We're new to Ferguson. What a beautiful showroom! The people at the front desk have been so very accommodating and helpful as well. This place gives you so much inspiration, and you can even slip into a full bathtub to try it 'on'. Haha I've been there twice now and worked with Tara both times on selecting bathroom fixtures/colors/textures etc. She is so knowledgeable and has saved us so much time trying to figure out the website and how to build our project as well as how to order everything. She's super honest as well and doesn't try to upsell. She also has great suggestions and has made our lives dramatically easier. Ferguson has so much to choose from, including hundreds, maybe thousands of items not on the floor, but in different colors, sizes and formats. Even their signature line is amazing - and so well priced. Plus most everything is under warranty and if an item gets damaged upon receipt or in transit, they'll stand behind it. I love that. We're still in the process of choosing everything, but I wanted to write this review now since we're heavily working with Tara and appreciate her input so much. Like in Pretty Woman - BIG mistake!!!! I went into store last week and was looking at ovens in the back when man came up behind me and turned out the lights. No warning no we're closing. Looking in oven - lights out! Then he said you can come back tomorrow. Upon walking to front receptionist said "can I help you" and I stated that I couldn't see. Went to Pacific sales (best buy) in Carlsbad and spent my hard earned money there and they stayed open for me! Big mistake! read more

I went to Ferguson because I was told - by another sink/faucet showroom in town that only had color chips for Kohler sinks but none of the actual sinks - that Ferguson carried Kohler sinks, had the best selections on display, and was Kohler's primary dealer in San Diego county. I arrived at Ferguson, credit card in hand, ready to buy both the sink and faucet. I had already taken a look at Kohler's website and selected the models I wanted. I just hoped to see the color in person if I could, and be able to see it next to the faucet's finish, and my samples of cabinets, paint, fabrics and countertop. I met with a Ferguson showroom salesperson, Justin S., who told me the sink was a special order in the Dune color and Kohler was quoting 8-10 weeks to delivery, but I should not be surprised if it took 20 weeks. He then went on Amazon on his Ferguson computer to see if it was available there faster but said it was only available there in white. I had also wanted to find out about getting a paper template of the sink that my stone contractor requested to do the cutout in the countertop. He told me the paper template customarily comes in the box with the sink but that if I could get a template ahead of time, that would keep the project from delays. Justin told me Kohler no longer provides paper templates at all. I didn't want to wait 20 weeks so I left without placing an order, feeling very disappointed. At home, I decided to search the internet just to see if I could get lucky and find the sink for sale somewhere with a shorter lead time than 8-20 weeks. To my great surprise the Kohler website itself had the sink available right there to order - with a 7-10 day delivery time! I ordered it immediately and I already have a tracking number for its delivery by fedex 2 days from now. I then called Kohler, told them I had ordered the sink, and asked about getting the paper template ahead of time for my stone contractor to use. The nice lady I spoke with said she would be happy to send me the template as well as a sample of the Dune for me to have while I waited for delivery of the sink. I told her a salesperson had told me Kohler no longer supplied paper templates and she said that was absolutely not correct. So, 5 stars to Kohler. 1 star to Ferguson. Clearly the sales person at Ferguson has not been well trained or something else has gone very wrong for him to have given me such misinformation. And he lost a nice sale for himself and the company. read more

Dealing with this organization has been one of pure incompetence and frustration. The first issue was no one would take our order for a new freezer. After many phone calls, we placed the order; the freezer arrived with a very damaged front door. Ferguson would not allow us to start the return process, until a contractor of theirs would look at the freezer to confirm the damage, even though we sent them a picture. The lack of communication between Ferguson and their contractor was incredibly poor. The contractor would not show up when Ferguson scheduled and many hours were wasted. We finally canceled the order with no faith in this organizaiton to get a new frezzed delivered. After we canceled the order, they delivered a new freezer door anyway due to their incompetence. We did not accept the freezer door. In the past, this organization was fine. I don't know what happened but we will never deal with Ferguson again. read more

