Shrimp Lo Mein

This will be the new go-to Chinese food spot for me from now on in Astoria. We got the shrimp lo mein, egg roll, scallion pancakes, and shrimp roll and everything was GREAT! The scallion pancakes were different that any other type I've had before. They were thicker and flakier which I really liked! Also super speedy delivery and they didn't skimp on the sauces which is always a plus!

Shrimp Fried Rice with Fried Chicken Wings 4 pcs

Found this place searching for a decent Chinese restaurant in the woodside area of Queens and they did not disappoint! Ordered an order of shrimp fried rice with chicken wings, an egg roll, small french fries and a large home made iced tea. The shrimp fried rice was delicious and flavorful. The wings were crispy and cooked to perfection. The egg roll was crispy and not oily and the french fries were cooked just right. The home made iced tea was good as well but I am pretty sure it comes in a carton. If I am ever in the area and I am craving chinese food this will definitely be my go to spot! Highly recommend them! Will definitely be back!

Your basic fast food greasy Chinese restaurant. I ordered a sweet and sour chicken this week. Food was greasy, but okay. Service fast and so so. Would i be back, No

I guess the address is technically woodside but this is in Astoria. Pros: Delivery was fast on a rainy weekday around 7. Food was hot. No spillage. Very good prices. Vegetable dumplings were authentic filling and delicious. You get 8. But dough is too thick. Beef chow fun was more like authentic Chinese food. Generous portions Nice people when I called - they seemed rushed because it was busy. But not rude. I called 2x. And the 2'nd time I had questions about ingredients and the woman took the time to ask the cook and then thanked me for calling. Cons: No utensils or napkins included. Noodles came in styrofoam and were stapled closed - beware you don't eat the staple. Sesame bean curd came with like 3 broccoli and was pretty bland. Pass. Veggie lo mein also a little bland. Pass. Veggie egg roll was a bit greasy and more like a spring roll. Pass. Some dishes are probably better than others. I'd try them again and try other dishes. But still searching for my go to Chinese food place.

Delicious food at a really good price. The broccoli in garlic sauce was one of the best I have had in Astoria!

First time here and they did not disappoint. The dry pot was amazing. Large portion sizes…read more Definitely over-ordered but will make for get leftovers. We ordered the dan dan noodles for an appetizer, chewy noodles and good flavor. Then we had the custom dry pot (we put chicken, tofu, Napa and Choy medium spicy) that came out tasty and fast. And finally we ordered the crispy fish which was HUGE but crunchy and flavorful - definitely more food than we expected but it's okay! Servers were friendly and even though there was an error in our order they were quick and ways to fix. The restaurant is small and hole in the wall, feels authentic. AC wasn't on so a little warm with all this spicy food but overall will definitely come back with friends and family.

A forgettable lunch I had here. It's not terribly bad but I can name a couple other Chinese…read morerestaurants I've had a better experience in. The restaurant is a few blocks from the main street of Steinway so it'll take a bit of searching. Going inside, the area is rather abstract. Pink flower wallpaper on one end and dry wall on the other, it's kinda off-putting but I didn't come here for the atmosphere anyway. Service was lukewarm, I got my order in but the two workers inside weren't too receptive and the menu itself is kinda barebones with most of their food being a bit more than I would like to pay for so I just settled on one order of Singapore Mei Fun. After waiting 10 minutes for my food to arrive, the Singapore noodles which are usually spicy were kinda salty but it was nothing a bit of duck sauce wouldn't fix. This one order cost $17 while not the worst Singapore Mei Fun...well technically it is, even though it's not horrible but I've had much better from other places for a stable price of $12. Yeah, a rather disappointing visit. Not the worst I've ever had but could be so much better.
