I was moving from Orange County, CA to Issaquah, WA due to Job Transfer. As excited as I was regarding the new job, I was terrified of this long distance move. My wife and I both have heard numerous horrifying stories about the long distance moves such as bait (quoted price) and switch (actual price). Movers taking their time packing and unpacking and thus charging more. Movers taking 7-10 days to move you as they wait to combine other customers with you. Movers using outsourced companies to move you etc... I found Pacific Moving Company and two other moving companies at Yelp. They all had great reviews, but the other two fit into the above mentioned categories, one was moving three families and the other seemed to have outsourced their moving. Pacific Moving Company was not the cheapest but gave me a flat rate. They also ensured me that there will not be any hidden cost that will appear on the move date. They also provided us with the packing materials of boxes and tapes. Day of the move, packing up: Our driver, Russell came in with 5 helpers. He was very professional and explained all the packing, pickup and drop off in details. They packed our kitchen, pantry area and disassembled and packed our bedroom furniture. All in all, they were done in 6 hours, but I didn't have to worry about it, since I had a flat rate. Russell also told us that he will drive the truck with our stuff to Issaquah, WA and will be there to supervise unloading. Azad and Renton, the managers of the companies, also stopped by to ensure everything was going smooth. Unpacking: We had three bedrooms, living room, kitchen, pantry and garage with my woodworking tools. Russell, our driver was there but the unloading crew was local. They unloaded everything and assembled the bedroom furniture and we were able to sleep in our beds that night. Of course there are still unpacked boxes that we will slowly unpack and put away. All in all, Pacific Moving company was great and I can say with confidence that my fears were put to rest by hiring them to move us. I will highly recommend these guys to anyone considering a long distance move. read more

Why is it your company lies steals and can't take simple orders on where to put my stuff. And then to have the balls to tell me n my wife tht they have to take off because it's getting dark out. U the owner & ur lazy ass workers tht can't seem to get their thumbs outta each others butts. And also not to even load the box truck but only halfway full, then has the nerve to not contact us before pulling up to the property. Your company is a joke your workers are even worse and it's nothing but lies and and everyday scheming on the weak n or the overly stressed out clients. It's disgusting and extremely disrespectful and wrong on how your workers today have treated me and my wife. Really don't get how you're charging almost $15,000 from placerville to Dolan springs Arizona and have seven workers three trucks n no common sense from anyone. I believe that they even had broken a few items of ours and I really would appreciate to be either discounted or refunded some of what was broken. I mean maybe you should at least teach your employees a little thing called respect of other people's stuff. If not I will see you in court. Enjoy your day, what's left of it. NY read more

Pacific Moving Company was a pleasure to help me with my move! I researched some other places and they responded to be the quickest via Yelp with the best deal! I called and was able to make an appointment almost immediately. Deposit was easy and the movers arrived promptly the day of my move at 9am. Matthew and Alex (the movers) helped my boyfriend and I move from our one bedroom apartment to a house. I was surprised by how big of a truck they brought as I expected to take several trips. This saved us some drive time! They took great care of all my furniture as well as provide some moving boxes. They carefully wrapped my large furniture items and helped us come up with a strategy to move as I had to also relocate some items to my parents house. They took care of my apartment to my parents house to exchange furniture there to my new house then back to my parents and again back to my new house! Matthew and Alex were so sweet and hard working with a positive "we can do anything you need" attitude! They took their work seriously and made sure everything was done efficiently. I would highly recommend Pacific Moving Company for their great work as well as customer service. read more

