When I remodeled my kitchen and master bath, my contractor recommended Gramar for the countertops, kitchen backsplash, shower tiles, basin tiles, and floor tiles. They are located on State College, just South of Ball near Anaheim Stadium. The salesperson, Maria was super helpful and patient. I purchased quartz slabs from Gramar Stone to redo my kitchen and bathroom countertops. I chose them based on their product but most importantly their customer service. In the beginning, I worked with Blanca, who was easy to talk to and always made herself available. After purchasing, Kevin was who I primarily worked with. He was AMAZING! For the installation, he was always at my house overseeing his crew did everything correctly. What I appreciated most about him was that when there was a problem (which there will be with a remodel), he would apologize and go above and beyond to make it right. My only constructive feedback for them is that when they say they are going to provide you a quote by this day or schedule you for an appointment, please stick to it. Hello my fellow yelpers! I can't say enough GREAT things about Grammar Stone Center! After 4- months of Tile shopping in Anaheim, because I wanted to see every showroom- tile available at the tile district. When you spend $30k on a small kitchen you want to feel the WoW with the results. I was deathly afraid of making a mistake in my one attempt at remodeling my kitchen. Maria allowed me to take home a few samples from the showroom and I compared the tile in my light. This is a must helpers! The backsplash went in 1st and I LOVED it! I was so excited to finish the flooring when my tile guy notice a slight difference in the color of my flooring sample/ and the tile I received. You would hardly tell outside, but when in my kitchen look entirely different w/ a red tint. So off I went to return my flooring. I was advise there was a 25% restocking fee!! I was devastated because that was $200.00! I would have paid it because the color difference was enough huge enough for me. Maria called the manufacture to see if they could waive the fee and they said no. Maria spoke to the manager and they went ahead and paid the restocking fee for me! Saved me $200.00! Super grateful! I have received so many compliments on my kitchen! Note to kitchen remodels- please buy a sample, because there could be a slight color difference from the floor sample since they were made a different times. It was a BIG issue for me. Also, if you have LED lighting use the true color natural led light bulbs. If you use regular LED lights your tile has a red tint to it. Happy tile shopping! read more

If you want to do business with lying salesmen who give you contradicting information and the run-around, then by all means, give Gramar Stone your time and money. Time and money, two valuable elements of our home renovation process, have been marred by trying to work with this company. We initially wanted to purchase the Compac Unique Calacatta slab (which we absolutely loved) for our kitchen countertops. They had TWO slabs left they said. We were told that we can reserve it (initially they told us we can only reserve it for 24 hours, to later on saying only "3 days"). Long story short, due to miscommunication with our contractor, they ended up selling it to another buyer. Now we had no choice but to purchase an even MORE EXPENSIVE jumbo slab because they told us Compac does not make the smaller type slabs that we initially wanted. Ok, fine, we can settle on the jumbo slabs because it's still the style we want, although it was way more expensive and we'd have to wait another 2-3 weeks for delivery. So we wait those 2-3 weeks, and every time we called to check on the delivery date, no one gave us a clear answer. No one knew what the HECK was going on. Finally, we called on a Monday and they told us it would arrive on Wednesday. So then we called Wednesday, and then they say "Sorry, there was some sort of tracking error so the slabs will come next week." So I had my spouse call back the same day to clarify. Turns out, the jumbo slabs did already arrive. Bad news, they were cracked, so they'd have to "special order" another one and it'll arrive next week. So what's the real story? Why did you guys tell us one date and then another? Were the slabs cracked and that's why you guys told us it'll arrive next week, trying to cover up? What the heck is going on?!? Who knows. It's been an absolute disappointment working with these people. They are more concerned with sticking to their contradictory "policies" than showing true customer service. They will say that they tried to contact our contractor during the time, but ultimately, they had OUR phone number and never once gave US a call. We are not talking about chump change here people. This is about thousands of dollars. You would think that dealing with these pricey slabs would necessitate some accountability on their end. But they had no follow-through with anything. Therefore, we lost out on slabs that we really loved and a LOT of time. And time is more precious than money don't you think? And from what it looks like on previous reviews, they have also conducted similarly to others. So, BUYERS BEWARE! read more

