This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Fresno. Their lunch prices are better than dinner and you get a delicious potato soup. The drunken noodles are amazing as well as the yellow coconut curry. Their peanut sauce is great for the spring rolls. Aside from being a little pricey, which seems to be the norm after Covid,great service and ambience as well. read more

Popped by before closing, placed our order over the phone for takeout. They took awhile to answer the phone, but nevertheless they accepted our order within the last 30 min and had it prepped in less time than that. Nothing better than an Asian food restaurant that prepares food quickly (and still makes it good). Trust me, the food tastes so much better than some of it looks. I was very surprised and happy with my pad Thai. They also checked that peanut was ok to top (I'm not allergic, but good to know they ask). The peanut sauce for the satay was literal perfection and everything I want in a good peanut sauce. They give a lot of it too They are relatively close so I will 100% be back to try their curries and hopefully dine in for a more thorough review. As far as the food goes, so worth it. read more

Restaurant was super packed. It didn't take long to be seated though. We came 10 minutes till 7 and we're seated within 5 minutes. The lights are a little dim. Chicken egg rolls came out fast. Followed by our pork fried rice, then my husbands shrimp pad Thai. The table next to us, All of their food came out shortly after my husband's pad Thai. My seafood pad Thai however didn't come out until 20 minutes after. By this time, our fried rice and my husbands pad Thai is not hot anymore and just kind of warm. The reviews were so promising. I'm sure my order was mixed around and there was some kind of misunderstanding. Our family eats when everyone's food is served. That's just how we are. In the end, they took care of us. The customer service is great. Didn't have to wait around for our water to get refilled. They were on top of it. Our server was very apologetic about the long wait for my pad thai. The food was delicious ; however, the staff appeared overwhelmed by the volume of customers. A young girl with braces displayed rudeness, repeatedly informing me that my wait would be approximately 40 minutes, seemingly encouraging me to cancel my order. I should have opted for a more affordable restaurant where I would have received superior customer service. It is unreasonable to work hard for a meal only to encounter poor service. These business owners need to train staff customer service even with the stress and overwhelm they should never show their expressions to customers ! read more

Super disappointed. I ordered sinlot/ beef jerky. I got unflavored well done steak slices and the most disappointing part is the dipping sauce was only Sriracha sauce. I over paid for this, if I lived closer to this restaurant I would've returned it. read more

One of my favorite restaurants in Fresno! My go to is the Pad See Ew and I get it medium spice. The medium spice is pretty hot, just as it is warned on the menu. I have also tried their Pad Thai, but I do like the Pad See Ew over the Pad Thai. The Pad Thai is more on the sweeter side if you prefer that. The mango salad is also very good! It's not too spicy in my opinion (definitely less spicy than medium spice for the Pad See Ew) and it's pretty refreshing. I'd also recommend the green curry if you like the slight taste of coconut and also like things sweet. We ate the curry with jasmine rice. The chicken in the green curry was a bit on the drier side but it wasn't overly dry as it is cut thinly and also because it is served with the sauce. Lastly we tried the three flavored fish fillets which was pretty tangy and sweet. read more

This is just my opinion so don't come for me :) One of my main dining pet peeves is when savory foods are made (overly) sweet. Both entrees I ordered were sweet to the point of tasting sugary and thus unappetizing. Aside from being too sweet, the curry had meat in it that was tough and leathery, like it was old leftovers thrown in, and there was probably a whole large onion sliced into the dish. The noodle dish was one big clump of congealed noodles, and also too sweet to enjoy. Will not go back and would not recommend. read more