EDIT: Wow, I am so shocked about the owner's comment. First of all, I am sorry, I gave $240 to Matthew ($20 tip for each person) so... I hope the owner knew that LOL. I DID NOT ask for any discount when I called for a quote; the owner GAVE me that price right away. In my review, I never said anything about how entitled I was about the time and day. I said I was very grateful about how accommodating about the time and how affordable the price was. I did not call or anything after to ask for any refund. The owner also mentioned we have all small boxes, and that is false. I have receipts to show you we bought about 25 ranging from small, medium, to large boxes from Home Depot. Even if I only had small stuff, no one should still OPEN my stuff WITHOUT asking. I never asked Matthew to park my trailer or U-Haul, he offered (yes I was struggling a bit but I would get it eventually LOL). I also didn't MAKE him unload the cars, I ASKED. They finished the U-Haul in 1.5 hours. But yelpers, go ahead, use your own judgement. Read my review and read the owner's response. Never a word I have disrespected this company, the owner, and the movers. We just moved to Irvine last week and I was about to give a 5-star review after we are now settled down more. I was very grateful for Matthew and the other person (didn't get his name) because they were willing to come at 6pm on a Saturday. We tried our best to come here as soon as we could since we traveled from Northern California, and they were very understanding of our situation and was so accommodating. Matthew and his partner were so fast and even helped us unload both of our cars on top of the uhaul, but I think because of how late it was, there were a couple things that became unprofessional. 1) They dropped my heavy item when I was around, and they didn't say anything about it. I hope my kitchenware is working and there weren't more things that were dropped. 2) I understand it was easier to take stuff out and gather everything to see how to take everything efficiently because we live on the second floor. However, they were putting our stuff on top of the trash bins, and that was just kind of gross, but good that our community had pretty clean trash area. 3) We had an enclosed coat cover stand that was meant to keep our clean coats/blazers unfolded. Just now we were confused why we couldn't find some stuff. I realized, as they moved, they UNZIPPED my cover stand and put boxes in there. They DID NOT ask any of us about it and I find that extremely unprofessional. If they asked, I honestly would have helped or have been okay with it. It was not okay to open my stuff without my permission. If I saw #3 at the moment, I would not have tipped as generous as I did. I was glad they could help us that late on a Saturday, but these things could have been kept professionally. This is mainly why I could only give a 3-star review. If I ever had to move to somewhere under their service area, I would probably still go with PMC again because of the affordable price. I would definitely just make sure to be watching them the entire time and I will suggest you to do so too. read more

The moving timing was a bit late and slow but still OK but a table got a bit damaged and they just said it was wrapped (which does not mean it could not get damaged when moving it by hitting something inside the truck. read more

As soon as I messaged them for a quote, PMC got back to me almost instantly. Joseph was super professional and courteous as we arranged the move, and I got nervous only because things went TOO smoothly. Out of all the rates I got, they offered the best, so that was the cherry on top in choosing them. The day of the move, the two gentlemen arrived when they said they would, and despite the insane amount of rain that came down on us, the move went excellently and the guys handled it like the pros that they are. Definitely reach out to Joseph when you're looking for movers, and you'll be happy with the service and rates! Thanks, guys! read more

YES THEY DID A TERRIFIC JOB! I mean that! Every min they spent making sure the job was done and done right. Everything was wrapped, taken apart, and put back together. Respectful guys, I wish I was home with the receipt that I had asked them to give the names. Honestly the pricing is more than fair. I even purchased a closet box. The $50 deposit is so easy to hold your spot. They finished moving 2 bedrooms (New house has stairs) in under 2.5hrs. I applauded them! If you are moving in the OC area, get a quote and get them moving for you! Best choice in my move! Plus the manager reaches out and lets you know with updates the whole time. That morning it was completely down pouring (I know weird for California.) the manager texted me to let me know. The guys are on their way, but the rain caused traffic. Which I was glad, because it caused traffic for me to get there as well. I support thorough and honest businesses. Especially local too. Will be using them for all my future moves! Thanks guys! Shoutout to you guys the MVP of moving! read more

I was nervous about hiring a moving company due to hearing/reading one too many horror stories. I must have contacted a dozen companies and ultimately chose Pacific Moving Company due to their rate and their responsiveness. Placing a deposit was super easy, sent an email, clicked on link, done. I was advised my movers would arrive between 8am and 9am, they arrived at 8:50am. I was moving from a 3rd floor unit to another 3rd floor unit less than 4 miles away. Matthew and Alex were awesome! They had me moved in 2 hours. I couldn't believe it! They were so professional and nice. They didn't waste any time. Also, they did bring wardrobe boxes. I've already recommended this company to a few friends and if I have to move again (ugh) I will definitely be hiring them again! read more

They did a very good job in making sure nothing got damaged during the process. The move was smooth and clean.

