I started receiving treatments from Viktoriya about 6 years ago for a herniated disc injury from…read moremany years earlier. The pain was greatly reduced after the first visit and over time the treatments I received on my low back kept me able to continue my lifestyle. Currently the 22 year old injury is the least pain free it's ever been and I rarely require attention in that area. Over the years Viktoriya worked with me on various other issues and taught me more about how Chinese medicine could be used in healing. The list of therapy that I've received includes: cupping, heat therapy for hand joints, knee surgery post therapy, treating nerve damage, shoulder pain, elbow pain, and knee pain. Aside from the physical benefits I've received from acupuncture, I also received a series of treatments called the 8 Extraordinary Vessels. The process quickly became noticeable in my daily life with a more confident and positive attitude. I had a better awareness of myself and of the world. My state of mind became less motivated by fear and anger and more motivated by love and kindness. By the end of the 8 sessions I no longer had symptoms of PTSD or chronic anxiety. I felt like I had a re-birth and the condition of my mental health had been greatly improved. I was so amazed at the change in my quality of life that I've begun the process again for the second time. As much as her techniques of healing are successful, and I will continue my journey with Viktoriya as part of my team, she is also a very kind and caring person. Much of my knowledge about the world of healing started with conversations that we had. Her interest in helping people expands beyond her job and she has a genuinely big heart that is shared with the community. I know that if I'm ever in need, Viktoriya will do all she can to help. Anyone would feel comfortable talking to her not just as a medical help professional, but also as a friend. I highly recommend opening up a conversation with her and beginning a newer, healthier and happier life.

I usually just pick apart what they're doing, spending my time analyzing instead of enjoying my session. But, when I go in for my appointment her professional demeanor and skill set allow me to just "be" and enjoy my own healing time so I can keep giving my clients the best of my ability. It's rare for me to find a therapist who is as in tune with my body and can work through my sensitivities with compassion, proper amounts of strength and aptitude. You'd think every cmt can, but it's rare gift, and she's got it! The ambiance of her studio was carefully crafted, and the table & cradle for your face is soft and cushy. She always asks about my temperature preferences and makes me feel included in my experience. If you're looking for a versatile and skilled massage therapist, please give her a try.

I stopped by Visions Salon in Pacifica today hoping to purchase a $100 gift certificate. A woman…read morecame out and asked what I was there for, and I explained I wanted a gift certificate--most likely for a pedicure, but possibly a massage, depending on what the recipient wanted. Since Visions advertises a range of services, I assumed this wouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately, I was told that because there was no manager on site and the person who does pedicures wasn't there, she couldn't sell me a gift certificate. She was polite and apologized, but that was it--no gift certificate, no card, no menu, no information on who to contact or how to follow up. I simply walked out empty-handed. Totally turned away. Looking back, I should have known better. Last year, I received a Visions gift certificate. When I tried to make an appointment (I live nearby), I was told they couldn't schedule me and that I needed to call the number on the card. I called twice and left my number both times--no one ever called me back. That was enough for me. My mom had a similar experience. She booked a massage, showed up, and the masseuse was a no-show. She rescheduled, only for the masseuse to reschedule on her--twice. Eventually, the times offered no longer worked, and she gave up and never went back. Overall, this place is just a hassle--from purchasing gift certificates to booking and keeping appointments. There's a clear lack of organization and follow-through. Save yourself the frustration and don't bother.
