I had a disappointing experience at this granite store. Online, they clearly listed a specific granite slab for $170, which is what caught my attention. But when I arrived in person--after taking time out of my day to drive there--they suddenly said it was $300. When chatting online it was $170. The salesperson I spoke to was friendly, which I appreciate, but ultimately it was a waste of my time. Accurate and honest pricing matters, especially when you're planning a home project. Shout out to Linda Salis for helping us find our Quartzsite countertops. She helped us so much when we could not decide what we were looking for and what we needed. She moved more options to see them in the light and explained the difference between quartz and man-made counters. Marmol was my first stop on Anaheim's 'tile alley' to familiarize myself with products for a major remodel. Nice selection, but it took 15 minutes for a sales person to show up to give me a slab price (I had to ask the loaders to page someone.) Then, Dan gave me the third degree before he'd provide a simple price for a slab. (Name of contractor, who contractor's rep was, the contractor's license, etc.) Really? Other retailers on the same street were much more customer-friendly and some even had pricing right on the slab. Dan made a big production of locating the slab price, like it's some big mystery, and implied that he was doing me a big favor since I couldn't provide tons of data on my contractor. Do yourself a favor - the slabs there are all over, and much cheaper. Plus, you deserve better customer service. Keep looking... read more

The 5 stars mainly goes to Lisa the sales rep for finding us the most beautiful slabs for our kitchen countertops and being so easy to work with. To anyone looking to put natural stone in their shower or bathroom floor: DON'T DO IT!! I purchased limestone from Marmol more than 5 years ago. Marmol had a nice variety of products and options. Their display was well organized and prices seemed reasonable. I had no problem with their customer service. I purchased limestone for my shower and bathroom floor. Big mistake. This 2 rating has to do with the material. Don't get me wrong...natural stone is beautiful! I didn't mind the extra maintenance in cleaning and sealing as I'm a worker bee. What I couldn't control is the damage the water caused to the material. After a couple of years, the limestone in the shower started to deteriorate. Yes, I sealed it and yes I used the high-end sealers and not the cheap stuff. Yes, I spot treated it with sealer when I first noticed the disintegration. When I lightly scrub the shower, using soft bristles, small chunks of limestone fall on the floor! Especially the dark stones ( I have a combo of light and dark). Are you kidding me?? I spent all this money on my bathroom and now I have to do it all over again? My fault. I knew going in, natural stone in the bathroom required a lot of maintenance (i.e. marble, travertine, limestone, etc). What I didn't expect was for the stone to crumble and wither away. The bathroom floor gets easily damaged with water spots or urine from the boys that miss the target. As I look to redo my shower, porcelain has come a LONG way. There are several varieties of porcelain that look just like natural stone. I did a rental house in porcelain about 5Y ago. NO ISSUES AT ALL!. No sealing, fading, disintegration, discoloration, etc. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE...DO...NOT...USE...NATURAL...STONE...IN...YOUR...BATHROOM! You'll thank me later! :) read more

When I first went to Marmol I was very impressed with the customer service from Lisa. She was very kind and helpful, BUT everything changed once my contractors arrived to install the material. They were given the wrong material by Marmol/Lisa. As soon as I noticed the material was wrong I called Lisa immediately and explained what had happened (keep in mind I have text messages going back and forth WITH PICTURES talking about the color/material I wanted). The material that was sent wasn't even remotely close to what I had ordered. After waiting for a whole day and having to call multiple times to figure out when I'd get my product I finally got an answer from her to arrange an exchange. Finally, the guy making the exchange showed up ill-prepared to do the job and proceeded to destroy my lawn completely. Now I have to pay someone to come and fix my newly sodded lawn. Lisa agreed to give us a refund and then went back on her word the following day. AFTER she admitted she sent the wrong material, her tune changed and she placed all the blame on us as the customers, and then when that didn't stick, she placed the blame on the contractor and anyone but herself. The moral of the story is don't shop here they just want your money and could care less if you're satisfied. Do yourself the favor and take your business to any of the businesses next door. read more

When my sister remodeled her bathrooms, she purchased her granite from Laura at Marmol, and insisted that I check them out when we decided to remodel our kitchen. All I can say is "Thanks, sis!" Their selection of slabs is amazing. The quality is high end, but their prices are reasonable. We purchased two full slabs of "Cosmic Black" granite that were back ordered and had to wait a few weeks. It worked out well with our schedule since our cabinets were still in manufacturing. I went to pick up flooring a customer got and it was a favor to drive the truck one of Marmol's loaders knew I went to pick up a pallet Jack, but he was dumb enough to stack the pallets sideways which apparently was only for a forklift. I had no idea and the customer blamed me for it which made me lose the 500 delivery cost l. I demanded to the owner to reimburse me for that but instead he just blocked me especially after my ex business partner tried to use my contractors license to get my discount. when I told the owner about that, the owner of Marmol refused to discuss it with me. The invoice had my company name on it. Not only that, the sales guy caused trouble for me by calling the so called designer Maribella and he threw me under the bus by telling her I wasn't strapping down the flooring, which would be dumb not to do. Marmol and the owner, along with his sales people are scandalous! They cost me not only a loss of money, but caused huge tension with the designer and my client! read more