I've heard about so many bad stories about the moving experience becoming an argument with moving company at the end of the day. The responses for quote and inquiries were quick and adequate, and the price was very reasonable. So I decided to hire. The moving process itself was very much stress-free. Matthew and Alex were very diligent and knew what they are supposed to work on. 2 things are the factors that made me to remove 1 star for this review: (a) my appointment time was 8am but they showed up at 9:30 (b) it took longer than I expected it to be - 6.5 hours for 1 bedroom; I had many boxes to move but it still was longer than I imagined it to be read more

I used pacific moving co a few weeks ago and could not be more happy with the service. The guys showed up on time, were polite and courteous, and so efficient. They moved all of my big furniture and did drop offs at 2 different places (storage and my new place) in less then 3 hours! I will definitely use them again and refer them to anyone in need! Oh, I forgot. When I requested the quote on yelp I had a reply in 5minutes and within 15min all my questions were answered and I knew this was the company I was going to use! Thanks guys! read more

I'm always nervous hiring movers because of some past experiences... but let me tell you what. These guys are legit! The team of three (I wish I remembered their names) showed up and were extremely friendly, hardworking, and careful! I would definitely recommend PMC...and although I hope I don't move for awhile, if I do I'm using these guys! Thank you very much! read more

After hearing great things about this company we chose them. After an under estimated quote that cost us $4000 extra. We were not pleased. On top of that we lost 23 boxes/crates of personal and irreplaceable items. This is the worst experience I have ever had. We lost almost $12,000 worth of personal items. For a company that stats they are all about making the customer happy. They are way off. Do not even think of using them unless u like losing ur personal life. How do u miss place so much. My opinion ur warehouse has the worst personnel ever and there is no organization. Please save ur money, time and valuables and bypass this company read more

This move was from California to Arizona. The whole transaction from start to finish was AMAZING! The professionalism from Adrien's quote to the individuals who confirmed, dispatched and the delivery team of Rick, Alex and Vasalee. We couldn't ask for more. We would give them high recommendations. read more

The guys moved everything really fast! Also, their prices were really reasonable. I've used the services of other companies but I think they overcharged me since I didn't have much stuff to move. So that's why I highly recommend using the services of Pacific Moving Company! :) read more

They probably have one of the best affordable prices in Irvine. After constantly sending out estimates through yelp, they seemed to be the most informative. MATTHEW and ALEX were very efficient during our move and we were unfortunately on the fourth floor too:(. For skinny guys, they're pretty strong haha. I will be using them again in the future. See you next year and hopefully it'll be a house next. Thanks guys ! read more

I hope this will be the last time I have to move for a while but if I ever have to move again I would not call anyone but PMC.. Joseph and his crew did an outstanding job. They made my transition to the new place smoothly. They brought unlimited amount of wardrobe boxes, bubbles wrap and help wrap and pack every single items in the house. I'm moving into a brand new community and unfortunately they wasn't ready for us to move in on Mar 20th 2019 so Joseph was so kind to offer to storage all of my belonging in his truck for two days and in the morning of March 22nd 2019 he meet us at our new place and sat there waited for 2 hrs long while the leasing office finishing my paper work. Once I got the key he and his crew moved swiftly to unloading everything from the truck into my apartment within two hrs. My transition to my new home would be so stressful if it wasn't for Joseph and his crew at CPM. Thank you again for all you do! read more

Booked them without hesitation a week before my move, they were a bit more affordable than most of the other movers I got quoted from on yelp. Matthew and Miguel were the two guys that showed up on my move day, they showed up on time worked fast and efficiently but also were friendly. They got all of our stuff packed and unloaded at the new place within a decent amount of time 5-6 hours from a 1 bedroom apt (we had tons of stuff about 50 boxes and furniture) to our new place. Everything was accounted for and in great shape. I would definitely recommend using them if you are looking for a great and affordable moving service. read more

These guys were awesome. Showed up on time and worked the whole way through. Professional and pretty cautious of belongings. One gripe I had was my daughter's dresser had some paint stripped from it when tape was used to wrap it in a moving blanket. Not blaming the movers but just accepting it as collateral damage during a move. At least they were trying to protect it! Would definitely recommend these guys. Professional, fair priced, and hard workers. read more

I highly recommend Pacific Moving Company! Great group of people - honest, efficient, and reliable! I moved 30 miles north of Laguna Niguel and the move was complete in 3 hours with a broken elevator! Joseph and his team had a great attitude and moving was a breezy - because moving is always stressful and unpleasant. Because the moving process was smooth and I trusted the team - I called and asked for assistance to pick up an applicance in Signal Hill - Joseph is great to work with!! read more

