We recently had our back patio done by this professional company. We did pavers and turf. We loved their work and insightful help with adding drainage and 220v trenches for our jacuzzi lines to be run. They showed up every day early, never left any messy work areas, are very courteous and professional. It's very hard these days to get professional workmanship. Chuck and his crew of PCP has made my backyard GREAT AGAIN! The patio was excavated and leveled according to code. Cracked concrete was replaced by Belgard Catalina Grana in the color Rio. Cuts were very precise and attention to detail was noted on the pavers on edge, and an unexpected step that had to be created due to the footing of my brick wall. The curves were done quite flawlessly and the upgraded drains made the work one with a luxurious touch. If I'm going to nitpick it would be that the project took two days longer than thought. I found Pacific Coast Pavers by reading their reviews. Since their reviews were really good, I contacted them. From my initial conversation with Chuck, I could tell that he was honest and knowledgeable. I explained that I wanted an estimate for a backyard patio and Chuck said he would be over the next day to give me an estimate. He showed up on time, and was well prepared. He even brought a catalog with him which made it very easy to select the color and style that we wanted. Chuck's employees were top notch. His foreman was experienced and extremely competent. The crew was hard working, respectful and very professional. The job required complete demolition of existing cement and back yard tiles. They did a great job at demolishing and removing all the rubbish. I want to mention that Chuck provided his employees with a porta potty, which was a huge plus for me. I've had contractors who try to get out of having to provide a porta potty. My patio turned out great!!! My wife and I asked them for a combination of two colors and also asked them to install ribbons for a more modern look. We couldn't be happier!! The final product looks amazing!! More than 10 years ago?? Yes, it might be that long or longer. Chuck and his crew removed my 40 year old asphalt drive and installed a much larger one. Pavers are still looking great, and NO cracks like if I would have paid more for someone to pour concrete. 100% transparent I knew Chuck from 20 years or more ago, and certainly trusted in him with my project. We hired chuck navarro's company to replace the pavers on our driveway that was sinking 2 years ago. His quote was the most fair we received. The driveway was done with a team of 5-6 people and well compacted. There were two problems afterwards, one was that they broke a sprinkler pipe that leaked through the driveway. This was repaired within a few days of my calling. The second problem was that a 2x2 feet area of the driveway began to sink. It took about 4 months ... but chuck eventually had someone come out and level the area. To date the driveway looks great and is not not sinking. Overall, I would hire chuck again to do the job. Chad Fassler has completed two jobs at our house: custom-artistic pavers w/ desert rock speckles from Arizona for pool deck and terraces, and then later an adjoining elevated patio to replace an old wooden deck. We chose pavers on sand w/ hard borders as the superior alternative to cement, knowing how ground shifts in CA. They do great work and we'd definitely use Pacific Coast Pavers again. Chad is a straight shooter and we think he's the best such contractor in Orange County. They have hired and kept the best crew because they are a good employer. They did a great job, however, they took out a main drainage to lay pavers and haven't been responsive or come back to fix it. When he is reached, Chuck gives the runaround and is very vague about when they will return. It's been months that we have been trying to get him to come out, to no avail. I hired Pacific Coast Pavers to install a new driveway and front steps with Belgard pavers. After a couple of rainstorms, I noticed the rain had washed out the sand from my steps. These guys used regular sand - not polymeric joint sand! I even had another contractor look at it. Yep, regular old sand. What a mess it creates when it rains! Would give them minus 5 if I could. On 4/18/17 I obtained a quote to clean, sand and seal my interlocking pavers. Chuck said that they would start on 5/18/17. On 5/17/17, I received a message from Chuck telling me that his worker was ill and wouild not be able to start the job as planned. By Friday, we were calling Chuck to see what was going on and when the work would begin. On Monday, 5/22/17, I sent a message to Chuck that asked if he was still interested in doing the job. He immediately texted back and said he was "very busy" and he would get back to us the following day. That was over two weeks ago, and at this point I have lost any confidence in Chuck as a person I would want to do business with, let alone trust the quality of the work he may do. read more

Charles Navarro's installers work to ICPI Standards. Pacific Coast Pavers exceeded our expectations on all levels. My wife and I did our homework learning all we could about paving stone installation. I was thinking about doing it myself. I first made a to scale drawing showing our home and the areas all around our home where we wanted paving stones. The total area was just over 3000 sq. ft. We checked Angie's List and all the reviews we could find. We had a total of six paving stone contractors give us estimates for the same job per our drawing. After the 2nd contractor we thought we were sure we would use them. We also liked the the 3rd and 4th contractor. After meeting Charles Navarro the 5th contractor we knew we wanted his company to do our job. He was not the lowest bid, but the first bid was much higher. Our neighbors also hired Pacific Coast Pavers to install their paving stones using the same Orco Villa Orcotta with Holland Charcoal Boarders we chose. We also had matching bullnose steps with full returns on the sides of the walkway to the front door. Later we had our front lawn removed and Chuck's team installed matching brick boarders and a Synthetic Grass Lawn. I hired pacific coast pavers in Sept 2016 and got an estimate for about 975 square feet of pavers and a new gas fire pit from Chuck Navarro ...we agreed on a price and he put Will in charge. Will and his various helpers were hard workers and always polite and the new decks look great. So why the one star rating...FOLLOW UP..during the job they broke a gas line electrical line and various sprinklers...all of which were promptly repaired at no cost. On final walk thru it was discovered that 2 area lights had also been broken and they said they would fix those as well...so I paid them in full assuming they would keep their word. 3 weeks later about 4 texts and calls from chuck and calls from various employees stating we will be there and no one shows...I give up.