At this point I'm disappointed in customer service. I have been trying to get receipts for apx $5,000 in purchases for over a month. I need purchase date, model numbers, amount paid etc. To date no response other than "just go to build.com where I placed the order" which I did not. All products were placed from the store by gary. We were in need of replacement rain-shower heads and wands for a plumbing project in an older home. We didn't need the "full kit" of showers systems or faucets. Stephanie was very helpful in directing us on how to determine what would fit our needs and ultimately we were able to order through Ferguson online. Walked into Ferguson's Monday. Immediately greeted and shown where to start looking. Salesperson assigned to help us. We were in and out of there within 45 minutes. Even better--we received all purchases delivered to our house less than 24 hours later. Let's see--immediately assisted, huge amount of product to look at, effective sales person, in and out, no "supply chain issues", almost immediate delivery. This is why I ALWAYS go to Ferguson's. I was able to work with Ferguson's to pick out everything needed for a new build: faucets, toilets, sinks, shower doors, everything down to the door knobs. This potentially could have been a very overwhelming experience; however, Maria Powers, was SO HELPFUL! We were able to pick everything out in two visits and a couple of emails back and forth. I love how easy they worked with me and my contractor. Ferguson's has a great showroom where you can move faucets over the sinks, mismatch metals, etc to see how everything looks before you buy. They also have a wall full of pulls, so you can test out which feel the best. They literally have everything you need under one roof. If you are remodeling or building something new and want quality products and services, please check them out. I did go out of my way and drive up to Vista because their showroom is fabulous. Several years ago, I had a good experience with Fergusons' buying multiple applicances for our newly remodelled kitchen. The icemaker recently died, so I ordered another one from Fergusons. After they installed it and it did not work, I repeatedly called them to replace the unit, spoke to the manufacturer as well, but ZERO response from Fergusons. Horrible follow up, so I had a house full of Christmas guests and no icemaker. Install a damaged faulty unit and can't even get a replacement unit re-installed. we purchased a Grohe kitchen faucet (among many other items) We have had nothing but problems with the faucet and the Furguson Customer Serbice is the WORST we have ever encountered. each time we call (guessing 7 times) they cannot locate our records. Once they pull it up they confirm the lifetime guarantee but then each time drop the ball. We have been told that they have escalated our account yet with NO RESULTS. We are without water in our kitchen, we have paid a plumber who can't fix the faucet until it is replaced. BEWARE - Go elsewhere - The service is HORRIBLE read more

Callie saved the day again! While roasting in my car waiting for return pick up, I called Callie. She made calls to the trucking company and within 5 minutes sent me an email with a resolution. But she didn't stop there she also called to let me know I could get out of my oven car, go on with my day as she made arrangements for the items to be picked up without me present. I wanted a special hinge system from Blum. It is an Aventos HL. I researched myself, and worked with a build.com employee to attempt to order the VERY confusing system. (Probably a Blum problem) It arrived with 1 necessary missing part. I called and emailed build.com. Finally, after getting ahold of a second employee- build.com spoke with Blum....AND TOGETHER THEY GOT NOWHERE! Finally, I just ordered more possible solutions, hoping one would work. I got lucky! (for the most part) I guess I ordered the incorrect covers (an inexpensive part...about $12 or $13 ...) Now, to return it...they charge almost $7!!! Thank God most of the stuff is also available on Amazon for the same price (or less) with free and easy returns! Sadly, I highly recommend sticking with Amazon! read more

I bought a refrigerator from Ferguson 3 months ago and still has not been delivered. Ferguson rep. indicated to me that it might be a month delay due to the manufacture. Due to it being later then what the rep told me, I would of expected a call from someone. The only true communication I get is when I initiate the call. Absolutely terrible experience. Ordered a vanity, counter and mirror at the end of November and it finally came in today. I can understand a back order but what really makes me angry is their customer service. Be prepared to be put on hold indefinitely. When someone does finally get back on the line they put you on hold again. They did this to me a few times when checking on the status of my order. My items finally came in today so they called and asked me to call client services to schedule delivery. Guess what? I'm on hold again and I've talked to three different people. This review is long overdue. Justin is the man. Not only was he incredibly helpful picking our appliances and getting us the best deals and rebates, he listened to what we wanted. Ended up with a bitchen sub zero/wolf package with a couple other off brands to save some money. During covid, everything is behind. Not only did Justin get is our appliances early, when one appliance was delayed but everything else came in, he worked his ass off to allocate another model. Really disappointed I'm the customer service we received. We are getting ready to do a complete kitchen remodel. Our contractor recommended Ferguson. We went there and wanted to get an estimate on a complete Thermadore Kitchen package, which comes at a premium prices. We met with one of their sales reps that seemed very knowledgeable. He showed us around for about an hour. We requested an estimate on a Fridge, oven, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, wine fridge, exhaust hood. We never heard back from him, we sent several emails with absolutely no response. VERY disappointed. We will be going elsewhere. There are two many other options in San Diego. read more

I chose a light fixture in the store and we did an order on Build.com. I received it and it did not work. I returned it to the store over a month ago. I bought about $18,000 worth of appliances from Ferguson and the customer service was among the worst I ever experienced. The wrong model of refrigerator was delivered and installed; this required uninstalling and getting the right model delivered and re-installed. I had to be very assertive to get the right model without additional cost. (Except I did have to pay my contractor twice for installing and un-installing.) Also my new micro/speed oven broke after about 5 days of use. The technical repairs saga was too long and painful to describe here. Even elevating my problem to the manager did little to help the situation. I finally bought a new oven from another vendor after over 2 months of trying to work with Ferguson to make it right. I discourage anyone who needs professional customer service and a responsive repair team from buying from Ferguson. read more

