Behold, the Rosemary Potato Primo! My most favorite pizza that Pagliacci makes - only in January.
    Jen R.

I freaking LOVE Pagliacci. Especially in January - that is when they offer my favorite Primo, the Rosemary Potato Primo. The description goes as follows: "CHICKEN SEASONED IN A SWEET AND SPICY MARINADE COMBINED WITH ROASTED ROSEMARY POTATOES, PICKLE RED ONIONS, KASSERI CHEESE AND MOZZARELLA OVER ROASTED GARLIC OIL AND RED PEPPER FLAKES. FINISHED WITH PARSLEY AFTER BAKE." And tonight did not disappoint. It is always dependably good... I want to get at least one more order of this pizza in before January ends! I seriously look forward to this all year. Haha! Other cool things: - This one has a small parking lot, but also plenty of additional parking in the back. - Fast and friendly service - Smallish dining space but it is never too full to find a spot to eat -- I think most people pick up to take home, anyway

Yummy! Crispy & light dough. The chicken primo is pretty good, wish the chicken & veggies were a little more roasted. Super hot and fresh out of the oven. Vegan cheese available to substitute & you can make your own pizza! $5 slices, about $23 for an 11" personal pie which is a little pricey but seems to be the standard for pizzas these days. Plenty of indoor seating, very nice & accommodating service. Cute Italian versions of movie posters! I love the Isle of Dogs one in the bathroom!

Pizza was delicious, even if it was a bit on the pricey side. Honestly, worth it if you want a pizza that slaps. I have been wanting to try this joint out for a while and I'm glad I did! Got the brooklyn bridge (with no olives, bleh) and I will in fact be going back to try more! The cashier was friendly, the restaurant was clean. :)

Pagliacci is a pizza chain with 25 locations all over the greater Seattle area. This location is in the Lake City area off the 522/Lake City Way. This location has a small parking lot as well as residential street parking. I ordered the italiano ($4.75) and the extra pepperoni ($4.50). The italiano was decent and was similar to a margherita but with roasted garlic. I preferred the extra pepperoni because I liked the extra meatiness and the crispy edges of the pepperoni. The pizza was good but I don't know if it was worth the price. The slices were normal-sized so it wasn't like you were getting more for your money. The staff was nice and friendly though.

Updated review: I have some great news to share. I recently visited the location near the Arboretum and the pizza was pretty darn good. Either they are making better pizza or my time in seattle has caused my pizza standards to be lower. Due to the fact they now have a funky/rad box I am going to bet that their pizza improved. Good work Pagliaccians.

Top: Breadsticks Bottom: Prosciutto Pizza (seasonal item)
    Francesca S.

What we ordered for the table: - Prosciutto Pizza (seasonal item) - Breadsticks We got their seasonal pizza, which this time was Prosciutto! The pizza had a good balance of bread to toppings ratio (which is what I like to judge my pizza on). Their prosciutto added just the perfect amount of saltiness and protein to the pizza. But their breadsticks tho... it was amazing! They are super soft but also slightly crunchy on the outside. It's topped of with some cheese, which adds extra flavor to them. They also come with a side of marinara sauce, which I thought to be not too sweet or bland. But definitely add on their salad dressing sauce (similar to ranch) for an even better experience!

Pagliacci's will always be my go-to pizza place, and probably my favorite pizza place! I always get the classic pepperoni pizza, but their seasonals are quite good too, and I'm always waiting to see what will release! I want to say we have pagliacci's for dinner maybe once or twice a month. Anyways, the pizza is always super fresh and super tasty! The quality is always super high as well, and you could taste it in the ingredients and the way it's made. I also love the designs on the boxes, and they always change up the art on the box which is really cool! I actually kept a few (clean) pizza boxes just because of the cool art and design. I don't believe that Pags has ever disappointed, and they have always been the best in my book, and it is always very consistent.

