When we went inside to wait for him to help us, the vendor had enough sense to end the conversation because there were customers waiting. But he told the vendor he would follow him out and left us standing there. No acknowledgment. Nothing. We waited and eventually left. When we had asked for advice earlier, he was dismissive and adamant about a recommendation that would not work for our project. Perhaps he was trying to sell and move specific products, but he was unwilling to recommend options. If you can't acknowledge paying customers or provide helpful information, you shouldn't be in business. Update: Response to vendor comment... We did not return or contact Cougar Stone after we left, so you have us confused with another customer.

DWD Anaheim were great on being on top of getting quotes and checking in with us as we worked with our GC. The sales person was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Unfortunately he departed and assured us we were in good hands during the transition. The logistics timeline got tricky and all the materials had some missing windows or broken glass during delivery. The communication was lacking and they improved when I met them in person to address the issues. The downfall of delay of ordering new pieces had a domino effect to other trades for our home renovation to two months :(. I took two stars off due to the domino effect of lack of communication about missing pieces or how long it will take in ordering new materials. But they did work magic behind the scenes but it would be nice if they were more transparent about it.

They have literally everything contractors could possibly need from sand, P gravel, stone, rocks, brick, decorative concrete pavers, large landscape boulders, mortar, everything. I didn't need much, as my planter is only about 7' by 2' max, and I was afraid that maybe they didn't do small sales - but they did and I was able to fill 2 5 gal buckets when what I needed :) I was able to find small/ medium white rocks and also brown lava rocks. The Only thing they don't have is small black lava rock but they do have that in a medium size :) The younger guy that works there also offered to help me get my stone together. Chivalry is not dead folks LOL! So that was appreciated. I don't know what I was thinking, by showing up without a shovel, but they let me use one of theirs.
