    Subgum Pan Fried Noodles

I am highly dissapointed. You can do better at this! Alright. I recently ordered these, "Subgum Pan Fried Noodles" this afternoon and they arrived DRY. No effort whatsoever has been applied into this "meal". In addition, it was supposed to come with wontons although it did not. Be aware of this place! The "wontons" came with chicken, broccoli, & carrots but let me just tell you, the broccoli SUCKED. Not only did it suck, it tasted like snot or like it was from last Tuesday. Honestly, I deserve a refund.

Solid local Chinese food spot. They even have general tsos tofu, and give you fortune cookies! The delivery is quick too. I just wish they gave you noodles with the hot and sour soup - then it'd be five stars!

I gave it a shot since I was looking for the good Chinese food in this area. But i wouldn't come back and keep looking for other option. Food was ok and I ordered sesame chicken from lunch menu for $8.75. They didn't take credit card.

Kudos to Panda Garden for having been in Woodside under the 7 train tracks since forever. Obviously, you can't judge Chinese takeout joints except as compared to other Chinese takeout joints. ...That said, compared to other Chinese takeout joints, Panda Garden is not great. Portion size is average to small, the fried rice had a weird industrial taste to it, the General Tso's chicken was overfried and drowned in an even-sweeter-than-usual sauce that had no flavor beyond dead chili peppers. Worst of all, the fried chicken wings (my go-to) were tinyyyyy. The cook who took my order and put it together was very friendly. They seem to be in a generally good mood here. The place is dingy and worn down - I guess I've been to better takeout spots in the past, with superior food, prices, and cleanliness. Want American-adapted Chinese takeout? Go somewhere else; this area has no shortage. (I usually default to Lin's Kitchen: https://www.yelp.com/biz/lins-kitchen-jackson-heights)

I went here on a Sunday night and it was an excellent decision on my part. From the moment I called the person on the phone was very friendly and was quickly able to give the prices for meals. I walked to the restaurant a few minutes later and my food was hot and ready. The beautiful customer service continued and they even waved goodbye as I left. Unlike many other Chinese restaurants I've been to, this was a nice place to sit and eat. If it weren't for Covid I wouldn't mind eating there. The shrimp fried rice was tasty, while the fried shrimp was extremely crispy. The only thing is they gave tartar sauce packets vs the small container of tartar sauce. The cabbage in the shrimp roll aslo didn't seem fresh. Whenever I'm in the area I would definitely make a stop there.

Very nice people and there are plenty of seats, but the General Tso's chicken was disappointing. There is a lot of fillers as another reviewer mentioned and it does not taste as nearly as good as how most Chinese takeout places make it.

Great local Chinese place, always good quality food and great hot/sour soup. I would also recommend their eggplant chicken & BBQ dishes.

I ordered the Broccoli with garlic sauce over pork fried rice and was totally amazed by the amount of food they gave me.

The restaurant is a few blocks from the main street of Steinway so it'll take a bit of searching. Going inside, the area is rather abstract. Pink flower wallpaper on one end and dry wall on the other, it's kinda off-putting but I didn't come here for the atmosphere anyway. Service was lukewarm, I got my order in but the two workers inside weren't too receptive and the menu itself is kinda barebones with most of their food being a bit more than I would like to pay for so I just settled on one order of Singapore Mei Fun. After waiting 10 minutes for my food to arrive, the Singapore noodles which are usually spicy were kinda salty but it was nothing a bit of duck sauce wouldn't fix. This one order cost $17 while not the worst Singapore Mei Fun...well technically it is, even though it's not horrible but I've had much better from other places for a stable price of $12. Yeah, a rather disappointing visit. Not the worst I've ever had but could be so much better.

I got the wonton soup and pork juicy buns. The soup was different from other wonton soups with the addition of cilantro and some nice balancing flavors for the salt, and the juicy buns were your classic soup dumplings with a very nice rich sauce to dip in. The dandan noodles my friend ordered were maybe my favorite, they were the perfect level of spicy and so flavorful without being overwhelming. I'd go back just for my own plate of those. The service was quite fast, and it's a cute little shop that feels like a small town Chinese restaurant. Very reasonably priced as well. Some of my favorite Chinese food I've found outside of Lower Manhattan !

It has a nice interior and I suspect may get busy during peak hours, although I was able to slip in at the bar just fine. I tried the Lucky Coin tofu. It was good! It was a bit spicy for my palate, though I'm glad I stuck with it. Be sure to order it with rice -- they initially served it without, and it definitely needs it.

We had the lucky coin tofu and the mala squid and chives (not pictured because I forgot lol) I loved the texture each and it made a great combo. The only con is that they charge for rice, which to me is a very cheap move. You know that nobody is going to eat this without rice! Why are we charging? My local takeout Chinese doesn't charge, so why should an upscale restaurant charge? I've been meaning to come to this place for a while and was not disappointed! The service was great. My friend wanted an IPA, but they ran out of the beer. She asked for a recommendation and the server ended up going to the kitchen and specifically finding an IPA for her. I had a sip and it was quite good! The restaurant was beautiful with lots of space! The seats were very comfy. I appreciate how they actually gave us good seats. Usually, restaurants will put you in the corner even if it's a full restaurant because it's convenient to them.