Do not even think of buying from Ferguson!! We purchased four (4) different KitchenAide products from the Vista, California store plus extended warrantees and some plumbing items. We were replacing an existing KitchenAide cooktop among other things. The salesman told us technicians would need to come to our home to verify that the products ordered would fit properly into the designated places and they would call the day before coming with the time of their arrival. The technicians came to our house in the start of June to verify the necessary dimensions without verifying their arrival time. At that time, we were told that a portion of the granite counter top would have to be cut out to accommodate the new cooktop. We scheduled a granite cutter to come to our home the next week. The granite cutter wanted to verify the necessary dimensions on that day before starting to cut the granite. That was when we started having problems. 1. The technicians never followed-up with the dimensions for the cooktop opening as they said they would. Strike one. 2. We contacted the scheduler for the technicians asking for the follow-up information. The scheduler contacted the technicians and received back some information which the scheduler forwarded to us. The information sent to us was not our home and was for a gas cooktop. Our cooktop is electric. We never did get the dimensions but we did get pictures of the right house, our house. Strike two. 3. A man at customer service said another technician would be out to measure again to make sure the cutout was correct. We were never told that before hearing it that day. Strike three. 4. No one ever came out to verify the cutout was correct. Strike four. Toward the end of June, we were contacted saying three of the four products ordered were ready to be installed the first week of July. Again, we were never told the day before installation what time to expect them. They never introduced themselves upon arriving at our home. When they attempted to install the cooktop, they discovered that it did not fit. The technicians that were previously out said only a portion of the granite had to be removed and nothing about the plywood beneath the granite. They said the granite must be removed to accommodate the lip of the cooktop. I had to borrow a Sawzall from a neighbor and learn how to use it on the fly, no practice. You cannot imagine how nerve racking that was. It should be noted that I am 79 years old and somewhat handy, but the weight and control of the Sawzall was unexpected. So, they get the cooktop installed and they attempt to put the drawer back in that is directly below the cooktop. It no longer fits. The back of the drawer is to high to allow it to pass under the cooktop. Another screwup by the technicians that were supposed to verify the dimensions. When all three products were installed, the installers did not verify that all the components were there. The installers unpacked the drawers and shelves of the refrigerator and placed into the refrigerator very sloppily leaving greasy finger prints everywhere. They did not wipe out the refrigerator or clean up the dust. It was extremely difficult to remove these prints. All the installers had to do was wear gloves, that's all, so simple. It was not a pretty sight. Also, they did not walk us through the operations of the individual products. We were left to our own resources to discover the operations of the appliances. We then discovered some parts were missing and some parts were scratched. We called immediately to voice our concern and were told they would get right on that and get back to us the next day. To date they have never got back to us concerning the missing and scratched parts. We have paid $440 so far for an installation that is so subpar. I can not say it was incompetent because the products do function but the manner of installation and customer instruction was definitely lacking. As you may be aware, these were not cheap products and we should not have to accept poor service from Ferguson. My wife's mother bought a refrigerator from one of their competitors two years ago. The people that brought it out to her, completely set it up wearing gloves and walked her through all the various operations. They were personable and courteous. Since our concern about the missing items and scratches, there has been no follow-up from Ferguson. NOTHING!! Not how do you like your products, do you have any questions about them, is everything alright, etc. NOTHING!! This is some egregious public relations! If we had it to do over knowing what we know today, we would not have bought from Ferguson. We cannot even begin to relate how dissatisfied we are with Ferguson. read more

Their prices are not the great, make sure you price match before you buy from them. I went on a weekday about 1/2 hour before they closed. . .yes my bad, probably not the best thing when people want to go home. However, still it's your job to stay there until closing so you shouldn't begrudge the customer for walking in during store hours. Anyway, the sales person was semi-nice but she recommended a shower/bath assembly that was like $600. . .that's like top of the line. She didn't come up with other cheaper options. I think she was just inexperienced. I went somewhere else and talked to someone else who has been in the biz much longer and she was able to get me almost exactly the same thing (same manufacturer) with some minor tweaks (like using a different tub spout) and my cost were 1/2 the price. read more

Good place to visit if you need to see products, not so much if you need help. They have a pretty good selection of products on display, but good luck getting anyone to help you with a purchase. The staff kept taking phone calls while my wife and I waited for help. It was obvious that they were more interested in the people that called than the people IN THE SHOW ROOM. The woman who was helping us took three calls after we explained what we needed and the model we wanted a price on. She eventually said the she needed to do some research for the last caller and asked us to wait, we left. My suggestion is to call them as they obviously care more about people on the phone than those in the show room. read more

Callie Sims is amazing. Reason for 4 stars vs 5 is due solely to pricing policy but if review based solely on customer service Callie Sims is 5 stars. Our house flooded and we needed to redo master bath and all flooring in house. Which then lead into kitchen remodel because our island was worse designed half octagon thing you can imagine and no point doing floors if we were changing island in a year or two. Anyway, Callie helped find everything we needed and i could save tons of time by corresponding via emails or phone calls. She actually gets back to you unlike PS and pirch. I would realize i needed new medicine cabinet , scounces, towel holders etc and i would email her and she find me 4 and i pick one from the comfort of my home. Pay for it on the phone and it shows up in two days. Or kitchen lights etc. we selected a faucets in beautiful soft gold but trying to find matching shower was difficult. She would send me pictures to look at . If your trying to do this in the store i get tired and grumpy and need a break but her ability to understand what im looking for and send it to me saves me multiple trips back and forth and headaches.
