Want to save time, money, stress, and multiple headaches..? Read on... I cannot put into words how special we felt selecting our 3 heirloom Quartzite slabs for our kitchen remodel. Before I describe our experience here, let me tell you of the experience we had at 7+ other locations over the past month of searching... Picking out our counters turned into a nightmare. One location after another and every one of them "selling" us something. Looking back, we now know some of the slabs we almost purchased would have been wrong. Many had damage and imperfections. Yet, we were left to find them and point them out. Rinse and repeat, this was our experience location after location. We trusted our "gut." Fast forward, we were told to go to Pacific Shore Stones. We took a trip, over an hour drive, and it was the last company we had to visit for our 3 gorgeous slabs. The location is beautiful, clean, well lit, and inviting. I mentioned to my wife I felt like we were in cafe with a "personal shopper." All of the staff was very professional and eager to assist. Not once did they make us feel uncomfortable for opening up multiple slabs for viewing. Additionally, there were a few slabs that had damage to them. I couldn't see it until it was pointed out to us. Fissures mainly but it was nice to have the person showing us point out the issues we may have when installing. The experience was much more comfortable than other locations we have looked at. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Nothing negative. They had granite, quartzite, marble, dolomite, and quarts from the top manufacturers. It gave us an opportunity to buy what was right for us. Once we locked in the slabs that were needed for our project, Leo had them transferred quickly to the fabricator. Also, Pacific Shore Stones is open on Saturdays (while a lot of other slab suppliers are not) and happily moved slabs around for me to get a last look to be 100% certain of my earlier choices. If you are looking for the best, most knowledgeable and helpful staff at a stone slab store, look NO further! I decided it was time for an upgrade from my old granite counters. I researched places to check out different stones. I didn't want marble because it stains and has way more upkeep. I didn't want granite again but I wanted natural stone so that ruled out quartz. What I discovered was that I wanted Quartzite. My daughter has just completed her kitchen remodel and installed quartzite and it is beautiful. I like the wild and natural veins in stone but my husband doesn't. I like darker stone and my husband likes light. I went all over Anaheim looking at quartzite. I even went where Home Depot goes, but was only allowed ti pick from 4 stone varieties if I wanted the discount. The moment I walked into Pacific Shores in Irvine, I knew I would be buying stone slabs from them. I went back 5 times looking at different stones. I originally thought I would have to settle for quartz as my husband wanted it but when I saw the beautiful leathered quartzite, this was the stone for me. To make a long story short I ended up with my favorite gray stone called Dark Allure. It goes perfectly with my color scheme. I chose the leathered finish rather than polished. It looks so natural. All the sales staff including Giovanna and Stephan along with the owners were outstanding in helping me Select the best slabs. Never did they make me feel like I was taking too long to decide what I wanted. Even the day I selected the slabs they moved several around for me. Some other places only allow you to look at one slab and they say the other slabs are similar. I was waiting to write this review until my over the range hood is installed and the refurbished cupboards are finished but there is a big delay on delivering my hood. I will update the photos once the entire kitchen is completed. I could not be happier with my counters. If you want to know who fabricated my counters let me know. They did an amazing job too. You don't need to look any further for a place to buy your slabs whether it be marble, granite, quartz, or quartzite. You do not need to go to Anaheim to select the best. This is the only store you need to check I have done all the legwork for you. :) read more

Where do I even begin?! Adriana, her husband, and Rachel treated us like we were long time close friends since the moment we contacted them searching for the perfect stone to put in our kitchen. They are such a kind, professional, and highly experienced team when it comes to everything about stones! We were on the hunt for the Ijen Blue Quartzite, and this is the only location that had it, and when we got there we couldn't help but notice they have so many exotic options. Never did we feel rushed or forced into buying anything, and that made the experience seamless for us, we were already stressed about our whole kitchen renovation, but Adriana and her team eased that stress for us when it came to educating us about the stones and making sure we picked the one that will make our dream kitchen come to life. We love this place and the people who work here. Here's why... We came here after a long and unsuccessful day of searching for countertops. We were welcomed in even though it was just before closing. Alex walked us around and listened to what we wanted, not trying to push any product on us. We came upon soapstone, which we had never used before. Alex and Leo both spent time educating us on the material, showing us multiple slabs. Long story short, we walked out with 3 beautiful slabs of soapstone and one of quartz and could not be happier. He was so very helpful in explaining the process of working with them; showing me all the different types of stones and how they are made and function; and more importantly, working with my budget. I went to the