We were told the Fed Ex store on Ray rd. opened at 8 am the next day. The store was locked and dark til past 8:15 - when the girl showed up, we asked what time do you open? She said 8am. Had to mail off a package as my suitcase was full and didn't want to have to carry it with me…read morethrough the airport. Found this location on Google as it was the closest to my friend's apartment. As I arrived there was very little parking in this parking lot which was kind of annoying since I did have a heavy Box. However a spot came open near the ice shop at the last minute. I was able to park right out front and get my package inside the store. As for this particular UPS store. I was frustrated that there was only one person working and the line got pretty long because there was only 1 person working. Now the root of the line being so long was not really due to a UPS issue, it was due to a Amazon return. When I say Amazon return I mean to say a woman with 20 different Amazon returns, nothing in packages and not having her return image ready for each item. So it kind of boils down that the UPS worker should have kind of corrected this person and said get your stuff in order and then I will assist you assist you however instead he made a bunch of clients that were waiting to spend money shipping through UPS. I probably waited 15 minutes to mail off one package that was ready to go. I almost left I almost left but I really enjoy the ease of the UPS tracking app over the United States Post Office tracking program. Finally the worker did my Box and the woman still had 10 more packages to go I just feel bad that he didn't rain this lady in sooner. I'll. I like the convenience of being able to drop off Amazon stuff at UPS but at a certain point you have to make UPS customers the priority when you have people that are not prepared to return their items.

Someone was critical of Chandler's personality - how mean. Chandler is a very nice, polite person and on the quiet side. I find this store to have excellent customer service - one day I had bags of old documents to be shredded and one bag tore while I was outside. My papers were all over the parking lot and one of the young men dropped what he was doing and went outside to help me collect the papers. I didn't ask him to help - he didn't have to do this - it meant so much to me that he came to my aid immediately. Someone posted a review that they were upset with having to buy a shipping box - this is not the fault of the store. If you read your return instructions it will say if you need packaging, or not - don't blame the UPS store because you didn't read the instructions - and if you made a mistake they will sell you packing materials. This is a great neighborhood store and I drive almost 5 miles to get here when I have a UPS store that's less than a mile from my home. I appreciate the entire staff of this store. Even with a wait to return my Amazon packages, they workers have been courteous. They had enough staff to move the lines quickly. As of December of this 2024 year, I can say that this location has greatly improved!

It's actually cheaper and faster to ship USPS priority flat rate box. Three days with USPS vs 6-10…read moredays with UPS. And when they say delivery is between 2PM and 5PM that means you may see it at your front door by 8PM.....or later. Ooops, there won't be anybody at home at 8PM so the porch pirates will grab it.

When I was 8 years old, my father took me out for my first surfing lesson. He shared that same custom board, and I rode that board for the first 4 years of my surfing life. Now being that it was a 14 lbs. and a fiberglass longboard with a 11" single fin. It's an odd shape. I was in a tough spot with a limited time frame to get the board shipped to me where I live in Chicago, Illinois. I had contacted 6 different locations. Note, that 3 out of the 6 said "sure we can ship it". But once we got to those locations, they looked at the size and shape and declined to ship. They were also quoting me $1200 to $2000. I was panicked and running out of time. I called Navis Pack & Ship in Phoenix, Arizona. Not only were they gracious, kind and understood what this board meant to me. They promised to take good care of the board and package it the right way for its journey to Chicago.
