From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful, he even did a layout of my kitchen right away so I knew exactly how many slabs to purchase. Dale also connected me directly to a warehouse that had exactly what I wanted and was always transparent about pricing, which I really appreciated. My husband and I originally planned to go with quartz countertops for the look of natural stone without the maintenance. But after doing lots of research and seeing quartzite in a real kitchen, we made the switch. It's been one of the best decisions!!! Marble Yard (not to be confused with The Yard) was the third place we visited. I was already overwhelmed from the other two showrooms, but Dale and his team were so helpful in helping us narrow down our options. He asked for our measurements, input them into a design app, looked at our floor/cabinet samples, and really listened to what we wanted. We told him we were looking for quartzite that resembled marble, and he showed us a leathered Bianco Superiore quartzite slab that was absolutely stunning. The leathered finish has a matte, textured feel where you can actually feel the veins--unlike honed, which is matte but smooth. It wasn't what I expected, but we were both instantly drawn to it. Dale also gave us great recs for tile installers and fabricators, all fairly priced. Total bonus: he's been on multiple HGTV shows as a stone and design expert! Everyone who visits wants to touch our countertops and asks about them. They are also very easy to maintain, even with young kids. Huge thanks to Dale and the Marble Yard team! Dale and I had a misunderstanding about some repair work on some stone and as time went on we failed to connect. I posted a less than stellar review as I thought I was just being ignored after the long duration. That lasted about an hour. I had the pleasure of meeting Dale while looking for quartzite stone slabs at a reasonable price. I was in the area looking at other slab yards and decided at the last minute to stop by the Marble Yard without realizing I would need a reservation. Fortunately for me, I ran into Dale in the parking lot as he was packing up to leave. He was kind enough to show me the (large) selection of quartzite. They were all truly beautiful and although it was difficult to decide, I was able to make a decision before leaving (after searching for months!) Even more fortunately for me, or rather my boyfriend, Dale was able to create renderings using my cabinet design and the actual slabs I was purchasing. These renderings looked like actual pictures and made it so easy for my boyfriend to visualize what our kitchen would like. During that time, we ran into an issue with our cabinet company and Dale recommended we use Edgar of Madrigal Cabinets, with whom he has worked with on multiple occasions. Not only was Edgar wonderful, but our cabinets turned out absolutely beautiful. We also worked with Dale's fabricator who was amazing. He even created my sink out of some of the quartzite slab, customizing it even further to incorporate our workstation sink components. Dale gave us the name of our slab sealer, Jorge of Stone Restoration who was willing to come back to seal a small area of the counter top that needed to dry out after someone left water on the yet unsealed countertop. And lastly, Dale also worked with me on marble counter tops for my bathrooms as well as helping me find a beautiful black quartzite to use for my hearth. It wasn't until after working with Dale that I came to find out he, Edgar and Victor all work with such HGTV designers as Jasmine Roth. I can not recommend Dale, Edgar, Victor and Jorge enough. He took a photo of the slab of quartzite I was considering, he put that actual photo into his computer along with my kitchen measurements, and did some magic with his software, and I could see how the actual piece of quartzite would be cut for my kitchen. First time home owners and since we were building small we decided to go big on kitchen material. We originally sought after Super White Quartzite but after going to Marble Yard and meeting Dale it was like fate that we choose this slab. Couldn't be more happier with the finish project. From concept to finish, after sitting down with Dale and learning more about our ideas and color preference although he had Super White available he suggested Bianco Superiore (Quartzite) since it was a beautiful natural stone. We glance at in person, did a double take, visited a few other yards after and decided Dale and his slabs was the right fit for us. He then discuss with his fabricator, and plotted the cut out and manage to fit everything we wanted: countertops, full backsplash, and waterfall island with extra BONUS our vanity top with the extra pieces. No wasted material It was like Tetris how they taped the cut outs and learning about the kitchen slabs and piecing together the book match veinings in the natural stone. Dale was impatient and over price. My experience: I trusted Dale based upon his affiliation with Jasmine. Our experience was awful. He took us to a stone yard with many choices (not his business) and we saw a marble slab we liked. There were six or eight slabs from the same cut. We needed four slabs for our project. When I asked about looking at each slab he said it wasn't necessary they were all similar. I called our contractor to let him know we found our stone. He asked the price and when I told him he asked me to please wait for him and he would meet us there. When our contractor arrived we showed him our choice. He had all of the slabs taken out for us to examine and we were able to choose four that were book-matched AND that had the fewest imperfections. Our contractor spoke to the sales person and our cost was just over 1/3 - ONE THIRD (plus a little more) of what Dale quoted us! We also got free storage at the yard until our contractor was ready to put the counters in our new kitchen. I say go to a reputable stone yard NOT Dale Yanda. read more

