Our beautiful backyard landscape and makeover has been successfully completed (all within a reasonable time frame)... We are pleased to submit a great review for Eric Mercado, of Resolve Landscape. Eric and his crew tackled a tough job to level the uneven soil in our 700 sq. ft. +/- area in preparation for upgrading the existing soil to improve out backyard to install a new sprinkler system and Marathon I sod. (I hope that if possible, Resolve Landscapers wouldn't mind adding any additional information that I may have overlooked). In addition, Resolve installed PTL lumber along the tree line, a separate drip system for additional plantings around our trees, and added a B-Hyve wi-fi enabled watering system with multiple stations to allow us to control the timing for watering backyard areas. We also had flagstone stepping stone pavers installed in one of the corners of our backyard, with 3/8" Del Rio pea rocks to support the walkway. The sprinklers also were not the kind I wanted, and after letting it be known, he did come offer to make it right and install what I thought I was paying for. I cannot recommend Eric and Resolve enough! They completed changed our front yard and helped us revamp our backyard. Our front yard was such an eye score but with Resolve, we finally have that curb appeal!! Eric and his team were extremely clean, organized, and responsive thought out this entire process. In our front yard, Eric completed turf install, planter box (automatic drip system, installed rocks, cleaned up our broken sprinkler system into one single valve). In the backyard, he installed turf with bender boards, added new rocks to fill in our gaps, and stepping stones with turf in an oddly shaped box we had. With the turf, I cannot see any of his seams or any nails that they used. A huge plus! They took 4 days to complete the project but it was worth the wait. Eric cleaned up after himself and his crew were always working while on our property. Each time they left, our house was left in a presentable and safe manner since we have dogs in the backyard. The pricing was competitive despite us looking at multiple other turf only companies, what sold us was he was able to complete ALL outdoor needs at a great price! From the consultation to final walk through, Eric was extremely responsive and communicative. He made sure we were using the best turf to fit our needs and educated us throughout the process. Eric's team transformed our backyard and not only gave us a space to relax in, but also fixed an issue that was threatening our new home. We found Eric when we were seeking help with a drainage problem that was forcing water into the foundation and cracking it. He improved and extended the work an earlier team had done on the French drain, as well as digging a well to trap and disperse water. The next step was revamping the space with turf, a patio and some plants. The results have been great! We have a pleasant, private space for relaxing and entertaining, instead of the prison yard that was there before. The chairs are arriving later this week so we can close out the summer in comfort. I need to get a suitable photo of this, but one detail that holds meaning for me are the lines in the concrete for the patio. Eric gave significant aesthetic consideration to how the lines would meet and cross, and the result is geometrically pleasing. We didn't ask for this, and the choice to spend energy on it tells me I'm working with someone who values presentation and who's bothered by imperfections. There are so many turf companies out there selling hollow dreams! Resolve landscape is the real deal. We have used Resolve for multiple turf projects at a few houses and this company knows their turf science, does the high quality prep work, uses quality turf, and stand by their work. Their seams? Sheeeeeeeesh, best in the game. We have seen so many seams around town that can be spotted from a moving car. Their seams are very, very concealed. I had some issues with water pooling up in my backyard when it rained and I had no sprinklers. Resolve was hired to lay down some drainage and to add a sprinkler system. I did not have any negative experiences during this project and here are a few positives: great communication, very accurate scheduling/timeline, no unnecessary lapses in working between start and finish, professional staff, and focus on cleanliness. I believe they even brought their own porta potty, which was great because they weren't tracking any dirt into the house and, even better, not pissing all over the backyard like most contractors do. After the job was done, I had a little leak in a drip line. Resolve promptly came out and RESOLVED the issue.
