First of all. The people that work there are the sweetest people ever. Always so cheerful and nice. It's usually just two people, a man and women (I think they are married) and occasional their son is there too. Delivery is still pretty fast and the food is always good. I honestly can't believe this place has over 4 stars. I decided to pickup an order of a shrimp egg roll and pad Thai and was excited because of the high reviews. Everything was bad! The egg roll was literally rotten. I wondered how long it had been sitting there before they decided to give it to me. The shrimp was so pale, it was unrecognizable. The pad Thai noodles also tasted stale, I was floored! The staff was very friendly, however, I am never coming back here. I've been coming here a little less then a year, 2 times a week, as its close to work. I make it a thing to walk a few blocks to the place, even tho I have another Chinese spot on my block. I can't comment on the Japanese food since I never ordered, but when I order my general tso's chicken with white rice, and hot oil on the side, its consistently good every single time. Now what keeps me coming back is the attitude and work ethic of this small family run place. Went for a stroll at 9 something at night. The restaurant is a good walking distance about 9-10 blocks away from my mother's house. Got there and it was a cute nice sized restaurant. The owners were very welcoming. My sis had came with me so she ordered a shrimp roll cause she's a picky eater. I ordered my Jalapeño chicken and scallion pancakes. My sis got her shrimp roll ate it on spot and fell in love. I was shocked....so I knew the food was good automatically. Got back to my moms house. Ate the scallion pancakes first cause I figured they wouldn't taste good reheated...mannnnn them scallion pancakes were sooooo good. They give you this sweet, sour tangy salty sauce to dip them in...which they need to give 2 of those cause I wish I had 2. Today I'm eating the Jalapeño chicken & white rice....so good with the right amount of spice kind of put you in the mind of General Tso chicken....anyway everything was good. I have only ordered delivery from Pacific Moon, so I can not speak to the dining-in experience. Over a series of orders, I have had: Jalapeño Chicken, Ribs, Sesame Noodles, Crab Rangoon, Pork Dumplings, Egg rolls, Hot and Sour soup and Pork fried rice. Usually order from here out of convenience, especially if the weather is bad. The food is good, but what really has me rating the business as five stars is the customer service that they provide. I called in a delivery on a day when it was pouring out, ETA was 20 minutes, and the food arrived promptly at 20 minutes. To my surprise, when I opened the door, it wasn't the normal deliveryman, but rather one of the owners/managers, and he was completely soaked. No umbrella or poncho, no bike, no car. He walked to my home to deliver the food despite the weather, and apologized for taking so long as he explained to me that the delivery man was out making other deliveries at the moment. If that's not dedication, then I don't know what is. I'm sure they would do everything right by their customers, and for that reason, I will always be ordering from them. read more