This restaurant is one of a kind! The service is outstanding! Very friendly and attentive to customers! This is my second time coming inside the restaurant and I love the ambiance and cleanliness of it. Now the main topic: FOOD. The food is amazing. I cannot believe I have not reviewed Pad Thai restaurant yet. I love Thai food, and I love what Pad Thai has to offer. I'm sure that it is "Americanized", but it really is delicious. When you walk in, if you're a party of 4 or less, then you usually tell you to "sit at any square table", which I find is odd. Depending on the staff who is around, you may or may not get greeted as there is not real host area. There is room for seating both in the front of the restaurant and the back (near the register) for both those waiting for a table and those who are waiting to take food to go. I think Pad Thai is a little most costly than a "mom and pop" store, but I think its clean, good service and I think the portion sizes are good too for the prices. Average dish is $13-16, rice is an additional cost. I will say when I get the food to go, they give you nice plastic containers that keep the liquid nice and sealed. When I came with a friend we did family style with 2 dishes and we each got a side of rice, and there was so much leftovers. Same when I came with my parents, we ordered two plates, 3 sets of rice, we didn't touch one set of rice, and we had a portion of the curry left. My favorites in this order are (forgive my spelling): Panang Curry, Pad Se ew, Red Curry (Lots of veggies!!! :) ) and then the Pad Thai. Their Thai Iced Teas are delicious too- I recommend at least once. Forgive me, as I'm working my way through the menu! I think if you like Thai food, you will find something you enjoy here. Last Sunday, 9/17 we had a big party for my friend with over 20 people at the restaurant. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the staff in accommodating our requests and also the efficient service in getting all our orders. They were patient with us, despite all the noise of our party & seating challenges with trying to get everyone together. Overall, the restaurant was very gracious and accommodating. They were polite and though busy, were kind as well. We had a successful surprise birthday for my friend & everyone had a great time. Thank you, Pad Thai, for continuing the great service! Today was our first visit. We love Thai food and have had some good stuff in Fresno before. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They were quite busy so some of the follow up service was a little slow..not terrible though. They were working hard and always had smiles on their faces. Tried out this place on our way back from sequoia national park. This place has a lot of vegetarian options. I really liked the way they have had images for almost all the items on their menu. The lunch portion is a lot. Way more than I have expected. It's highly likely that you end up with to-go boxes. The service was fast and friendly. The Thai ice was yummy. A quick heads up. Any curry when ordered with vegetables or tofu has a very large quantity of vegetables in it (they include mushrooms) and the quantity of the gravy is relatively less. I personally love to have the vegetables in decent proportion along with the gravy but not abundance of vegetables over gravy. The mango with sticky was okay. I'm updating my review. I've been a long time customer (from when they first opened) and the service has definitely gone downhill. Food has become inconsistent in flavors (hit or miss). We use to get food catered from this place but has recently stopped due to these issues. They never pick up their phone (especially if the phone is an out of area) and make it difficult to support a restaurant with poor customer service and don't care about their customers. read more

Definitely my favorite thai restaurant. I've been coming here since they opened back in 2017, don't go as often as before only because it quite a distance from me. When at 5pm Sunday when they reopened there was already people waiting outside. A line started forming and we get seated right away, when it's not so busy they typically allow you to sit wherever you want. It's a spacious place lots of tables and chair. Our server was every nice and attentive. Within the hour we were there they made plenty of water refill rounds and checked up on us which I thought was great because previous times it wasn't that way. I always order the red curry, pad thai, drunken noodles, steam rice. Today we got the spring rolls as well. The spring rolls had veggies and shrimp tasted fresh usually used to having meat like pork in my spring rolls but they didn't offer it, it was different but good. The red curry is my favorite it has a coconut tastes it's really good with the white rice. The pad thai is on the sweet side, not too sweet I thought it was just perfect with squeeze of lime and you also have an option of choosing what type of meat you want for most of the dishes. The drunken noodles has a spicy kick but very tolerable and the noodles are thicker. I would highly recommend. read more

