We are just starting to explore renovating our kitchen and came here to check out some range ovens and refrigerators. We researched and they have one of the largest selections for you to see in person in the area. We were greeted right away as we came in and when we said what we were looking for they walked us to where we should look and said they would have one of the specialists for that come meet us.... And drumroll... they actually did. The gentlemen was a really nice guy and took time to answer all our questions and walk us through a lot of what we were looking at. Bought a new Samsung refrigerator. It was open box and I didn't see any damage or majors signs when purchasing. I got it home and it doesn't work properly at all. The freezer does not get cold at all and the refrigerator portion doesn't get cold enough. I paid for the warranty, so we will see how that goes. read more

Absolutely the worst experience in attempting to purchase a refrigerator. I say "attempt" because in 2 tries over 12 days they couldn't get it delivered without major damage, that's arranging to be home twice, unloading our current refrigerator and freezer twice into ice chests and being disappointed twice. Now you would think that they would be bending over backwards to make it right at this point but no chance. I was told IF I purchased yet another unit they "might" be able to "work something out" they had no interest in either arranging an expedited delivery or any kind of discount on a replacement unit. Today was delivery day for the new Bosch refrigerator. This purchase was a simple one, replace one old refrigerator with a new refrigerator in an existing kitchen with the water line and shut off already in place. The Bosch was delivered this morning into the garage, still in the box. The delivery men said they did not have an install order, whatever that means. They only had a haul away order. Funny, we thought delivery included installation?? So they go into the kitchen to see about hauling away the old refrigerator. They said they couldn't haul away the old refrig because the freezer was frozen closed. We knew this. We had unplugged the old refrig 24 hours ago. We thought, if nothing else, move the old refrigerator out of its spot and just move it to the other corner of the room and then install the new one..... but no. They said there was nothing else they could do as they only had 15 mins before they had to leave!! The man even showed my husband his phone....saying, look, I only have 15 more mins I can spend here. He said he didn't even have the time to take the box off the new Bosch. They seemed to be in quite the hurry (it being Memorial Day weekend) and didn't seem at all concerned that we would not have a working refrigerator. So away they went. As soon as they left, I called Best Buy and explained the problem. They attempted to call the delivery guys back....but supposedly they were too far away. The best installation date I could get was June 1.....5 days from now.....5 days with no refrigerator! I then called Pacific Sales where I made my purchase hoping they could help. I spoke to customer service, but they too could do nothing to help. Nice. So, now we had to spend another $160 on a mini refrig so we have somewhere to store cold food for the next 5 days!! To be continued....... THE FINISH.....6-1-2023......Huge thank you to Juan and Gilbert, the delivery guys! These two men were prompt, professional and completely perplexed as to why our new refrigerator was still standing in the garage and the previous delivery men left us with no working refrigerator for 5 days!!! The new Bosch was installed and we are very happy with it. Note to Pacific Sales, originally we were planning to purchase a new Speed Queen washer and dryer set from you after the refrigerator purchase.....not anymore! PACIFIC SALES CARLSBAD Bought a out of box panel ready Bosch dishwasher from PS Carlsbad for a complete remodel. Was told it was out of box not a return. When time to install it did not work gad 2 error message one being a leak. Best buy came out there was soap in the line indicating it had been a return. Finally got it repaired he asked where the kick plate was. Had not noticed it was not with the unit as it was all wrapped In plastic when we got it. They said no missing parts when purchases. I spent several thousands of dollars with PS this past year. New bathroom & kitchen fixtures & appliances. I reached out to get the kick plate replaced I hit a brick wall. Spoke with a sales associate named Ryan. He promised either he or manager Sergio would get back to me same day. 3 days later no response. I call again get Ryan again said he passed the message on. No follow through. Sergio is conveniently always busy. Ryan went on to say they could do nothing about my missing part. This is the service they offer at this location 0. I will give them 0 stars for delivery and installation, they don't send trained people with the drivers, they make silly mistakes and come back over and over and you are at their mercy as to when they can come. We purchased high end appliances and nothing is working. The delivery time was totally messed up and we had 3 trucks at a time. The nightmare continued for days and days and we still don't have it resolved. This company has serious problems and we should have had our own delivery and installation! Buyers beware! read more