stone places in Anaheim recommended by my contractor and friends and did not experience as great customer service nor did anyone seem willing to work with me and my budget. I am an uncompensated customer who purchased three Audacia Quartzite slabs and looking to buy a fourth... Occasionally, one is fortunate to cross paths with people that one would like to befriend because of the integrity, honesty, and sincerity that they not only exude, but validate in action. And, when that combination is coupled with professionalism, expertise, and zealous enthusiasm to help customers, then that's a royal flush like winning a Megamillions jackpot at a gas station as you serendipitously fuel up. Such is the case with the staff (Adriana, Leo, Alex), all of whom are welcoming and as refreshing as quenching a caipirinha on a scorching summer blaze. But, don't let their hospitality and easy demeanor fool you; they are all experts in their respective fields. It's a dynamic team, and surely one that won't disappoint with Adriana's keen sense of style and design expertise. For me, I was increasingly frustrated and confused by the seemingly endless variety of slabs from granite, quartz, quartzite, soapstone, marble, onyx, etc. which was exacerbated by the nuances of tones, shades, sheen, texture, warmth, cool, stark, etc. Apparently, with that deer-in-the-headlight look, that's when the sympathetic design guru, Adriana thankfully came to the rescue to gently and methodically untangle and reconstruct my preferences and priorities to manifest into reality what I only imagined erratically. For others, however, should one know exactly what one wants, then there is always the affable, unassuming, and respectful Leo to scour his database and satellite branches to hunt down relentlessly and precisely one's exact specifications, eliciting visions of a starved Komodo Dragon. And then, when it comes to closing the deal, one understands that a firm handshake from Alex is better than any contract, and an iron-clad guarantee that what was requested and agreed will be. One senses that he is the firewall, and that he will not permit anyone or anything to disrupt or compromise his commitment and reputation. He is reminiscent of a battle-tested warrior who simply executes quietly, invisibly, and without fanfare. Though they are both Brazilian, you will be a little thrown off by her NY accent (vs his Brazilian accent). She is a gem with such a fun loving personality. She is so kind and giving in her services/knowledge; doing her best to help. Coming to meet her is worth the visit. Even if you don't see something there, they can help search for something in their other warehouses, ie LA or N. CA etc. Unfortunately for me, the quartzite I liked was taken and time wasn't on my side. Their prices are competitive. I live in OC, but am remotely remodeling a house 200 miles away! Adriana helped me find some beautiful slabs of quartz for my new kitchen. She happily arranged for them to be shipped to their sister store up north. Just the other day, I found out that we would be needing another slab to complete the project. I again went to the Irvine store thinking I could either get one more slab of the same quartz or would be picking out something totally different for my island. I knew that she would be helpful with the design elements and confirmed what I had already been thinking. When considering the floor grain, cabinet colors, backsplash, we'd be adding too many different materials and the kitchen would lose its cohesiveness. I stumbled upon this place while looking for a counter top for my kitchen. After spending a futile day in "Tile Row" , Anaheim, Pacific Shore was an eye opener! Right here in Irvine and their selection of quartz and granite is second to none. The owners, Alex and Adriana were friendly and helpful, and Adriana even had some really good design suggestions! Went here to choose quartzite slabs for our kitchen remodel, the centerpiece of our design. I had already chosen a slab, but the salesman suggested another type of stone. It was beautiful and we decided to go with it. A week after I left and was waiting for the fabricators to cut and install the slabs, I was advised that they actually did not have the number of slabs I needed. After working with my designer we found what we needed at DALTILE in Anaheim. I can't understand why this salesperson would offer me a set of slabs that were not available to sell and I don't understand why it took a WEEK to let me know I'd need to do something else. I'm in the middle of trying to supervise 2 young children through virtual schooling and honestly cannot afford this huge waste of my time. I know these businesses are dealing with repercussions of COVID, but so are the clients and the complete disregard for my time is so disappointing. read more

I shopped many of the slab yards in Anaheim and south Orange County looking for kitchen countertops. Pacific Shores Stones was by far the best. They have a great selection of slabs and knowledgeable staff who are willing to help. If you go to a few yards, you will quickly realize how rare this is. Rachel patiently worked with me to find the perfect countertop. She had slabs moved around the warehouse so that I could view all the slabs available and in different lights. When I finally decided on a specific quartzite, we realized that the size of the slabs in stock were too small to do my counters with one slab. Buying two slabs would have doubled my cost and resulted in a lot of waste. Rachel not only found me a bigger slab to do the entire job, she found me one with the perfect pattern and flow. She is also an artist and she applied her talents to finding my slab. It has subtle veins that naturally curve with the bend in the counter and bold veins for the island. Fantastic.