PMC helped me with my move from Newport Beach to Tustin a few days ago. I was super impressed with Joseph and Efrain's professionalism, politeness and careful handling of my belongings. It is a huge plus that they provide 5 wardrobe boxes, and their efficient method to load and unload everything, incorporating these wardrobe boxes in the mix, is awesome. The last movers cost me almost twice as much and I hired 3 movers, thinking it would save time, resulting in money savings. Wrong! So I searched for other options and PMC came up in the list. I saw firsthand what all the rave reviews were about! Thank you Joseph and Efrain, for making an otherwise stressful and messy experience, so easy. read more

I lucked out by using yelp to find movers for yesterday.... they were here within the allotted time frame and were very professional and careful with my belongings. They were very cautious to not bother the existing roommate and her belongings. They helped make a bad situation (moving) much easy with a quick move. They broke down and reassembled my bed and moved quickly. They didn't sit around and eat up time.... 100% recommended using this company to help you move!!! read more

Matthew and his guys came out to help us move our 2 story house! They were professional, fast, and courteous. They charged us the correct amount, didn't try to "round up" the hour, but we paid them the full 5 hours anyway because of their great service. They also personally delivered a receipt that I requested to have emailed. Compared to the other companies, they also had the best rate I had researched. Thank you pacific moving company! read more

I've moved twice in the area before and the only issue was that the previous companies weren't as careful. I ended up with scuffs and damaged electronics. Fantastic! Great response time and accurate quote. Movers came on time, had great energy and attitude about them. Very careful with furniture but efficient at the same time. No time wasting. If it all possible I would subtract stars. The most unprofessional, unethical business I've ever dealt with. A designated arrival time (SCHEDULED at latest 2pm) arrival time for 3 hours of service. 3pm rolls around and when trying to reach their office have to leave vm's, eventually reached someone, was told the move WILL NOT TAKE PLACE !!! NO UPDATED CALLS, NO STATUS UPDATES, NO MEANS OF CORRECTING THEIR ERROR IN POOR AND INADEQUATE PROFESSIONALISM!!!! Moved all the items outside to driveway, no show means had to drag everything back in, not to include that there's handicapped ppl involved. This is a co you roll the dice with when spending your hard earned $, CANNOT, WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES. !!!!!! read more

I booked Pacific Moving Company to move my elderly mom from Southern California to Northern California. I had to put 2 moves on hold due to her health. They were beyond accomodating. Rebooking was never a problem, I never lost my deposit. And when we were finally ready to move, they went above and beyond to pick up her belongings and meet us the next day at the storage facility. They were always on time, and very careful with all her furniture. They were polite and friendly. Everything got to its destination and there were no problems. I would definately use them again. My brother will be moving up to northern California next and we will call them for him also. Pricing was very competitive and they kept all their promises, no problem. Always answered the phones or emails promptly. I give them a #10! read more

It's been a few weeks since I hired Pacific Moving Co. to move my 87 year old parents out of their retirement home to live closer to family. Ben sent his crew of 2 men to pack the truck and move us nearly 400 miles away just a couple weeks before Christmas. Everything worked out perfectly! I was very stressed out about this big move with my Dad being in poor health. These movers were fast, efficient, honest and so helpful. They told me when time would start and told me when time was stopped with their packing. The next day, they arrived at the new house and was met by my sister who coordinated all the furniture being placed in the proper rooms. When I pulled up in the car with my parents, all of the furniture was in place. My sister was really pleased with PCM also. Everyone couldn't believe how fast and hard the guys worked our load! Later that day, my mother was so grateful that the move went far smoother than we could have hoped for. If I ever have to move, I'll be calling PCM first on the list! read more

They aren't even done yet but I wish I could give 100 stars. First of all, they saved my ass when a different moving company bailed at 830pm the day they were supposed to arrive(Movers Depot SD). Pacific Moving Co were at my house less than 12 hours after contacting them (I reached out at 9pm and got a response within minutes saying they could save the day!). I'm now relieved the other company bailed to get an opportunity to use these guys. They packed my room up in the blink of an eye- even including wrapping up my massive dresser.