This place used to be my go-to place for ordering drunken noodles and pad Thai but after today's experience, I don't think I will return for quite some time. I ordered my food to go in person right when the opened. I ordered green curry, fried tentacles, crispy pork, and seafood drunken noodles. My experience while waiting there was fine. The wait was about 25-30 minutes. I people watched and listened to the conversations. I saw a kitchen staff come out to talk to the waitresses then overheard the waitress asking the customer on the phone if they could sub the pad Thai or chow mein noodles for their drunken noodles but I didn't think nothing of it. When I got home, I realized I should have been more suspicious and asked about what was wrong with regular drunken noodles. The drunken noodles the served me was completely mushy and tasted off. It was either drunken noodles left out at room temp too long or just borderline rotten. They had 25 minutes to proactively inform me but didn't say anything to me. They knowingly served me a low quality/bad batch of flat noodles didn't offer to give me a choice in choosing a different noodle or dish like they did for the customer after me. I was so unhappy with this discovery but I came on Yelp and read other people's reviews and learned that this restaurant doesn't do anything to make wrongs right so I am just going to consider this my last experience here for a while. For almost $20 each dish, I expect high quality but sadly, that was not my latest experience. Maybe I'll come back but if I do, I will avoid the drunken noodles here. This restaurant has the best veggie tofu soup! My Husband had a meal there one night with colleagues and called to tell me they have a veggie soup with no animal broth and did I want some brought home. Ummmm, yes! The veggies are crisp and visually beautifully prepared The tofu is nice and firm. The broth is nice and light. The portion size is amazing. My Husband loves their chicken satay. The soup is THAT good. It's now in my top 5 most craveable restaurant foods. I've never eaten inside the restaurant. This review is on how we were ignored and not acknowledged at all when my friend and I arrived. The sign said to wait to be seated so we waited ~15 minutes there and still no one approached us. We had to go up to the line where people were picking up their to go orders and ask them and they rudely told us that we just have to wait. Since we approached them and brought this up, they finally seated us. I'm not one to be nit picking about customer service, but we felt completely ignored as customers and we were understanding of the fact they're doing other tasks but 15 minutes of zero acknowledgement was ridiculous. Got there @7:35pm Guess what, "you can have a seat and wait we'll call your name when it's ready"........ right... I had to go up to ask for my order 20min after. Also, I said Tony over the phone and my name ended up being Cody, yet they didn't ask for correction on my order slip after entering and letting them know "it's Tony". What I ordered, Red Curry with chicken and mushroom added +3.00$; steamed rice; and chicken katsu... I mean it shouldn't take that long to make curry and deep fried chicken dipped in batter. Seems like they have 4 cooks in the back 1 table buster, and 4 waiters. Sure, there were like many others ordering ahead of me, and obviously they should know that because it's diner time? It's like why take online orders and phone orders if y'all can't even keep track of the orders or reach the time deadline y'all give your customers? Well last time here after deciding to come and try this place after 3 years. Now I remember why I stop coming to this place. It's the wait. Popped in on a whim cuz I wanted pad Thai and I'm glad I did! There is plenty of parking and they're open for take out, sadly no dine in. I was warmly greeted right as I entered by the kind cashier. She took my order and gave me a wait time. I ordered pad Thai and could not pass up on the sesame balls! I also got an order of egg rolls. Wait time was 15-20 mins. My little girl had to use the restroom and was happy to see how clean it was. The entire restaurant was tidy and well kept. Our food was ready on time and smelled delicious. The pad Thai had a good flavor but very close to a chow mein taste. I was really happy with the sesame balls and I'll be sure to always add them to my order. The egg rolls were yummy too! We arrived at 225 and were relieved that they were still taking lunch orders till 3pm. Many Asian restaurants stop taking orders at 230pm and re-open at 5pm. They offer a choice of 12 different lunch specials, available from 11am to 3pm. Each special comes with soup or salad, plus an appetizer of veggie egg rolls. We chose the Massaman Curry and the #1 Special Combo which consists of green curry, pad Thai and steamed rice. Both of our curries were medium spicy prepared with a delicate blend of spices that enhanced the flavor of the meat and veggies. The accompanying steamed rice and pad Thai noodles were freshly cooked and paired well with the flavorful curries. Our server made rounds frequently checking on us. The ambience is peaceful and perfect for a good conversation. At the neighboring table there were 2 students who appeared to be catching up on homework. This is definitely the place if you're looking for somewhere quiet without noisy tvs or music. For a 3 course lunch we paid: $13.95 for Massaman Curry and $15.50 for #1 Combo Special which was very reasonable for the amount of tasty food served. I ordered a pad thai, it was great don't get me wrong, but I found myself chewing into one of those twisting wires used to seal off the bread packages. Good thing I was able to spit it out and not swallow it. I brought it to the waitress' attention and all they did was take it from us and remake it. Luckily I didn't choke on it or whatsoever, but if I did it probably would've been a different story. Customer service was bad and I honestly lost my appetite from it.
