Great ice-cream at a reasonable price. I love their chocolate banana milkshake.

This place is a little gem! Hidden just down E Carson, past all the shops and busy streets there is a tiny little unassuming building on a large corner lot. I've never been a fan of soft serve or gone out of my way for it, but this place will make you do just that. Not to mention the fresh squeezed lemonade made to order (yes, they squeeze the lemons right into your cup.) Burgers and fries are also made to order, so be prepared for a short wait while you prepare mentally for the heaven you're about to consume. I'm not a fan of their fries (they tasted like they were made in old grease) but wow that cheeseburger. I have a small appetite and can't usually finish most things - so when I ordered my burger and fries I let the bf know he was expected to finish it for me. Little did we know he wouldn't get any of that delicious burger, because the second I took the first bite the rest magically disappeared. Oh! They also have old fashioned dip cones which are one of my favs. Definitely recommended. read more

Get a Southside Shake with hot fudge shake and peanut butter sundae on top - absolutely amazing!

The soft serve here is very tasty. They do the chocolate chip cookie sundaes really well. They also pack in the flavor in the birthday cake soft serve. It is always very busy despite a run down makeshift parking area, not much curb appeal, and being cash only. read more

Page's has been one of those places that has become a family tradition. My parents can't drive past without stopping and sometimes drive 40 minutes just to go. Since I was a kid I've always gotten the dirt sundae (oreo cookies and gummy worms) and always feel like a kid again when I get one. read more

A south side summer staple. Say that 4 times as fast. One can expect to find a family atmosphere here and who doesn't like soft serve.

Page's has was a staple of my childhood and young adult life. There ice cream is great and their prices are good--evident by the line that is always out to Carson St. I wish they had a tent with seating. It rains. . .ALOT in Pittsburgh. Eating in your car is the signature of this place but I wish there was some covered seating. read more

Wow! Incredible quality for a little ice cream stand. Typical cones, sundaes, and milkshakes. But a menu of burgers, fries, nachos, etc. and items like the raspberry toasted almond tort sundae really set this place a part from competitors. Worth the trip. read more

i love this place more than any other place ever before in the history of places and me eating at them. not only is the ice cream made from local heroes, turner dairy, but the man who operates this fine establishment, chuck page, is one of the friendliest people in pittsburgh. there are so many options, i hate to say i've gotten the same thing more than twice, a couple of faves: thin mint artic swirl coffee ice cream with chocolate sprinkles southside shake!!!(sundae on top of a milkshake) best ever! read more

It's ok if you like soft serve and enormous amounts of it. I am not a huge soft serve fan and I find the flavour of Paige's very bland. So I t tastes like cold sweet and that's about it. The atmosphere is great and it's worth a trip come here once just for that. I don't think it is worth a second trip though. read more

Page's - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

We have lived around town since we were little. The staff at Page's are always amazing. We went last night and waited for a little while but did not feel long at all. One of the staff made the ice cream and was about to hand it to me. They noticed a bug landed on the treat on top and completely remade my order. I would completely recommend. read more

Bring Cash! Extremely cheap ice cream but it's the very best in this region. We're not wasting our time at Dairy Queen any longer. They are open for most of the year but close in the winter months. This is our new weekly tradition. read more

This place was just okay. I had the cookie sundae and my fiance had the brownie sundae. We both kind of watched, horrified, as the girl making our sundaes ran our cookies and brownies through a warmer in one of those cheap plastic containers. I mean I know I'm eating ice cream which is sooo healthy, but a little cancer from warming up plastic with the food you're gonna eat never hurt anyone either...The price for the sundaes seemed a little high to me at first but the more I ate the more I realized we really did get our money's worth. This is definitely better than dairy queen and it has a good ice cream shop atmosphere if you're looking for some good soft serve treats. read more

Whoever doesn't give Page a 5 has no soul. It's childhood everyday March-October. I love the pretzel cones, but everything is good.

Been coming here my whole life and always bring out of town guests for a true Pittsburgh treat.

I've never had anything bad from here. Anything from the amaretto soft serve, to the marshmallow milkshake, to the south side hot dog (which I get with only mustard), it's all amazing. They're open most of the year, too! It's cash only, so bring cash with you (or pay the fee at the ATM they have). They also have the famous Nancy B cookie in a sundae. I always take out of towners here read more

I love Page's! It's a Pittsburgh staple that gives the summer months a sweeter taste! I went to Page's last week and it was delicious as always! This time I thought to treat my puppy to a small cup of vanilla ice cream. I asked the lady at the counter for a small to-go cup of vanilla ice cream for my puppy! When I got home and went to give my dog the cup I saw a milkbone topper that she had placed in his ice cream! It was a perfect added touch that will keep us coming back! Thank you! read more

The best ice cream in Pittsburgh! I've had so many different sundaes over the years. I recommend asking for vanilla with hot fudge and marshmallow sauce with graham crackers for a S'mores sundae. It is not posted in their window anymore but they will do it! With the traffic from Liberty Tunnel closures rerouting past here, you should TOTALLY make a stop. It'll be the best part of your commute. read more

A 'burgh favorite for a reason. The Yinzer is locally sourced and delicious. For a little slice of not-so-well-known Pittsburgh history and taste, Page's is the ice cream shop to visit. read more

LOVE page's, been coming here since i was a kid, same GREAT ice cream, shakes, etc, even BETTER burgers, dogs & fries, prices so low it's almost shocking, if you're in the south hills & want QUALITY soft serve this is the place, & believe me, it's worth the wait when the line is long, always has been read more