We ordered our marble counter top from Marmol after being recommended from a neighbor. We are very happy with our purchase and the price! Originally the wrong countertop was given to our installers - so our process was a bit longer than planned, but we were thankful that Larry immediately acknowledged he had given the wrong marble and was able to correct things. I can't say enough about this place. Let me start by saying it is very overwhelming to look for materials for home renovation, you need a place that has great variety, exceptional products that you can't find anywhere else and most important is the right person who can make things not only clear but also have the patience to help you in every step of the way. I entered the place and was greeted by Jen, very sweet and welcoming, I explained what I need and she took me to the materials and showed me a lot of choices and took the time and effort to make it easy for me to feel comfortable in my choices. We are remodeling our master bath and our contractor recommended Marmol in Anaheim. It's right on slab row, with tons of other tile and stone places. It's a nice facility with a really good selection. We had Fernanda helping us who is very nice and extremely knowledgeable. The only downside with her is that she's in demand, so was pulled from helping us a number of times. We even had to go looking for her once, which wasn't the way I like to be helped, especially when we made an appointment. However, when she was with us, she was a huge help. They had no problem pulling multiple slabs so we could inspect them and choose the ones we like. We were very happy with our selection. read more

I was very disappointed in Marmol Exports, especially after reading such great reviews! We hoped we'd only have to visit Marmol for our granite and marble slabs. We worked with Larry, a salesman for Marmol who walked us thru our choices and we found two pieces of granite we loved. We were ready to pay for them at that time but Larry wouldn't sell the two pieces to us but told us he'd get in touch with our contractor and we could purchase the slabs thru him. Larry said he'd put a 7 day hold on the slabs right away. The next day our contractor informed us that Marmol sold the two pieces out from under us to a large client that uses their services all the time, along with every piece of that particular granite they had. So, if your an individual looking for a few pieces be aware if you don't purchase the slabs immediately and take them with you right then and there you might not get the slabs you want. Larry never called our contractor, our contractor had to make two calls to him before he found out the slabs were gone. We were told that a client was ahead of us and that by the time Larry got to place the "hold" tag all slabs were sold to a different client. I also placed a call to the store, asking to speak with the manager and/or owner. The receptionist would not give me the names of either but she promised I'd hear from the administrator within the hour, 36+ hours later and I'm still waiting. read more

Marmol export is a wonderful company to work with. But what sets them apart are their employees, especially Adolfo. He works within your budget and is a true professional. We've built a large custom home and could not have done it without the help of Adolfo. Even when we purchased tile or granite from other companies, he worked with us to help us install it correctly, ensure that the workmanship was done properly, and make sure he worked with that material in his design schemes. His taste is second to none and you would be doing yourself a disservice by working with anyone else. In the past year I've worked with dozens of people as an owner builder, and none have taken the time or effort to help ensure my project came out properly that Adolfo has. Even for non tile or granite advice he has been very accommodating. I wish I could give 6 stars! Also the owner is a nice guy, friendly, and will work to get you a fair deal. read more

We bought a lot of granite, quartzite and inadvertently some marble. All form Marmol. We looked at several place for stone but Marmol had the best price/selection. Good prices. Helpful staff The only complaint is the marble. We didn't want any in our house as it stains easily. We made that clear up front. We didn't realize they gave us two slabs of marble until after it was installed. They said they told us. Neither my wife or I or our designer heard that. It's not stated on the receipt. Don't get me wrong it's beautiful but we're worried about the staining. That aside the rest of their stuff is fantastic. We're very pleased over all. A word of caution to other buyers. For every $1 we spend of stone we spent $2 or more on fabrication and installation. Expensive as the stone is, its the installation that will eat your lunch. read more

Visited Marmol today after visiting approx 20 other granite yards from Sun Valley to Ontario to Anaheim. We are designing an entire home and are in need of granite and tile for 6 different rooms. Worked with Israel who is wonderful to work with. He spent as much time as we needed looking at slabs, having the staff pull out numerous slabs since we need 3 for the kitchen alone and helping coordinate a few of the rooms. Their pricing is excellent and best of all, they will store our slabs as long as needed. We will return once we figure out our needs for the other rooms! read more