It was time to replace old washer and dryer. Daniel from the Pacific Sales was a knowledgeable salesman and he helped us in the selection of the next generation of the washers - low-water, no agitator style. Delivery was as promised day and time - the old washer - dryer were taken away, new one installed, but the guys were kind of in a rush and the result was that the hot and cold water hoses were switched. I discovered it only after my second wash, so after calling for 2 days to a customer support another crew came in, confirmed the screw up and fixed it. It's a new washer to me, with all the strange noises and it's definitely almost twice as long for the washing cycle to finish as to prior one. Also, the low water wash saves on water, but I have to see the improved cleaning. One more thing - you have to use a right detergent - only High Efficiency - the package marked with "HE". read more

On March 3, 2012, we went to the one inside of Best Buy in Oceanside. We referred to Pacific Sales, in general, by friends and family members. At first, we were very happy with the sales person's (Junior) knowledge and politeness. We decided to purchase our washer and dryer set from them based on that...and they had a great price! We scheduled the delivery for the following Saturday. We received a call on Friday afternoon saying that we wouldn't be getting our w/d and that someone would call us that night to let us know what was going on. Nobody called. We waited until noon the following day. Still. Nobody called. We finally went into the store to figure out what was going on. Turns out, they oversold the set AFTER we placed our order and by the time they got to our delivery date, they were out of stock. After days of arguing with the delivery department about delivery times, we finally received the washer and dryer on Thursday, March 15. HOWEVER, they delivered a DOWNGRADED dryer. We headed back out to the store the following Saturday. We spoke to Junior who told us to continue using the downgraded dryer and that the proper dryer will be delivered on Saturday, April 14. Today is Friday, April 13. We just received a call that we will NOT be receiving our proper dryer due to issues with the manufacturer. We only got this answer after being on hold for 30 minutes. Now, Pacific Sales is blaming Frigidaire (the manufacturer) for having back order issues. We are supposed to drive back to Oceanside tomorrow morning to deal with this. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!! The price is NOT worth the hassle. It has been over a MONTH and we have still not been able to get a washer and dryer that we ordered on MARCH 3. Somehow, a $75 credit was supposed to make this ordeal totally worth it. read more

My experience with Pacific Sales Kitchen & Home Delivery has been a disaster. I purchased a Kitchen Aid product in September that was on backorder until the 5th of October. I received a called on the 15th that I could have it delivered the next day between 1-5pm and I would receive a call an hour before the delivery. Well after waiting until 5:30pm for a phone call they never placed I call the 800 number and the girl checked with the driver only to come back and tell me they were running behind and she didn't have an ETA, but I would still get a call. Well the call came after 6pm from the delivery company, telling me the truck had broke down and I would not receive my product until Tuesday. Me being upset ask for a supervisor. The supervisor LeAnn tells me the driver had problems all day. (But not had the sense to call clients and let them know) LeAnn the supervisor apologized and told me I would have the first delivery on Tuesday. Much to my surprise I get a call telling me my delivery is between 2-6pm and LeAnn is no where to be found. Here I sit today and I just received a call saying the same thing "The truck is running behind and they will call an hour before they arrive. LeAnn the supervisor made no notes about my product being delivery being first. I've spoken to Alex who is just a yes man and doesn't care to Mercedes who transfers you to anyone because she doesn't want to deal with me. BTW this is the second time in 2 months this 3rd party delivery has not delivery my products on time. I have never had this issue with Home Depot. I won't be purchasing anything else from Pacific Sales Kitchen & Home until they have WHITE GLOVE/RED CARPET SERVICE. read more