I`m always so excited when this place opens back up! I have been in Pittsburgh for 3 years now, and i just ADORE this place!!! There is no other ice cream shop like it! Only complaint i have is that the lines get long but that is to be expected. read more

Page's is the best ice cream place I have ever been to! Their ice cream is creamy and full of flavor and their artic swirls are filled with all the good stuff, no more digging at the bottom to find the goods! They use Nancy B's decadent cookies, which shows you they care about the quality of what goes in their ice cream! There is usually a line to wait in, no matter what the weather is, because everyone wants a piece of Page's! The only small, teeny tiny issue I have is the location, while there is much history behind it (Refer to windows for newspaper articles), it is dangerous to pull in and out of on the corner of Carson and Becks Run. I got in a horrible accident by someone who hit me coming out of Fagel Street, which is right behind the dairy mart, so just be careful pulling in and out of Page's. Other than that, this place is sure to melt your taste buds! And it is wallet friendly too! Just bring the cash, no cards accepted (atm on location) and make sure you get there before they close for winter!! read more

I have lived in the area of Page's Dairy Mart for about 40 yrs. I have always enjoyed the ice cream until" this" day. I ordered an artic swirl (chocolate ice cream with chocolate chip cookie dough) I have ordered this same item over and over again. When I took first taste, no chocolate chip cookie dough pieces, second taste, same thing, third taste, same thing and so on for approximately 5 or 6 tastes. I took the cup with remaining up to counter and asked them to remake, I was denied told it would waste "their" money, nothing about mine, what I had ordered was more expensive than plain chocolate ice cream. They dumped what was in the medium cup into a small and handed back to me. Well it wasn't even a medium desert, since it fit into a small cup. I even tipped the girl $2 when I first received my desert. I will never return, to make any other purchases. I will however return to express my disdain to the owner when I can find him there. I hope he reads this. read more

This place is a great Ice Cream Shop. My Favorite is the birch beer float. Delicious and under $2. A blueberry shake was made with real blueberries. Really, I haven't had a bad item here. Just make sure you bring cash, that's all they take. read more

Okay I had heard and read about this place since moving to this side of town and finally came. Big waste of time and gas. They Do Not have ice cream, only soft serve. Well I ordered butter pecan 'ice cream' and what do they bring me? Vanilla! Wow are their servers just lazy or dumb? read more

Awwww yeeeeeeah. Just went to this place for the first time and it was awesome. I had driven past it many times and my curiosity was piqued by the many signs all over the building with delicious-looking ice cream on them. So naturally I was super pumped to go to celebrate a friend's birthday. We pulled up and found parking right by the building, and then only had to wait in line a few minutes before placing our order. They have about 15 different flavors of soft serve, a whole bunch of different dips, different cones to choose from (pretzel, waffle, cake). They also have a whole bunch of delicious looking sundaes and Arctic blasts, and tons of other options. I went with a cone of the birthday cake soft serve dipped in chocolate. It was fantastic - the soft serve has a great smooth texture and the dip was on point. They also put a plastic sleeve on the cone to catch drips, which totally saved my clothes. My husband got the Yinzer Sundae, which had a blondie, vanilla ice cream, milk chocolate, white chocolate, caramel sauce and whipped cream. YUM. The employees were polite and very efficient keeping the line moving. The place has a fun laid back, retro atmosphere. Can't wait to come back! read more

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Page Dairy Mart. I just moved to Pittsburgh less than a year ago. I work on the South Side and found myself making a number of drives to Homestead down Carson St. The first time I passed this place, I was intrigued by its old-timey look. I passed by a numebr of times before I stopped for a butterscotch sundae. It was ridiculously good. So, I did a little research. Turns out Page Dairy Mart has been in the same location for about a hundred years. It was a gas station for a long time, it was a service station, they had a farm stand in there for a number of years and it was twice slammed by flood waters from the nearby Monongahela river. But its still there, serving delicious ice cream treats, burgers and handmade lemonade. I am tempted to go there every week in the summer. I went today and I think I may go back next week too. Yes, the parking is a little weird, but you won't be there for more than about 20 minutes. read more

If you ever ride down Carson and pass this little place. Turn the car around and stop in!. The lines can be ridiculously long but it moves very fast and the ice cream is worth it! Blueberry soft serve alone is worth the trip. I love the pretzel cones. If you really want to indulge, have a Chocolate Chip sundae, you will thank me later! Great find! read more

Love this place. The soft serve is so yummy! My mom always took us to get ice cream here in the summer when we came to visit. Just stopped here two days ago and it was just as delicious as I remembered! I just hate trying to pull out of this place because traffic is always so busy in every direction. read more

What can I tell you that others haven't already? Higher fat content makes for a superior-tasting product. Multiple flavors of everything, fresh, hot, made-to-order food, classic neon lights and a drippy railroad bridge. It's a beautiful piece of mid-20th century American nostalgia. What's not to love? read more

Best soft serve in the burgh! Their peanut butter ice cream is to die for. I also think their chocolate is the best I've ever tasted. The lines are always long but it goes very fast - excellent, fast service and really great prices. So glad I live so close! read more

Best place in Pittsburgh for soft serve. The line is always long, but they are very efficient & it moves quickly. I love that they incorporate so many local ingredients-Nancy B's cookies & burnt almond torte. read more

I have heard a lot about Page's and it was my first time going a few days ago. I got fries and an ice cream dish; they were both good, although the fry order could have passed for a toddlers sized portion. Also, they messed up my friends order and made her pay again for the right thing. The menu was large and had plenty of variety. I will go back, although my first trip was not as successful as I had hoped it would be. read more
