Pacos is one of those restaurants that does not get talked about very often, but has a pretty impressive menu. I ordered the trio fajitas, which came with chicken, shrimp, and steak. All three meats were just right and the accompaniments were great. The restaurant has a nice interior and the team was friendly, but a bit slow with the service.

Chips and Salsa...

Where do I start. Let me say that we were craving one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants but learned they close at 2:00 and open back up at 4:00 which lead us to next door. The reviews were interesting and spot on. I'll start with the Salsa. A Smokey thick based salsa that was missing flavor. My sis ordered the quesadilla and loved em. I tried one and it too lacked flavor. I opted to try something new. Tlacoyo a stew like dish. It was interesting but missed in flavor and felt microwaved. I doubt I would try it again. All in all a bit of disappointment. Service was great.

Cute place, good food, good drinks, decent service. I've been a few times since discovering this place, not yet disappointed.

Magnolia has become my new favorite There are still a handful of places I haven't tried and can't wait to make my way around to them all. This weekend we decided to check out Paco's. We walked in at around 1:00 on a Saturday and the place was nearly empty, I think people were waiting to get out and about that evening or maybe it's the Paco's isn't in the center of Magnolia's strip, but more on the far end. The place was clean, the menu small and to the point. We sat anywhere we wanted. The photos I've attached say it all! The food was delicious, the shrimp was my boyfriends favorite - he literally said second favorite shrimp he's ever had next to hibachi!! Their salsa was great, chips were replenished quickly & they were able to meet my request of a dairy free plate perfectly! We will definitely be back soon!

Boo!!!! Came here to eat only to find out that it's like a club at night but I came here at 11:07pm and the first thing I asked is if the kitchen was open and the dude upfront said it closed at 11pm I was 7mins past time but ok. I walk in and once you walk down those steps you smell piss and body odor and it's crowded. We sat down and there's just people partying and dancing. It's too closed in to have anybody try to dance in that small space. They has a slight breeze of cool air but for the most part it was soo steamy inside. While i waited for drinks I noticed somebody was eating tacos and I asked how she got it and she said that she just order it. So I called the waitress and asked her if the kitchen is open and she said yes. I informed her and she didn't seem to care and asked if I wanted it so yes I asked for each taco. The food! The tacos were trash and I'm saying this not because I was angry but because I was sober and the food was trash. Tortillas were hard and the meat had no flavor. Had to drown it in salsa because they had zero flavor. The portions of meat in the tacos were nice but it tasted bad like I don't know how to Describe it. The carnitas which just looked like steamed pork taste funny and what was supposed to be a birria taco omfg! Yo that was terrible it was just a big glob of fat thrown into a taco and served. I spit that crap on the floor that's how disgusting it was and I honestly didn't care who had to pick it up. If you look at the picture you can see the fat I just thee it in the trash. Seriously $21 for four tacos and two small cups of water. Hell no

Went here for a date night on a Thursday with the hubs. I had the birria tacos and my husband had the chicken fajita tacos. The birtia tacos were excellent. Very flavorful. We really liked their rice and the beans were okay too. The queso was okay but the salsa was fresh and spicy. I really liked the house Margarita. Our server was attentive and they music playing in the background. They have parking in the back, which is nice given the traffic on Magnolia Ave.

I was skeptical of this place because the reviews are so mixed but it's my friends favorite. The cocktails were delicioussss!! Must try. The fajitas were tender and so many onions and bell peppers which I love. The salsa has a nice kick to it, but the chips were slightly stale. The queso is, like on the menu, velveeta lol but they did a good job in adding flavor. Magnolia is also such a cute area to walk around before dinner to work up your appetite or after to bring down how much food you ate. Our server was so sweet and attentive.

Very good food and service. Enchiladas were a hit and you can't beat the steaming bubbling meat that comes out with the molcajete. Very cool place!

Pretty good. Ate at the bar with Rachel. She's the best. Nice lunch spot! We ate the tacos and my buddy ate the burrito.

Really good local Mexican restaurant in Fort Worth. We stumbled across it when looking for a place to have dinner on a Saturday evening. Service was great and fast and our waitress was very friendly. The decor inside is super cute and loved the murals of past Mexican artists. Gotta check it out, you'll love it!

Went to Pacos because the wait for the Cheesecake Factory downtown was two hours for our large group. It turned out pretty good. The quesa birria tacos were really good. Service was pretty good. Only complaint was the queso which had good flavor came out completely cold. Would have bumped up to 5 star review minus that. Setting was nice and right off the Fort Worth square. Give me a try.

Shrimp enchiladas with queso sauce
Timothy R.

Wanted to try something new. The service was decent when I came on a Monday evening. But the food is not good here. The chips and salsa are bland. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas with queso sauce as my entree. First off the queso looks and tastes like melted velveta. The rice tastes like it came out of a microwaved bag, and the refried beans seem like they came from a can. The house margarita was just ok. Nothing to rave about. There are so many good Tex-Mex food options in this area, needless to say I will not be spending any more of my money at this place

The inside.