I visited Pacific Sales in Carlsbad yesterday seeking answers to some questions about replacing a microwave that had been built in top the convection oven in the kitchen of a rental house just purchased. The microwave was removed by the previous owner, leaving a gaping hole in the cabinetry. I am also considering a dual conventional built-in oven as an alternative. Well, the salesman was very abrupt, and didn't want to spend much time in terms of educating me about the various options I might pursue. I went there last weekend to look at washing machines. Since my washer will have to fit into a laundry closet, I have a limited amount of space to work with and need one that is 30" in depth or less. Well, they don't list dimensions of the machines, and it's hard to measure yourself since you can't see what's on the back. I asked a salesperson to find dimensions for me, which she appeared to have searched for for about 15 minutes. Finally when I said I was just going to go, another salesperson said "well, they're all the same - about 27.5". Well, I've looked at numerous stores and the smallest I've seen for a regular-sized front-loader was 29.75. So had I listened to him, I would have likely purchased a washer that wouldn't even fit into the space I have. I told him this, and he didn't appear to care at all. I did go to the other Pacific Sales in Carlsbad and they did seen better. I was told that the one inside Best Buy are Best Buy employees. In any case, I will never purchase anything from either store. As a contrast, I also went to Sears and received excellent customer service. The employees there actually know all about the products and are interested in helping you. read more

After all the paperwork was done at the store and the appliances were ready to be delivered this hustler named Jr called and said that he needs an additional $850 before anything can be delivered. I purchased a a 7.5 cu/in freezer from them. The sales associate John helped me and recommended a frigidaire over an igloo brand which was consistent with reviews I had read earlier. I also purchased the 5 year warranty. I was told to wait 10 days for delivery upon which he would call and have it delivered. He was specific that it had to go to them before it could be sent to me. Whatever, no problem. When the freezer got into Pac sales 10 days or so later we received a call from Olivia telling us that it was ready for pickup. When we asked about delivery she quoted us at $70. The Assistant Mgr. Junior said that he would speak with John, but not to worry as the customer I am a priority. I called and left a message again I received a call from Olivia (4 days later) and once again was quoted $70 for delivery. This wouldn't have been a big deal if I hadn't been blatantly lied to. John is'nt a newbie of any sort (the free delivery occurs when the price tag is above $400), I'm sure he knew this. Finally, Olivia and Tim did a good thing when I did show up on a weekday evening and helped me to hoist the freezer into my SUV. I lucked out and it fit after moving some items around. All this company has to do is provide service, good service. Call customers back in a timely manner and be up front and honest. The overall experience was upsetting, but I did get my freezer. My worry is what will happen when something breaks and the warranty I purchased has some loop hole they don't want to cover. read more

