After a leaking pipe wrecked the downstairs of our house we needed a new kitchen. We came up with a layout (I'm an engineer and have some history with this...) and we started to look around. Local companies in Mission Viejo/Irvine wanted a small fortune for what we wanted so we thought we'd go further afield. There are a lot of kitchen places in this area and we wound up here. The sales guy that dealt with us was Roger, and he is a laid back, non pushy guy. Easy to get along with and knowledgeable too. Cabinet Factories Outlet was about 35% CHEAPER than the local kitchen places for the identical brand and finish of kitchen. It was still a hell of a lot of cash, but it was I think the best price we'd have got it. They have a bit selection of brands and finishes to look at. A handful of made up kitchens that look a bit worse for wear too. When we were near to ordering, Roger came to measure up and finalize things. There were a couple of items that were not included (some decor panels and spare sections of trim) but overall he got all of the sizes right. His communication was decent and they were flexible with charge options across credit cards etc. The only downsides were that they don't produce colored rendered drawings, and I know that 2020 kitchen design software CAN do this. So the drawings were a little confusing. Also, I had to re-order some parts that my installer screwed up and dealing with Roger's colleagues was not so much fun. They gave the impression that they couldn't have cared less. I think the negative reviews on here are probably about those people! The kitchen is fitted and looks great, although a dark stained Kemper brand kitchen doesn't look like it will wear very well. It is easily marked. read more

I started out thinking this was a really good business. I ordered a bathroom vanity with a tower from them. When I got home and opened the box, the tower had door panels on the sides. This is not what I ordered. I reached out to them asking them to correct the order. After a great deal of arguing from them that they could never make a mistake, they agreed to order a new tower and refund me the difference. When it came time for the refund my money, another lengthy battle ensued. I even spoke to one of the owners and I now know where the employees learned their horrible customer service. Unless you are wanting to get hung up on and yelled at as part of your customer experience, I recommend you find another cabinet shop that appreciates their customers. read more

When I bought the cabinets I said "No MDF". The cabinet doors and drawer fronts turned out to be MDF. I also complained the cabinets were not square and cabinet faces were warped. It was impossible to align the cabinet doors to Not Rub. They sent out a "professional installer" to attempt to address rubbing doors. The installer confirmed the doors could not be properly aligned, the cabinets faces were warped and cabinet were not square. After they heard back from their installer they never returned my calls. read more

We went to several places and we chose this company. The service was great from the beginning. They have obviously been here a long time and it has a small business with personalized service about it. They have many different cabinets each with different shelving within the doors which helped us make a decision. The owner, Tom was more than patient as my wife went with one design to a completely different design of our bathroom vanity and then back to the original with her changing the drawer and door sizes. We have placed our order and I will update this review after we get the vanity. I especially like the fact that they did not try to up-sell us on anything. Really a zero star for me. I came in on a slow Thursday to look at options for my kitchen remodel. Not only did no one help me with my search, no one even said HELLO! like really? You can't even greet your customer who might be dropping thousands of dollars with you. There were a few guys sitting in the office area when you first walk in, no word from them. There were a few people in the warehouse part, still not even a Hello, or welcome, or how can I help you. Call me old fashioned but I believe a company needs to EARN my business. read more

He has the ability to blend his extensive knowledge with a supportive patience that made the whole selection and purchasing process so much less stressful and reassuring. His willingness to provide comparison costs across different cabinet companies was invaluable in helping to manage budget considerations. I bought a 48" bath vanity. It seriously required a professional contractor and myself 5 + hours to fix and adjust the drawer pieces together. Both of us have done cabinet work on numerous occasions. Sadly my mother passed away so I wasn't able to put the cabinet together during the 30 day period. The bottom pieces of the drawers didn't even come a little close to fitting. Not square. Whoever calculates the cutting machines at the factory seriously needs to recalculate so the pieces have a chance at fitting together. The pieces at the bottom of the drawer where the slide goes totally broke off on all drawers. I dread seeing if the drawer slide hardware ( that was NOT included- which I PAID FOR) will even fit or work ! VERY VERY VERY POOR QUALITY. MAKE SURE PAY THE EXTRA MONEY TO HAVE CABINETS PUT TOGETHER BEFORE YOU BUY AND TAKE THESE HOME. read more

We purchased an entire new kitchen of Kemper Cabinets from Robert at Cabinet Factories Outlet (CFO) and are super happy, I highly recommend Cabinet Factories Outlet, especially Robert. I am an engineer originally and have done quite a lot of project management, so I am detailed and picky. Robert was fantastic, my wife and I walked in and Robert happily helped us right away. He did several design iterations with us and had great suggestions each time. Before placing final order Robert came to our home to verify measurements. We then hired a custom cabinet maker to install the cabinets. When it came time to deliver (ahead of schedule by the way), Robert pulls up in the truck and wheels in the cabinet boxes! Our cabinet installer also gave high praise to Robert, Kemper Cabinets and CFO- he said the install was as smooth as a custom cabinet job, while saying usually installing pre-made cabinets has all kinds of challenges. He said the key was that Robert came to the house to verify measurements. The installer said all the notes Robert wrote on the design drawings were accurate and helpful. We shopped around at other cabinet suppliers and found Cabinet Factories Outlet to be the least expensive. We are extremely happy to have all plywood construction, American made cabinets, for the same money other kitchen remodelers were quoting asian made, particle board cabinets. Our new kitchen looks beautiful, and Robert + Cabinet Factories Outlet was a huge part of it. Thank you guys! read more

Unfortunately my experience was not very good. We were real excited about going to this place as my sister had recommended it. We had presented our kitchen plan and he kept trying to persuade us to change our plan. Then he kept telling us how expensive it would be to have this kitchen, telling us how much money we would be spending...and laughing at the same time. Really weird sales pitch. He also kept trying to recommend that we move our ovens to the other side of the kitchen telling us the rules to laying out the kitchen, then would say, "sorry if I am being rude" which was irritating. I felt like saying "then stop being rude!" I do not like it when negative non-factual random comments are stated about other companies, that to me, is very unprofessional, which is what this sales person did. It seemed like he was not interested in us and wanted us to leave, because he kept saying "the drawing will take an hour" maybe because he knew we were installing the cabinets ourselves. I do not know, all I know is that I was glad to leave. I do not recommend this place at all they get a "F" for customer service. I had been to this store years before when redoing my last kitchen. I live about 30 minutes from Anaheim, so even though they had really nice cabinets I decided it would be too big of a hassle to get all the cabinets home. I was always sorry I didn't go with them because the cabinets I ended up buying were not as good quality and I paid just as much for them. Fast forward to today. I am once again re-doing a kitchen so I decided I would go back to this store and buy from them if thier prices were still good. A salesman named Robert helps us. He spent about an hour inputting cabinet for us into the system never once asking us what we wanted, we only gave him measurements. After he was done and printed them out and gave us a price, I asked him to increase the pantry size and change two of the bases to drawers. All of the sudden he got nasty and told me he wasn't going to play this game with me. He said I want you to buy these cabinets today and all I'm hearing is your concern about the price. Huh? Doesn't everyone want to know how much they are paying before they buy something? We walked out and I had to stop myself from crying on the way home. I really wanted those cabinets, but there was no way I was buying them from that jack-@ss. I don't know what to do now. We have no cabinets and no plan B. Anyway my review is this place appears to have great cabinets at a good price, but stay away from the salesman named Robert. read more