We tried to go to another Mexican restaurant but it was outrageously expensive but the owner recommended we try Paco's! Thank you for the recommendation! We were eating early due to we were heading to the symphony! So the restaurant was not busy yet. I saw something on the menu I'd never seen before and had to give them a try, tlacoyos. I really enjoyed them. The margaritas were good as was the salsa.

However, I find the food to be quite a let down, not worth the price. I had the sourdough and it was good. I had the steak and fries for the main course with the upgrade cuts of steak. The fries were well seasoned however not all was good evenly and some over cooked and some undercooked. The steak was okay, the sears were bad and so was the overall flavor. Overall, I think it's a great place for a business meet up and if you are standing at the property but nothing too special. Note: this was lunch menu and I heard the burger here is good so many you can try that but I wouldn't recommend the steak at all.

They were very busy, so I definitely recommend making a res. The interior is very modern and trendy. Service was friendly and efficient! The breakfast burrito was filling and I loved the savory side of beans. Will be back!

What a place to brunch at! The look, the service, and the hospitality were awesome!…read more Our cocktails were perfectly blended and refreshing, quite dangerous if you ask me. Now for the food, everything was portioned greatly, more on the heavier side, which you will not hear me complain about because the prices are higher. So for my Chicken Jalapeño Cheddar omelet, I appreciated the leftovers. My only con was the shredded chicken was not seasoned, so after taking my first bite, it seemed dry and bland. My extra salsa and cheese helped it along the way, but I would have wanted something to be there. Loved our waiter, very sweet and attentive. The wait time was reasonable; they were busy but definitely bringing plates out of the kitchen in a timely manner. If you're looking for an elevated brunch feel, this is your place, a great place to host a reasonable 5-6 person dining experience!

We opened with a cocktail from the bar, which set a high bar for what followed -- unfortunately, not everything cleared it. The Deviled Eggs with Spicy Best Maid Pickles arrived looking the part, four to an order, but tasted like they'd forgotten to show up to their own party. Bland, flat, and in desperate need of seasoning, we reached for the salt shaker, which helped, but shouldn't have been necessary. The pickles, to their credit, were doing their absolute best and were genuinely the only flavor happening on that plate. Skip these. The pickles deserve better supporting cast. The Cheeseburger with Wasp Sauce on a potato bun, however, is a different story entirely. We ordered it medium, half expecting the kitchen to interpret that however it pleased, but it arrived cooked exactly as requested, which felt like a small victory worth celebrating. The Wasp Sauce is a mystery worth solving, and the house-made chips that come alongside are fresh, crisp, and dangerously snackable. Pro tip: order a side of ranch for dipping. You're welcome. We also added a side of fries, which were equally excellent. No notes. Little Red Wasp has real charm, great energy, a fun bar, and a cheeseburger worth crossing Main Street for. Just steer clear of the deviled eggs and order the chips with abandon.

Very upscale area so the inside is upscale PRICE: ~$70 I think WOULD I COME BACK? The fried chicken and kale salad complemented each other so well I highly recommend as well. - The deviled eggs were good but they are just basic so you can skip those (unless if you were craving it). - The pimento cheese was very good too it was packed with flavor. We started with the biscuits and cinnamon roll. I would recommend both. The biscuits came with a jam, honey and whipped butter. The cinnamon roll, which may look a bit underwhelming had a such a great crispy texture on the outside while still being fluffy on the inside. The icing wasn't too sweet and complimented the roll nicely. For the table, we had the pollo frito biscuit w/duck fat potatoes, Brisket Benedict w/okra and the Fixe Breakfast entree w/maple sausage and potatoes. The pollo Frito was delicious, the chicken was seasoned well and maintained crunch even within the biscuit. Duck fat potatoes were also good but were even better after adding some salt. The brisket benny was okay, the texture of the brisket was very odd and didn't really hold up to the egg. Although the okra had a great flavor the batter was a bit too thick which made it chewy. The Fixe breakfast was great and the maple sausage was perfect. Our waitress was Adriana, she was great and very helpful. Overall we would definitely come back and look forward to trying dinner one night.

However the bathroom sinks may just be an elaborate prank pulled on every guest of this hotel. There are many photos already on here, but the pictures don't do it justice. The sink is approximately 7" x 12", and has a mirror jutting out over a portion of it, leaving you with roughly 4-5" of functional sink space. This will be the smallest sink you've ever used in your life (and I've spent lots of time in NYC and Chicago, where I've used some very small sinks). Need to wash your hands? You're getting water on your feet. Shave? Better wear a bathing suit. Wash your face? A wetsuit is recommended. Accidentally turn the water on too high when doing any of the above?
