Chicken brocolli

Best bootleg Chinese food in the area. Run by mom and pop owners they are always busy. Many people come in for take out orders either drive or walk there. They do not have their own delivery people so if you want delivery you have to use one of the apps like grub hub to get their stuff. Honestly they get so much business they wouldn't be able to keep up. Food taste is fresh and nicely seasoned and the portions are very generous.

Walked in ordered Chicken Lomein: arrived quick and freshly made. Simple and perfect. Walked across the street ate at the park bench while charging car @Honda.

The food is great, order the jalapeno chicken it's like general TSO but without the diabetes. Oh and they got parking and only Chinese spot I know that takes credit card

The food was amazing. I'm front out of state so I've had this kind of food from other states & this has to be right there up top of places to get food from. The service had a personal touch as there are only two-three tables in there. But the owners made sure everything was to our liking so it all was a personal experience. Delicious. Would come here again.

General tso lunch special and pork dumplings

**Delivery Review** Craving Chinese food on a Saturday afternoon - settled on this spot that has a large variety of Asian cuisine as well as a reasonable price point. Thankfully the lunch special was still happening - opting for the General Tso Chicken ($9) that comes with a side of rice (I went for the pork fried version at no extra cost) and an egg roll. Chicken has the expected tangy/sweet flavor. Rice is okay, a little dry but fine with some side sauce. Pork egg roll is fantastic, not greasy at all. Also ordered the Fried Pork Dumplings ($6) - a handful of crisped dumplings with a pork/veggie medley inside. I honestly did not use any of the soy sauce, as each had plenty of flavor. Food took a little while to arrive, though that could have been Grubhub's fault. Given the superb value, would order from here again.

Food was really good and big portions! Really fresh and came out really hot! We got white meat C30. Orange Chicken Combo with 40. Roast Pork Fried Rice and 1. Chicken Egg Roll and white meat C24. General Tso's Chicken Combo 30. Egg Drop Soup and White Rice. Both had two pieces of broccoli in there too! Super good!

Chicken with jalapeño peppers (small) $5.75 - 5/5 stars. My favorite on the menu!

I am here at least once a week, sometimes even more lol. The owners are extremely nice especially the lady who is always so sweet and welcoming. This kind of service is quite rare at most Asian restaurants haha. Anyway, there's usually some nice deals where you get a free soda/drink when you order an entree. Make sure to ask for sauces any sauces you want and how many. My favorite dish here is definitely the Chicken with jalapeño peppers. It is sooooo good! I usually get an extra side of white rice since the white rice that comes with the small entree (which is still a good size) is not enough. Speaking of the small entree sizes, it is definitely big enough to share. My favorite appetizers here are the crab Rangoons. They fill it up ENTIRELY with cream cheese unlike most wontons where there's barely anything in there. The ribs here are pretty good too. And the dumplings! Honestly, I love coming here because mostly of their service and their specialties mentioned above. Unfortunately, they no longer have sushi (apparently, they couldn't find a sushi chef/helper) or cheesecake. I don't think their menu is quite up to date. 4/5 stars for food. 1 extra star for their service to make a total of 5/5 stars :)

General Tso's chicken

Pacific Moon is a small Chinese/Japanese take out place with four tables. The staff is friendly and the General Tso's chicken was delicious and crispy. It's a good, cheap place for lunch if you are in the area. It's one of the best Chinese takeout restaurants I've been to. Credit card is accepted.