She was able to find similar tiles much cheaper after I sent her pictures and email me back within a matter of a few hours . This was very helpful as it saved me a trip and lots of time . Searching for cabinets can be grueling. I went by several (too many to count) cabinet centers, big box stores, custom cabinet makers etc. and ending up going with Gramar for several reasons. First off we had gotten a price from Home Depot for the bare bones American Woodmark cabinetry. The original quote was over 10K for their lowest price point door style (which I didn't like with not even 1 upgrade) . At that point we thought we were going to have to cancel our project but then we found Waypoint cabinetry through Gramar and rcd. a quote with everything (slide out shelves, trash bin, etc) with the highest price point style for right about 8K. American Woodmark is the parent company of Waypoint so basically the same cabinets. Home depot has such high overhead. So we searched other companies prices for Waypoint and still found Gramar to be the best pricing. We loved working with Ben. He made everything very simple, no high pressure sales at all. It was refreshing to talk with someone so laid back (in a good way) and knowledgeable. We usually worked through e-mails and he always got the job done. The cabinets came in on time and they were all in good condition. Delivery guys were very professional. I am so glad we didn't have to compromise style because of the price. I did my homework and can say I would not hesitate to use this company again. I would recommend them to anyone looking for cabinets. We used our own installers so I can not comment on their installation team. read more

Very unethical. We purchased a granite slab for our bathroom spa and counter top. While we were waiting for the contractor to be ready to pick it up for fabrication, they sold our slab to someone else. They gave our contractor a slab they said was the same thing, but from a different lot. The slab we bought had no black in it, the slab they gave us had a significant amount of black in it. We've recently completed a major remodeling in Huntington Beach, and after a lot of shopping around, we ended up buying all stones/countertops (quartz and quartzite) and also a lot of tiles at Gramar. They are such a great team: Francesca and Maria and wonderful, patient and offer great suggestions; I found it very easy to communicate with them, either by phone or email, which was a huge plus, especially compared with some of their competitors on Tile Mile, where I felt service was much less personal. Kevin and Hugo, from the installing team, are amazing to work with and their crew does an outstanding job with installation. My general contractor was very complimentary of their work and he felt that their prices for stone fabrication were quite competitive. Wanted Vetrazzo recycled glass countertops for my custom bar, needed them in a hurry, shopped around several places, Gramar offered very reasonable price with the best experience with the product. From the order to fabrication to instillation, happened within 1-2 weeks which was an amazing turnaround. I was shopping for carpet at Sterlings and happen to walk over to Gramar Stone Center to just take a look. The customer service was so great that I ended up ordering my tile for two bathrooms. I really wanted to get a sample of the tile. It was late afternoon but the receptionist went the extra mile, got on the phone and had one there the very next morning at 9:30 sharp. UPDATE: Since my last review I've been contacted by this company and as you can read below their response. I STILL STAND BY MY STATEMENT!! Even more so now. I clearly specified in detail to the salesperson what I was looking for and after she confirmed that my 2nd choice would be the better fit l, I went ahead and ordered. I took her word at face value and did not look for myself in detail at the invoice. Needless to say it wasn't the size I needed. When I went in to correct the problem, she said I misunderstood what she had stated, which was a blatant lie. (Hence 1st 3 sentences of my last review) I couldn't return all the product unless I wanted to be charged 25%. Who wants to loose $$ getting a product the salesperson assured you would work and does not? So YES!! unless you like paying $$ for product that is incorrect, YOU ARE STUCK BUYING PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY. As for my last sentence of my previous review, it is exhausting dealing with this company when their salespeople lie, are condescending (treat you as if their doing you a favor), oh and let's not forget CHANGE THEIR INVOICES TO THEIR FAVOR. Furthermore, I don't think they would've given me a second thought if I hadn't posted this review. Buyer beware!! Salespeople WILL LIE to get a sale. It's up to you to look for every detail.