We met up with Rodrigo and Dale this morning, just to see what types of slabs they had. These guys are just ahhhh-maaaazing!!!! Rodrigo is very knowledgeable about the different types of slabs best used for countertops, showed us a video of how engineered quartz is made, and helped explain the differences between the different materials. We were blown away by his enthusiasm and honesty. Dale is amazing with his eye for beauty and is definitely an interior designer at heart. He explained how the process works, encouraged us to be involved by providing as much information about our dream kitchen and listened!! We aren't starting our total kitchen remodeling until later this year, but I am definitely coming back to these guys!! They truly made the experience fun, exciting and enjoyable!! We decided to enlarge our peninsula and use white quartz, which I love. I didn't think it would be a problem to find a slab, but as its large, it became an issue. I spent hours on the phone looking for the white quartz in correct size. Then I happened upon The Marble Yard & read some reviews..I called Cecelia By now I was panicking as our contractor was about to take out my granite and peninsula & I cannot locate a large piece of quartz. From the moment Cecelia picked up the phone, she was the calming voice I needed to hear and she assured me The Marble Yard can and would help us. The fireplace turned out beautifully! We are so happy with every detail of the process and the end results turned out even better than we had planned! Thank you for such wonderful work. The fireplace is perfect. Even better, they used the unused piece of marble from inside the fireplace to cover an existing end table so now we have a beautiful end table that coordinates with the fireplace! The Marble Yard in Anaheim is the best place to shop for stone slabs. I went to five other yards and most of the slabs were damaged and chipped. The other benefit of The Marble Yard is after you purchased your slab, and specifically choose where you want your template to be placed,any of your left over stone is displayed on a remnant section of their lot, and they give you a check! You will not regret choosing Marble Yard. It's been a month since our quartzite countertops were installed and we could not be more pleased with the results. Dale and his team (Cecilia, Freddie, Jorge and Rodrigo) are simply excellent. They have a huge selection of slabs to choose from. His entire team is professional and show care in their work. They are responsive to any questions or concerns. Dale, however, takes the experience to another level. He is truly passionate about his work. He did not try to upsell to marble (which was what we were initially interested in) knowing that our son likes to cook. 4/1/14-Our home is completed on the inside and our kitchen is one of my favorite new spaces! I LOVE ( we LOVE) our Princess White quartzite that we bought from Marble Yard in Anaheim! Dale & Edgar are the best and if you are in the market for any stone - I suggest you go there first! Save yourself lot's of time! Here are a few pic's of our kitchen: Today, 2 days after my stone was installed, Eduardo (one of Dale's fabricators) sent his 4 guys to install our beautifully cut coffee niche counter that they made with my leftover quartzite - it fit in the cabinet PERFECTLY! ;) Unfortunately, I can't send pictures yet because I have too much going on downstairs with my remodel to unwrap / unprotect my island and counters.....I will post as soon as I can.....I promise! I am a very happy customer! ******************************************* So....4 men showed up to install my princess white beautiful quartzite this afternoon....it looks amazing! My husband had not seen the stone until he came home from work this evening.....he was quite pleased. The installers that Dale had recommended did a great job and will return in the next few days with a counter top for a coffee niche area we designed using the left over prices of stone. (They had to cut it at their shop.) I will post pictures when I get that piece put in -- stay tuned! Start your search here, and you won't need to waste precious time at other Anaheim slab yards. The selection is excellent, both indoors and outside. Pricing is extremely reasonable, and the slabs I liked were much less expensive than the 'big name' showrooms on State College. For our bathroom remodel, we needed a 36" piece of marble for the vanity top. We went to kitchen and building supply stores as well as big box home improvement stores and even a number of marble yards. We were consistently met with the same 3 options. Option 1 was to buy a giant slab of marble which was far more than we needed. Option 2 was to buy a 37" prefab piece and shave 1/2" off each side at an additional cost. Option 3 was to get a custom piece for the same price as the giant slab of marble. It seemed so illogical that I couldn't get exactly what I needed for the fraction of the slab price so we kept looking. It was a revelation to find Marble Yard in Anaheim. Their selection of marble and granite is fantastic. Walking through their yard is like being in outer space. You could spend hours studying the colors, veining, and crystals in their product. On our first visit, Dale showed us Carrera, Calcultta and gorgeous marbles from Africa. What differentiates Marble Yard from other supplies is that they sell remnant pieces. If someone else has used 70% of a slab for a kitchen counter top, he'll sell you the rest for your vanity. Or conversely, if you identified a slab that was to your liking, you can just buy what you need so long as you leave enough of the slab for someone else. As such, the pricing is dependent on how much you use or don't use. Dale is the guy to talk to and the only guy who can price slabs for you. The other employee, Edgar, can show you around and answer some other questions but when it comes to dollars and cents, you'll need to talk to Dale. Sometimes, you're the only customer at the yard as was the case during our first visit. Sometimes, everyone wants Dale's input about design and pricing and there is a long queue to speak with him. Put on your "willing to wait" hat and just bear it. We decided on a piece of Carrera marble and used approximately 40% of it for our vanity top and for our shower thresholds. We used our own installer and we're really happy with the results and the price. read more