On May 18, 2013 I purchased a Bosch built-in dishwasher Model SHX7ER55UC (Dishwasher A) from Pacific Sales within the Best Buy Store in Oceanside, CA. Three weeks later - I finally had a lesser Bosch Model SGE63E15UC (Dishwasher B) installed. When I arrived at the store on May 18, I had the measurements for the dishwasher opening and I shared them with the salesperson. I was pleased to find Dishwasher A on sale. There were many features about the dishwasher that I really liked. I was impressed by the quietness (42db), the variety of washing functions, the adjustable shelf and the third shelf. The salesman told me that the dishwasher was of standard size and should fit the opening easily. I purchased Dishwasher A and requested delivery/installation on Saturday, May 25 . I was informed that the installer (Installer 1) would contact me. I was not contacted all week. So I called the store on Friday to inquire as to the installation date. I was told that the installation had been outsourced and the installer would call me in with a time for the installation. Since I had not received a call from the installer. I called the store again. They could not provide me with any information. I had no idea if there would be an installation on that date. Installer 1 called around noon and said he would be there between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. When Installer 1 arrived he measured the opening and informed me that the dishwasher would not fit - it was 1/8" too high. He told me that he could try to squeeze it in, but was afraid that he would scratch the wood floors. He also said that he could remove a piece of trim above the opening, but he had no idea if it was supporting the granite counters. It was with disappointment that, based on what the installer told me, I cancelled the installation. I went back to Pacific Sales the next day to inform them of what had happened and find a dishwasher that would fit . Although it did not have the features I appreciated in Dishwasher A and was rated at a much higher (49db) I I was left with no choice and selected Dishwasher B, purchased it and requested delivery/ installation on June 1, 2013. The store informed me that they would call me to reverse my original purchase off my credit card once Dishwasher A was returned to their warehouse. Four days later I called to see if this had been completed. It had not. Once again, I did not receive any calls from the installer (Installer 2). I called the store twice on Saturday, but they could not assist me other than to say that they would email Installer 2 and call me back when they had been in touch with them. They did not call back. After waiting all day, I finally conceded that there would be no installation that day. I received a voicemail from Installer 2 on June 4th (10 days had passed since I purchased this second dishwasher) asking me to call to arrange the installation. I called back on June 5th and was informed that the store had pulled the order from Installer 2. He suggested I call the store. I did. They told me that, no, they did not cancel the order with Installer 2 and suggested that I call him back. So I did. But he insisted that he did not have an order for my installation. I called the store again and informed them of the situation. Frankly, I was very frustrated and I told them that if they could not get me an installation on June 8th I was going to cancel my order. They said they would work on it and call me back. I never received a call. So that night I went to the store around 8:30pm with the intent to cancel my purchase. The salesperson told me that they had just found an installer that would perform the installation between 2:00pm and 4:00pm on Saturday. Thursday morning I received a call from an installer (Installer 3) informing me that I was scheduled for the installation of a dishwasher on Monday afternoon. Apparently, this was not the installer that the store had arranged the previous evening. He called the store and called me back to tell me that the store had made arrangements with another installer and that I was scheduled for a Saturday installation between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. It appears that, contrary to their protestations, the store did pull the installation order from Installer 2 and gave it to Installer 3 earlier that week. Then pulled the order from Installer 3 and gave it back to Installer 2 the previous evening - although Installer 3 had not been informed of it. Friday I receive a call from Installer 2 informing me that my installation time for Saturday would be between 3:00pm and 7:00pm. Installer 2 called Saturday and indicated that he could come early if was home. I was and he drove over. Dishwasher B was shorter than the opening and the installer had to place pieces of wood under the dishwasher so that it would fit properly. So one is too high and the other too short? I will never buy from this store again- read more

My experience with Pacific Sales has been quite positive. Over the past year I have purchased a dishwasher, microwave, stove, washer, and dryer. The prices were better than the competition (although all are pretty close in price). The free installations and free removals of the old appliances also tipped the balance in favor of Pacific Sales. We are not sure on why so many negative reviews, because our experience was wonderful. We purchased a full kitchen of appliances and Max gave us great customer service. They did seem to be a bit short handed, but the staff worked as a team so all of the customers were taken care of properly. They matched all sale prices from other businesses plus gave an added discount, so the price was lower. Everything was delivered as promised and the one item we did have to return due to my error was quick and easy. We recommend Pacific Sales in the Best Buy and we would use them again. read more

We experienced great customer service when we were in and were able to find a great refrigerator and dishwasher that we were able to price match as well as put on Best Buy credit at this location. This 5 star yelp review is for Matt the manager of the Pacific Sales store. He actually contacted us while we were on our way out of Best Buy after being disappointed that the camera we wanted was not in stock. Normally we go to our Best Buy but we were on vacation when our camera broke so we went in with intentions to buy a new one. The sales person we got did a pretty good job, but we were frustrated with our bad luck. Matt was coming in the door as we were walking out and we asked us if we had found everything ok? We explained to him the issue and he asked us to come back in for a minute while he did a second stock check in the back, so we agreed to give it a shot. Unfortunately they did not have the camera we wanted but he showed us another one which we are more then satisfied with and he took us up to the front and rang us up so we didn't need to wait in line. This experience was so amazing to us as he did not even work for Best Buy but for Pacific Sales, and brought us back in the door. I hope Matt's manager recognizes him for the value he is as we certainly do and we make sure to call him first if we have any appliance needs in the future. read more