Even before the food arrives, the restaurant leaves a strong impression with its stunning Japanese-inspired interior. The space is beautifully designed, blending warmth and elegance in a way that feels both inviting and refined. From the soft lighting to the natural wood accents and thoughtfully arranged decor, everything about the atmosphere feels intentional. It captures the intimate charm of a traditional izakaya while still feeling modern and stylish, making it a wonderful setting for anything from a casual dinner to a more special night out. The food more than lived up to the beauty of the space. One of the first highlights was the salmon onigiri, a dish that proved how satisfying simplicity can be when it is done well. The rice was soft, fresh, and perfectly formed, holding together without feeling too compact, while the salmon added a savory richness that made each bite feel comforting and flavorful. It was balanced, delicate, and deeply satisfying in a way that made it memorable despite its simplicity. The seared salmon salad was another standout. The salmon itself was beautifully prepared, with a lightly seared exterior that gave it a subtle crispness, while the inside remained tender, buttery, and smooth. That contrast in texture made the dish especially enjoyable. Paired with the freshness of the salad, it felt light and refreshing, yet still substantial enough to feel like more than just a side dish. It was a dish that managed to feel both clean and indulgent at the same time. The grilled squid was particularly impressive and easily one of the most memorable items of the meal. Squid can often be difficult to get right, as it can become rubbery or overly chewy if even slightly overcooked, but that was absolutely not the case here. The texture was spectacular--tender, delicate, and pleasantly springy without any toughness. Each bite had a light smokiness from the grill that added depth, while the squid itself retained its natural sweetness. It was expertly prepared and showcased a level of precision that really stood out. For the main courses, both the Tonkatsu Ramen and the Black Pepper Ramen delivered distinct experiences, each with its own appeal. The Tonkatsu Ramen was deeply comforting and satisfying, with a broth that had a rich, velvety texture and a full-bodied depth that coated the palate beautifully. It felt smooth, hearty, and luxurious without being too heavy. The noodles had an ideal texture as well--firm enough to provide a satisfying bite, yet soft enough to soak up the broth and integrate perfectly into the dish. Altogether, it was a bowl that felt warming, balanced, and incredibly comforting. The Black Pepper Ramen, on the other hand, brought a bolder and more assertive flavor profile. The broth had a smooth, glossy texture, and the noodles again had a pleasing chew that gave the dish structure and substance. The black pepper added an unmistakable warmth and aromatic intensity that made the ramen stand out immediately. It was flavorful and memorable, though the pepper was slightly overwhelming at times. A bit less black pepper would have allowed the other flavors in the broth to come through more clearly and created a more balanced bowl. Even so, the ramen was still enjoyable, especially for those who appreciate strong, pepper-forward flavors. Overall, Izakaya Fuku is a restaurant that succeeds on every level. The stunning Japanese interior creates an atmosphere that feels both immersive and elegant, while the food reflects a real attention to detail in both flavor and texture. From the comforting salmon onigiri, to the fresh and beautifully prepared seared salmon salad, to the expertly grilled squid with its exceptional texture, and finally the rich and satisfying ramen dishes, every part of the meal felt carefully executed. It is a place that offers not just excellent food, but a complete dining experience, and it is well worth visiting for anyone looking for standout Japanese cuisine in New York.

As a big fan of tongue, my mouth watered. The waitress asked me how spicy I wanted it, so I requested mild to ensure it wasn't going to burn my mouth. The Sushi Pizza was tasty, although thought some may think it was a little pricey for the size. The flavorful tongue in the Cheley Khatsa was tender, as expected. Glad I didn't get it spicier! It came with white rice, which helped. Although I'm not often in this section of Jackson Heights, might consider stopping by another time to check out other specialties. Recommend you check it out as well.

However, after the first time trying it, my partner and I were blown away by the quality of the meal. The portions we got were way more than any other Japanese set meal restaurant in NYC, and for under $40 you can't really get any better than Honzen. Each set includes miso soup, fresh sashimi of the day, uni topped tofu custard, pickled vegetables, eggplant, pickles, and your main dish. Our favorite has to be the katsu, it's probably the best value item on the menu. The miso cod was also excellent, super buttery and tasty while not being too expensive. Both options are available under $40. I would also recommend just ordering the standard Japanese rice, since it's already very filling as it is and we've never needed any of the rice with additions. Service can be a bit slow if you come later in the evening, which is understandable as it gets busier with all the set meals coming out. Ambiance is super cozy, with a sit down area that has cushions and a low table. Can't really go wrong with any spot in the restaurant. We come back here all the time when we're craving something homey and filling, would recommend Honzen!