Upon arrival after 9:00 pm on a Tuesday, we asked to set in one of the booth but they said no because of their strict policy for the booth the used x 3 or more people. Meanwhile, all 4 booth were empty. The kind waitress then offered to move us to the bar booth if something opened up, we kindly agreed and simple went on with our night at different table. While on the table my friend picked up 3 small little flowers from the base and said happy birthday to me, and I put the little flowers on my hair, then I told the waitress I hope you don't mind, my friend gave this little flowers from the table it is my birthday, to which the waitress replied happy birthday, I have no problem with that!. Then comes the manager, and tells me sarcastically, that is a cute flower but it is not yours to take, you should have asked permission anyways, I told him with a smile, but is my birthday and it a tiny flower may I keep it? He stated no, because other costumers will come in and there are no flowers in the table. I told him to replace it with another from another table and he said No give it back now please. It is not yours to take!!! Me, already feeling unwelcome and missed treated, yet still stayed but couldn't even finish my pizza because of how upset I was. I told my friend I wanted to leave. After closing the tab, I walked upfront and waited for my friend. Upon walking outside, the managers comes after us screaming "hey give me back the flower" you took it, at this point I was still walking ahead on my friend and I can hear the manager yelling "she stole it" give it back now, she is a thief, you come here to steal is that it? I repeatedly, told him I didn't take it and even open my purse and told him to come search it, but he stormed back in while insulting and yelling to me IN PUBLIC! - I was deeply humiliated in front of absolute strangers. I didn't see my friend taking the flower either, and if he did, he never gave it to me otherwise, I would have throw it at his face. The luck of hospitality, professionalism, and simply compassion and dignity from this person is Absolutely Unacceptable. I was treated with far more respect and the Four Seasons (and they did give me flowers), than this ridiculous place. It is a shame that the owner would allow someone like this to be the front of the business. And I feel deeply sorry for their employees to have to endure this person as I saw on their eyes the embarrassment they felt. I deserve nothing else but an apology for the way I was treated. I too work in hospitality, I know what is like to provide costumer service providing healthcare and never in my wildest days would I ever treat anyone with such disrespect and unprofessionalism. I recommend this person to be replace or re train. Otherwise it will only affect the business.

If that line is intimidating or wet (think rain!) then duck inside to Pizza and Pasta Bar for a delicious meal. While there we met the owners Bruno and Goli who were helping out behind the counter. They are the nicest people ever! So friendly and accommodating and always smiling. Their pride in their restaurant really shows in their care of the food and customers. I had the infamous meatball sandwich and my wife had the chicken carbonara. They gave us each a slice of their pizza for free as they had a bit extra from one that just came out of the oven. The food was prepared in front of you which is always interesting to watch and the charming brick pizza oven was directly in front of us so we could watch that process as well. Pretty cool. There are a wide variety of pizzas and pastas, desserts and drinks (alcohol too!) available on the menu. We ate at at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with the owners as they bustled about in the open cooking area. I enjoyed my meatball sandwich which had great crunchy crusty bread that held in the contents of melted cheese, red sauce and meatballs. A great choice to get when there. My wife liked her chicken carbonara and as the portion was pretty large, we were able to take some home for later. Extra yummy for me (ha ha)! The complimentary pizza slices were a hit for us as well. Napoli style with thin crust and flavorful toppings. We found out that Goli created the restaurant's design with the face of a woman that looks a lot like Venus in "The Birth of Venus" painting by Botticelli in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence Italy (just sayin'). Except that this logo has hair made of pasta! Good enough to eat! Give this place a try. You'll leave with a big smile on your faces!

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Unfortunately, the experience is consistently dampened by one of weekend bartenders. As others have mentioned, it's that taller bartender (Alex?) who repeatedly comes across as arrogant and dismissive to us; a less than desirable character trait for a bartender. It's such a pity because that is the sole reason we now lead our groups to spend their money and patronize other establishments instead. Recently we did give Diller another try, but sadly it's the same story and thus this feedback. Hospitality makes a HUGE difference. Bartending isn't just about making a good drink and expecting tips. As someone who tended bar all over Seattle for 23 years, I know how much energy and attitude shape a guest's night. When the service feels cold and passive-aggressively rude, it's hard to feel good about the experience. It's disappointing, because this place has so much potential. Hopefully management considers bringing in weekend staff whose personalities reflect the warmth and atmosphere the space deserves, there are plenty of more qualified bartenders in Seattle that would gladly fill their spot.
