said they were decent, but not quite up to homemade standards (though I think he was just trying to flatter me!). He did reach for the hot sauce to give them a little kick. I snuck a bite of the cornbread, which was lightly sweetened -- really enjoyed it. The chicken breast was flavorful, extra crispy, and crunchy, but the crust was a bit too hard to chew comfortably. My husband may have tried a bite as well, and we both noticed the meat itself could have used a little more seasoning. Despite the small critiques, we always enjoy our visits to Patio 44. We sat outside on the patio after 9 p.m. -- a great atmosphere for a night out. The wait staff was wonderfully attentive; three of them rushed over as soon as we arrived. The bar was fully stocked, though we skipped cocktails this time. It's also a quick, pleasant walk from our hotel -- perfect for a night stroll. We'll definitely be back and plan to try something different next visit!

Wonderful food and wonderful service! My partner and I came here for brunch. We were roughly 12 minutes late and when we were on our way, the restaurant called me to confirm if I was still making it. They were very friendly the entire time and the lady at the front desk definitely displayed genuine southern hospitality. That was already a big plus for our experience. I ordered the gulf crab cake benedicts, and they were legit the best egg benedicts that I have ever had. There wasn't an overwhelming amount of hollandaise sauce, which was amazing because too often egg benedicts would have too much of it to define the flavor. Instead, the crab cakes were very well-seasoned by themselves already, containing a good spice level. Once I broke open the poached egg, the yolk elevated the entire dish's taste. The side gouda grits also had the perfect balance of creaminess and grainy-ness, while seasoned very well. My partner and I also enjoyed the Bayou Crawfish Nachos, which had a ridiculous amount. There was definitely a generous amount of crawfish meat and andouille sausage. There was also a lot of spicy cheese sauce, but because everything else was so abundant, the sauce was able to ensure every tortilla chip is coated with it. It was very delicious! Individually, my partner had the beignets and they overall liked it, mentioning that they weren't able to find good beignets in the north (we're located in Minnesota) and that what they had here was more than satisfactory. They also ordered the biscuit and gravy with white gravy, and specifically said that when they took the first bite, it was like the moment in the animation Ratatouille when Anton Ego had his first bite of Remy's ratatouille dish: in other words, the dish brought them back to when their grandmother made biscuits and gravy, in the most positive way. It was that good. If you have read up until this point already, then I think you know that this place is a solid 5 star in my book. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Biloxi, or just any of the three places in Misssissippi that has this restaurant. Last but not least, a special shoutout to our server Miles K, who mentioned that he was still a student and working at the restaurant during break. He was very hospitable and courteous, helping us every step of the way. If management reads this, please know that I would advocate for his retention!

    Spiked cherry limeade

I was seated quickly. I ordered the crab fondue, catfish and grits and the spiked cherry limeade. Everything was delicious. The cherry limeade had vodka but I was able to swap the vodka to tequila with no issues. The waitress was very nice and checked on us the right amount of times. I didn't have to ask for refills. Would return to explore the menu more.

Kids Alfredo, came with a side (brocoli)

I visited Patio 44 recently. We were seated quickly, but the service was a letdown. I asked for my salad to come before the main course, but it never arrived. We ordered a 12-ounce steak (which had at least 20% fat), catfish and grits, a kids' Alfredo, and a kids' brunch. The kids' brunch was supposed to come with grits, eggs, and bacon, but I asked to swap the bacon for tomatoes since we avoid pork. When the meal came out, it still had bacon, even though the waitress acknowledged the mistake. Then, when I mentioned we didn't get grits, she insisted it didn't come with them. I showed her the menu, which clearly listed grits. After confirming with the manager, she said it was supposed to come with potatoes, but those were swapped with the tomatoes--when the tomatoes were supposed to replace the bacon. Ultimately, we never got the meal we ordered. The food was just okay, and despite the 15% military discount, the confusion made it a disappointing experience. I won't be returning or recommending this spot.

Stopped by Patio 44 in Biloxi and was blown away by both the food and the service. Our server Miles was exceptional, welcoming, knowledgeable, and on top of everything. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish.

    CRAWFISH ETOUFFEE BLUE CRAB FONDUE

Great service food came out very quick. I got the crawfish étouffée and it had a strong tomato base with a perfect amount of spice. It was a nice portion and I finished it all and also had a side of the crab dip as an appetizer, which was super cheesy. The restaurant was very clean, but the music was a tad bit loud, but I was the only one in there so that could've been it.

Listen... I'm from Louisiana and I'm here for work. I was sleep on Mississippi food! Everything was 10/10! Drinks, 10/10. Service 10/10 through and through. As a former server that means a lot for me. That catfish and grits!? Way more than I was expecting and everything about it was the delicious. Even the field peas (black eyed peas) surprised me. My friend had the crab cake sandwich and she gives it a 8.5/10. & The fountain on the patio is a perfect touch to the whole experience. Give them a try!