I will NEVER shop here again!!! I had a refridgerator delivered on Dec 7, 2012 and when they tried to attach the handles they were stripped. Yesterday, Jan 31 is the day they finally arrived! The run around I have endured is far to long to describe here. The icing on the cake was they told me they would be here after 2:00 pm to install them, at 4:00 I called to see when they would be here. I was told Jr. was at lunch and would be leaving to come to my house in 45 minutes. A little later Jr called and said could he please come over at 6:00 on his way home from work, and did we have tools "just in case" . My horrifying ordeal is purchasing a LG refridgerator only to have it break down twice in only 15 months and the waranty that I purchased is horrible . The second appliance company was 2 hours late supposed to be 8-12 came at 2 , then left me a mess of wet towels inside fridge ,deli drawer on my counter not put back pushes back fridge not even plugged in he tells me I only fix part , I replied aren't you going to clean up your mess and make sure it works , no I only fix part , not sure if he understood English well , seems like there was a language barrier. So he says make sure you dry out inside good or it will short out your fridge , I dry it out plug in and 3 hours later showing error on door and not cooling . I think the guy had no idea what he was doing . Horrible experience ,don't ever purchase the warranty from pacific sales , only buy from manufacturers waranty . First time buying appliances EVER and we were very disappointed. First of all the fact that they don't deliver on Sun or Monday is an inconvenience. We were told we would get a call a day before the delivery and again an hour before the day of. Waited for the call all day the day before...around 8pm a machine call so obviously we had no say in the times we preferred morning afternoon etc. The day of the guys called once they were already there....not an hour before. We paid to have the fridge installed and were told the water line can't be hooked up because the floor looked like there might have been a leak in the past (so do we get our installation money back?). The fridge made an extremely loud noise that woke us up at night. Also got our washer and dryer delivered that time and only paid for washer installation so the guy left the dryer as far as possible from the hook up even though he had a dolly (seriously?). Learned a few days later that the washer wasn't filling up properly and the clothes still smelled. Try returning the fridge and the washer since after spending $4k I didn't want to deal with defective appliances. I called and asked what the process was and I was told because it was less than 15 days no fee would apply but the girl wasn't there to schedule pick ups. Went in to schedule a pick up and the girl wouldn't do it without a manager there. Called the mgr the next day she says $75 fee would apply if I want to return anything unless I get it serviced or exchange it but nothing else fit the style and price range. After calling 2 third party service places because they are currently backed up I was able to schedule an appointment for a week out. Now they called to cancel a day before because they don't have the part yet they haven't even looked at it. 3 weeks and counting and I still don't have a functional washer. And the fridge....it was something simple that I learned from the sears guy because he actually listened. It was the ice maker because it wasn't plugged in. read more

We purchased a washer and dryer on March 1, 2016 that was delivered on March 2. The delivery team forgot to insert the washer's drainage tube into the drainage pipe. When I washed a load of clothes on March 3, water flooded our laundry room and into our kitchen where we have hardwood floors. We have pictures. Penn Ridge came back on March 4 and acknowledged their responsibility. However, it is now April 18 and we have yet to receive the location to send a bill. We have called many times and sent emails with the estimate. Pacific Sales, Penn Ridge and the actual delivery team are tossing responsibility back and forth. Our phone calls and emails are not returned. I am beyond frustrated. 5 seconds of inattention on the installer's part is costing us months of hassle. Everyone I finally talk to is very friendly and apologetic but NOTHING is getting done. I have purchased many major appliances from Pacific Sales but I won't again. I hope Pacific Sales will see this post and take action AND choose a better delivery service. read more
