Since November 2023 with the New Owners customer service is getting so much better, the Ladies there are rockstars!!

Let me start by saying that for each time I have dropped off a package, it has always been taken care of and shipped in a timely manner. This review is about the attitude of some of the staff that works at this location. When you drop off a box and request a receipt for the drop off, the employee should graciously accept the request and print you one, hopefully with a smile or at least with a friendly attitude. What they should not do is act as if you are putting them out, throwing their hands in the air out of frustration because they have to stop what they are doing, say "give me a second!!" in a frustrating and nasty tone to go and print you a receipt they should do automatically anyway. Being a business owner myself, employees need to realize that the personality they project to their customers determines if a person will come back or not. I requested the receipt and was even patient while he finished up what he was doing, despite his rude behavior and demeanor. I almost asked him if I was putting him out, by requesting something that should be automatic in the first place, but I didn't because I was not sure what he would do to my package when I left. You do not act like that with a customer period, especially one who has every right to ask for a receipt for their records no matter how bad your day is or what you are in the middle of at the time. I've used Pak Mail several times in the past, and the customer service has always been great. However, my most recent experience was disappointing. I dropped off a package on Friday and was told it would be handed off to USPS on Monday, but as of Thursday evening, it still hasn't been shipped. This delay is especially concerning because the package contains an expensive perfume, and the situation is now reflecting poorly on my business. I've always had positive experiences before, so this was unexpected and frustrating. I hope they can improve communication and ensure timely handling of shipments moving forward. As of right now I'm considering the package stolen. read more

!!!BEWARE - HANDS OFF!!! I absolutely do NOT recommend this company. They shipped a high-value oil painting from an auction house via UPS. It arrived totally damaged. It was insured. They told me to file a claim. After few weeks they don't answer anymore. I think they never did. The customer service of UPS couldn't find any claim in reference to the tracking number. I had to get Fingerprints done for a license yesterday and these two men working there were not wearing a Mask. I had my Mask on as I do not want to take any chance to get COVID as I am a Senior. I asked the one man doing the fingerprints- "excuse me, you are not wearing a Mask". His reply, " We don't believe in them". At that point I was stunned- appalled but had put $57.00 on my company credit card and needed this Fingerprints to get done. Needless to say - this man was not able to social distance because he had to run the machine. Two other women came in the store behind me waiting and they had their masks on. I think this was EXTREMELY SELFISH to act this way and not care about your customers. The store was not very busy. Can't you put yourself out and put on a Mask when your customer comes in? Just Foolish, bad behavior. read more

I would encourage you not to use this place to ship large items. I shipped a beautiful maple and cherry chest of drawers to Oregon for my son and daughter-in-law. The cost was $725. When it arrived, the back of the chest of drawers had been caved in so much so that a drawer would not shut any longer and the top of the chest was scarred like it had been dragged across gravel. After filing a claim and repeated contacted, I was never compensated. I definitely felt like I was being "blown off". read more

Highway robbery! Ask before you except any services what your bill will be, they attach exorbitant surcharges. Find another place to ship.

I ask if I could send an email to print a return label. They said yes and gave me the address. I send it and wait, and wait and wait. I ask if there is another way to get this return printed. All my suggestions were not acceptable. 15 min later u was told it took 30 min to receive email by phone. Maybetheycould update their internet speed or take a photo of my return label and print it. AVOID - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Scheduled a Uhaul truck pickup for 9am. Arrived at 9:30am to find out the store doesn't open til 10am. Employee was 40 minutes late (got there to open the store at 10:40am), causing me and several other people to wait outside for our truck pickup. I arrived at 9:30am and did not get my truck keys until 11:00am. read more

Called and talked to Tom (the owner) on the phone and he quoted me a price to ship a drum set that I was very clear on how many drums and cymbals and hardware and a seat that would need to be packed and where it was to be shipped. He made it sound like he knew just how to take apart the drums and ship them and that he had done it many times before. It was a lot of work for me as I am one person and an older woman but I got the set up the stairs out of my basement and packed into the car and to the store only to have him tell me it would be two and a half to three times as much as he quoted me on the phone, and he NEVER said over the phone that he was just giving me a real rough estimate but he sounded as though he KNEW exactly what I wanted to have shipped and what it would cost. I thought it might cost a little more once I got to the store because a quote over the phone is not in real life but he was WAY OVER the phone quote. I had to pack the five drum four cymbal kit back into my car and drive it back home. Very disappointing!! This was my husband's drum set and he passed away two years ago and I was shipping it to our two sons in CA as they have just recently moved into a place where there is room for the drums... VERY disappointing and definitely NOT the way to do business!! read more