The service was great, Mike went above and beyond! We were served quickly. The food was good, the mimosas were great. Love the atmosphere. The steak and eggs hit the spot.

Patio 44 in Biloxi is a great spot for a relaxed yet polished dining experience. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the meal. I ordered the Alfredo chicken pasta, and it was rich, creamy, and full of flavor--definitely hit the spot. Solid food, good vibes, and a place I'd gladly visit again when I'm on the Coast.

Key deserves a huge shout out for being such a sweet and attentive server. I liked her tremendously. We had the boudin egg rolls and the Swamp Tour Sampler: jambalaya, crawfish étouffée, gumbo, and red beans and rice. For dessert, we had bread pudding with beignets. The Boudin egg rolls were the best thing I ate on my entire trip. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly crispy, every bite was heaven. The jambalaya was the best jambalaya I had on my trip as well. It had a fantastic smokiness and was not wet at all. I also loved the crawfish étouffée. It was creamy and loaded. The red beans and rice had a bit of a sweet edge that was not quite my taste. Try for yourself. The bread pudding was the perfect sendoff. Bite-size beignets were nestled in the bread pudding. It was a sweet, creamy, perfectly Mississippi dessert. I loved Parrain's so much that I bought a T-shirt. I generally don't like wearing clothes that serve as advertisements, but this place just has to be advertised all around the country. They also do amazing shrimp and other seafood. This location is off the beaten path but easy to find due to close proximity to the Interstate. Parking is gravel lot so you just fit your vehicle where you can. Usually if you can find a space, there will be a table open so keep that in mind if you think it might be too busy and you don't want to wait. In addition to the great stuff like boiled shrimp or crawfish, they also have wonderful poboys that are packed with whatever you want on them. I opted for grilled shrimp on my last visit, but fried shrimp is great as well. If you order an optional side, you will get plenty like onion rings, fried okra, or fries. They also have daily specials like shrimp or catfish baskets, and currently on Saturdays you can get a pound of royal reds with potatoes and corn for roughly twenty bucks. Royal reds are a premium kind of deep sea shrimp that are more like lobster and very meaty. I highly recommend trying them if you've only ever had regular gulf shrimp before. Service here is always good because the place is small and they keep it well-staffed. Waitresses will keep your drinks filled constantly and they pay attention well. You won't be ignored here, so service is quick and the food comes out fast. Definitely give this place a try.

First off, they bring the food out in a giant plastic bag like it's evidence from a crime scene. And honestly, it is a crime--how much butter and Cajun seasoning they put in there. The shrimp were so spicy they gave me flashbacks to every bad decision I've ever made, and the sausage? That sausage whispered sweet nothings to me before punching me in the face with flavor. I'm not saying I fell in love, but I definitely Googled "how to legally marry andouille." The corn was hotter than Satan's armpit, and the potatoes were softer than my willpower. This is a what a 5* place looks like!…read more On account of how hot Biloxi is right now Our tried and true place wasn't going to cut it. So I looked up seafood restaurants not outside . This one had good reviews and so We tried it. Honestly I wished I would have came here for my birthday which was the day before! It blows The Den out of the water at Treasure Bay! The vibe is classier, the service was impeccable, and the food was 10x better. We started with some drinks: A Apple caramel martini for my son, a pink pearl martini for me, and a pineapple colada for my hubbie. They were are nice drinks. Next for apps hubbie got an oyster sampler which included oyster Rockefeller, Florentine, and Bienville oysters . He also got a dozen raw . I got fried green tomatoes with crab cakes between them. I enjoyed the tomatoes. The crab cakes were too wet for my liking but it's a personal preference only. The taste was good. For entrees I got a seafood sampler which included fried oysters, hush puppies, fried shrimp, and I think catfish. It was exactly what I was hankering for. We got some boudin balls. They were ok . My son got the brunch burger with an egg! For dessert a cinnamon roll bread pudding for my son and a banana foster cheesecake for my husband and I to share. We went up the stairs there is a bathroom up there. Be careful going down if you have had a few drinks lol. Everyone was friendly. We are so glad We found this place off the main strip . Honestly the prices are comparable to anywhere else . If you are looking for a place quiet or even somewhere special to celebrate a birthday or even an anniversary . This place would be a good choice. I suggest going as soon as they open or early evening. After 5 I bet the place would be getting packed. By the way upstairs it feels like you are in Nola . It just has this vibe. Nothing but good things to say about this place and We are definitely coming back possibly the fall!!
