Well,after all the hype seen on IG.... Was in Pittsburgh and gave it a go. Previewed the menu before going and it was overwhelming. I guess if you like soft serve, this is your place to go. Very creative with a lot of things. There is also hot sandwiches to order. We went on a rainy day, and there were still people in line around lunch time! Service was first come first serve. They know their menu really well (I think it is family run and is a Pittsburgh establishment). Well, I had to get the south side nachos... OMG Sugar scale through the roof, but it was incredible. there are other things I would love to try, great thing my daughter is a student in Pittsburgh, so I will have opportunity to visit again in the future! Amazing! We always pass by Page's and tell ourselves we would stop one day as the lines were always long. But this Sunday we decided to stop and get something to cool down the summer heat. We found a spot to park on the lot. Their portion sizes are huge. As you can see based on my picture those are both 'small' sizes. Ice cream under a bridge on a sunny day in Pittsburgh. What a yummy treat!! Their soft serves are both affordable and generously portioned. My friend and I ordered the small caramel and blueberry soft serve, and I was surprised by how fresh and smooth it was! There isn't a place to sit down outside, so my friend and I ate in my car before heading out. Parking was an interesting experience. There's a small lot underneath a bridge, which was dripping water from recent rain. Cars were parked somewhat haphazardly to try to make use of the space. Many people have told me that Page's is the most amazing ice cream place around. I don't quite understand the buzz. The menu is extensive and the ice cream treats are both gigantic and tasty. But it's nothing that you can't get at just about any soft-serve joint. More important, there is no place to sit! The shop is under a bridge and adjacent to a gravely parking lot, so the ambience is a mix of noisy traffic and concrete/dusty. Why would you go out of your way to eat ice cream in a place like that? From what I can tell, they are most well-known for their chocolate chip cookie sundae (pictured below). My wife and I tried it and indeed it was large and delicious. But again, it would have tasted better in a chair and air conditioning than standing in a parking lot under a bridge. read more

Every good thing you hear about Page's is true. Huge menu, delicious and creamy ice cream. I accidentally went 8 years of living in Pittsburgh without coming here, but better late than never! You don't often see such a large variety of soft serve flavors, but they have so many. The black raspberry was so good. I also appreciated the little cup for ice cream drippage. Amazing ice cream! The lady who took our order was so sweet and speedy! The line was a little long but to be fair, we went opening day so it was not really an issue. The music was also super good and made the time feel like it was going by a little faster. It was my first time here and even though parking was a little rough, the amazing ice cream made up for it! There will usually be a line, so my suggestion is to just visit on a nice day and just wait in the line. It goes by quickly. The staff are always friendly and the ice cream never misses! pages dairy mart is my favorite place to get ice cream in pgh!! beats out jenni's, millie's, all those chains. it's one of a kind! everyone raves about the ice cream but the food?? how often can you say you've ate ice cream under a bridge? many locals raved about page's being the "best ice cream in pittsburgh" and yelp has many glowing reviews. here's my TLDR; come here for very affordable huge ice cream sundaes and arctic swirls (think mcflurry's with mix-ins), but expect very very sweet ice cream and pretty basic flavors. we came on a random afternoon and there was a line. there's parking up front and menus on the side of the building. there's not much seating so we saw most eating in the car. prices are cheap - $4.81 for a small arctic swirl (which is huge and i was sugared out 1/4 of the way through). it wasn't clear what an arctic swirl was to me but basically you can pick any soft serve flavor base and up to 3 mix ins. the menu is kind of overwhelming. the sundaes looked good and i wish i got that. // maple arctic swirl with waffle pieces and chocolate chunks $4.81 // as mentioned, huge portion and very cheap. also very very sweet. their flavors definitely taste cream or vanilla based- the maple flavor was pretty light. chocolate was thin hard pieces which was good. couldn't really taste the waffle as it was very small bits. my mom got a coffee arctic swirl but we could not really taste the coffee flavor. if we weren't getting different flavors, you could definitely share one between at least 2 people! i personally would not revisit but you should if you have a really big sweet tooth and a big appetite. read more

Page's is totally worth the hype! I never thought I would be able to tell a difference between "really good ice cream" and not, but wow was I wrong! Page's ice cream is so smooth and creamy. It has amazing flavor. Their menu is HUGE so there's definitely something for everyone. My banana split was way larger than anticipated lol but it was delicious. Finally tried Page's and it was worth the wait! I got mint chocolate chip oat milk soft serve dipped in chocolate and it was like eating an Andes mint. So flavorful, so creamy, and dairy free! The line was long but it moved fast. It was such a fun experience and I can't wait to go back! Is it summer yet? Although I've been a Pittsburgh native my whole life, my first time at Page's was very recently! I've had a lot of delicious ice cream experiences but this one was VERY high on my list. It's in a very interesting area - one that you need to get to by car and make sure some interesting liquids don't fall from the rain tracks above on to your car. This place is always busy so parking can be a little challenging, but we were able to find some next to the mechanic next door. The long line went by very quickly as they have a really well-oiled operation going on there! After we ordered, we also didn't need to wait very long for the ice cream. There were some areas for seating but it's mostly a place to grab and go - we ate our ice cream in the car. Well, what we could finish! The sundaes were INCREDIBLE but also MASSIVE - bigger than my face!! Next time, I think my husband and I will split a sundae (but there will definitely be a battle for the last bite!) Yay! Page's Dairy the BEST. This is THE place to be. Pgh has had all kinds of new places popping up all over the place and nothing can beat the standard that Page's sets. The menu is amazing. Truly. We've been by this place several times on 885 coming into Pittsburgh and during the summertime it is always packed. We stopped just around lunchtime on Saturday and we were 12 deep in line. We got there at a good time because the line eventually wrapped completely around the building within 30 minutes.
